Martial Heroes, once known as D.O. Online, is a free 3D MMORPG with an Asian martial arts theme. Although the sub genre of martial arts in MMOs is becoming increasingly popular, Martial Heroes stands out as one of the top martial arts MMOs due to its combat dynamics, graphics, and various innovative systems that can keep players constantly busy. Unlike World of Warcraft and other major MMOs where you can join a guild at any level by simply clicking on a button, players have to fulfill certain requirements before joining a guild in the game's guild system. A player will need to be a certain level and may need money or to complete a quest before joining one of the various types of guilds in the game. The game's product system is quite elaborate, but can be very rewarding for players who focus on it by allowing them to produce their own gear. Not only can players make their own equipment, but they can also upgrade them using rare ingredients as well. Thus, do not be surprised to see players showing off their upgraded items. One of the more interesting systems of Martial Heroes is the combo system. The combo system allows players to combine skills under one button so that the two to five skills can be activated right after each other. Combos are very important because they generate substantially higher critical hits than critical hits from normal attacks. All these systems give Martial Heroes considerable depth in a sub genre that relies heavily on action.

Comment: I have been playing this game for about a year and it is starting to get boring. One of the worst things about this game is the leveling which after level 50 you get like .20% from a kill and from there on it just keeps going down until its practically impossible to level. The graphics, however, are very good and the fighting style is great.

Comment: I have played many MMORPGs but none have offered me anywhere near the same amount of things to do, such as tons of quests, huge amounts of maps and the Player Kill (PK) Option. This game offers the player a chance to choose between lawful and evil factions. There is almost always a GM or GM Helper online somewhere if u need help with anything.
The community is generally full of very helpful people if you find yourself lost or in need of assistance in general. All and all, I would give this game a 9/10 for overall playability.

Comment: Generally, this game allows you to do lots of things even when you are away from your keyboard (afk). Martial Heroes is much fun because of the active online community and the content-rich game itself.

Pros -
1. Sweet graphics.
2. Huge area to explore.
3. Mostly courteous and friendly community.
4. Many quests to keep the game interesting.
5. Leveling is not too fast or too slow.
6. Many skills and items.
7. The trading system, vending system that allows you to sell items afk, production system where you can produce raw materials for items afk, and the delivery system that allows you to give items to someone else who is offline or difficult to find.
8. Nice and versatile battle system.
9. Different classes and weapon types that enable different playing styles due to their different skills and stats.
10. Allows you to change weapon type easily if you are bored.
11. Allows you to reset your skills and relearn them in case you make a mistake.
12. Allows you to make and upgrade items yourself. Extensively upgraded items make the wearer look great.
13. Many different monsters, and some classes are stronger against certain types of monsters.
14. You can engage in fair one-on-one or party-to-party duels with other players at no cost.
15. Players may also PvP, but there are very effective measures that makes sure there are no abusers.
16. GMs and GM helpers are active and there are many events that keep people coming back to play.
17. It is free forever!

Cons -
1. Big download (400+ MB).
2. Monster and NPC names are not very clear or easy to remember (Does "ZH-F Ja Lvl2" sound like a person wearing an ox mask? Or does CheongMyYeong sound like a book seller?).
3. Takes time to be familiar with the controls.
4. Takes quite some time to load.
5. Quests are level dependent. You cannot attempt a quest below the level range requirement (would most likely be courting death anyway) or above the level range requirement.
6. If someone kills other players too much he would become weaker and it is hard to get out of that status. 
7. Getting from place to place where scrolls don't take you can be quite time consuming.
8. You cannot party with someone who differs from your level by 10 levels (which means no power-leveling).
