    safari has the fourth largest browser userbase... likely due to being the default for apple computers. As with windows and internet explorer, many people just don't see a reason/know how/want to install a new browser.

    Opera then comes in at fifth, though opera mini is a/the leading mobile browser, and has been.

    Hey quinn, kingsfield... if you check your user cp you'll get a notification for this thread... and remember that I use chrome dev. Slash current firefox when dev breaks, which is infrequent.

    I'm using 4 browsers: Opera, Chrome, FF and IE. My mom and I sometimes share computers. We can be online at the same time. We usually use Chrome and Opera. :)

    I use google Chrome and its the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed and it was normal too,i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities..But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier..

    I use chrome for everything else, but i like the metro interface
    on my other OS i use firefox

    You know, I noticed from my website development that Chrome can't play playlists. It just can't do it, apparently there's no built-in function for that in chrome. I tested it with m3u and asx and Chrome fails at both. In terms of function chrome isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Quick, yeah sure, but function wise not that great.

    Also Internet explorer fails at displaying SVG graphics, it can't do it, whereas Firefox can. I haven't tested this with Chrome yet, but I suspect that Chrome also fails there.

    Firefox can't display negative z-indexes for layered graphics. It also can't work with numbered ID's. All of which is incredibly annoying for a website developer.

    Older versions of Opera have problems with image opacity.

    I have yet to see a browser that can do all of the above. As of now Internet Explorer comes closest to achieve that, but it's not there yet. IE is not perfect, function wise it is the best, speed wise, probably the worst.

    The difference in speed between Firefox and Opera appears to be neglible (it's hard to notice compaired to say FF versus IE), where Firefox can do a lot more than Opera. That leads me to conclude that Opera isn't a good browser.

    Aside from add-ons which Opera's library is growing, Opera does 10x what Firefox can out of the box. Firefox is a web browser, Opera is pretty much a full internet suite.

    That said I prefer Chrome, Opera is great but uses to much memory at this point (think it's a bug in the current release), Firefox is nice but you have to use add-ons to match the backup support Chrome has built in.
