    The program itself is "safe" but it acts malicious in the sense it's usually installed without your knowledge, you can't control it and it tends to do it's own thing. Pando is actually a Torrent software used to preserve the hosts bandwidth by stealing yours. The idea is good as Torrent is a good way to deliver big files to many people and Pando does this automatically with a simple click... the problem is it doesn't stop when your done downloading the game, it'll continue to use your bandwidth whenever it pleases.

    Pando makes it's money off saving the host bandwidth, which is why it continues to use your bandwidth even when your done downloading... and long long after you've uploaded your "fair" share. It's also why it's installed so quietly and doesn't alert you in anyway it's running... they are banking on the average user (the majority) not even knowing it's installed. Basically they are using your bandwidth... the bandwidth you pay for, to make them money.

    It's always a good idea to remove it after downloading a game especially if you have a bandwidth cap, you might even find your internet a little faster.
