WEBZEN Inc. announced the start of the second closed beta for the online tactical FPS game, 'ARCTIC COMBAT.'

This October 10th (GST), Arctic Combat will open its 2nd closed beta revealing new contents and holding the regional qualification tournaments for North America and Europe. Players can receive beta keys from the many game media sites and redeem it at the official Arctic Combat website.

For this closed beta, two new maps, 'Downtown' and 'Vintage', will be revealed, providing more variety to contents. The newly added 'Customization System' will allow players to change the appearance and performance of their weaponry. Also, the 'Clan System' will be added, giving clan members an experience and point boost while enhancing team-based gameplay.

 

District 187: Sin Streets starts its open beta today! The open beta launch comes with three new maps: The Sewers, the Factory and the SS Steuben as well as several new weapons. Additionally, as a token reward, players that took part in the closed beta will find their names reserved, their friends list intact along with their clan names and clan members.

The use of propaganda throughout the history has left us with some amazing creative art works. Everybody knows about the Soviet propaganda imaginary, or Uncle Sam’s urge to recruit new soldiers... it’s all part of our history. Some has even made a comeback recently – many of you have no doubt seen the ‘Keep Calm And…’ meme that has been circulating over the last year or so – it is directly based on British World War 2 propaganda.

In our ongoing quest for the Golden Joystick Award, Wargaming wants to create its own imagery. This is why we are inviting you to participate in our new contest (part of our Golden Joystick Contest Marathon) by designing a poster encouraging other players to vote for World of Tanks in the best MMO category.
