Server 2 of Dragon's Call II is launched as scheduled in order to meet its loyal players' need, at 10:00am, Oct. 9th (GMT+8). It is an Asian server, named Willshir, which is a place in game. A new set of photos from the official Pearl Abyss Facebook Page shows off the real time transition of Black Desert Online. A day in-game time goes in 4 hours in reality. Look at the screenshot they provided, the sun comes up from the horizon to its zenith and then back down again, which gives different shadows and light patterns that reflect the time of day.
With such realistic transition, it is important to check time carefully for playing contents. Some of contents are provided at night, or maybe at daytime. Most of NPCs in Black Desert Online will go home and sleep. At night, monster becomes more scary.

 

CCP Games has announced that EVE Online: Retribution, the 18th free expansion for its sci-fi massively multiplayer online game, will be launched on December 4, 2012.

In addition to new ships and an as-yet unrevealed bounty hunter revamp, Retribution completely redesigns the Crimewatch system that decides whom you can legally shoot and stops players from docking or jumping out of the system in the middle of combat. EVE's aggression mechanics are notoriously complicated and buggy, but Retribution aims to simplify the system and put players in the driving seat of criminal justice.

Retribution will also introduce a weapon safety feature that allow players to really get some granular control. With the safety on, players will be restricted from doing any actions that would be considered illegal.

Additional updates include CREST improvements, NPC AI, UI improvements and so on.

Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida has posted his 36th Letter from the Producer this week to bring more news on the upcoming A Realm Reborn alpha and what players can expect in November. The alpha test for A Realm Reborn should get underway later this month, but following a recent vote by players, the current version of the game will remain in operation beyond the scheduled shutdown date of November 11th. Despite a 64.6% portion of the vote not favoring the option to continue playing the current version given that none of the data will transfer beyond November 11th with the A Realm Reborn launch, servers will come back up after that date and remain under observation.

"Overall, about 35% of you voted for keeping the servers open, regardless of the fact new data won’t be carried over. While these numbers make for a tough decision, I was planning to keep the servers open so long as 30% of the players voted for it. And so, a few days after the servers go down on November 11th (00:00 PST), we’re planning to bring them back up."

Marvel Heroes was initially slated for a 2006 release, but it launch is finally looming on the horizon with the beta phase already accepting registrations. President of Gazillion David Brevik has stressed that he F2P market is confusing, but wants to assure everyone that his game is absolutely free.

"We aren't just a little bit free," Brevik said. "We're completely free. All the content is free and there are others things that you can buy to enhance your experience but they are completely optional. This isn't a nickel and dime experience we're creating."

Wolf, the 6th race for Forsaken World, will be alive in the China server on 18th October. The wolf race (or Werewolf) has already been part of the main storyline as NPCs since the game was launched a couple of years back.

The racial ability is very impressive. They can transform into wolves for 15 seconds, which immediately gets rid of all negative effects upon casting. As wolf’s form, casting speed will be increased 15%.

The male Wolf will only be able to play as the Assassin, while the female Wolf only as the Priest.

 

Dark Vale Games has announced a closed beta for Forge that will last from now until the end of November.

Players who registered for the game early in the summer have access to this closed beta, as do those who have pre-ordered the game. If you missed your chance to sign up previously, pre-orders are still being taken on the official site. Also, anyone who registers on the site now will be able to log a little bit of beta time using a free 14-day trial set within the beta.
