A decade-old game that debuted in 2010, but was quite remarkable for its time and spawned sequels like Black Ops II and Black Ops: Cold War. And just like its sequel hints, the game is set during the Cold War with the main protagonist being a CIA operative Alex Mason. I think the game’s story is definitely worth checking out, plus I’d probably place this game somewhere in the top 3 of best COD games. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.8/5.

5/5 – CoD Modern Warfare 3 is a first person shooter game that I used to own on the Xbox 360 until the disc got scratched enough that I couldn’t play anymore. It was a great game the maps were exhilarating to play in it actually felt like you were in a war.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an interesting game, and a great one to end the Modern Warfare series, especially for the plot. Would recommend playing the games in order first, because the stories do build from the previous games. Multiplayer is a fun experience, especially the game types like Kill Confirmed and Team Defender. Graphics is pretty good, even to this day, and the maps in survival mode seem pretty good as well. Overall, I’d give this game a 4.5/5.

5/5 – One of the best 1st person action games of all time, it’s also the best selling. Recently there’s been news there’s supposed to remaster it for 2019 which is cool.

Famous game being the first of the CoD series, the game is awesome, the experience here reminds the real second great war, it’s a first person game to play offline.

Really great game, perhaps the defining moment in the Call of Duty series. Game’s plot is pretty nice, and the campaign is fun, especially since it features five different characters with the main character being Sergeant Gary “Roach” Sanderson. And for 2009, the enemies in the game actually had pretty good AI, especially since the game used the IW (Infinity Ward) Engine. Visuals are kind of old, but there is a remastered version titled “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered” which improves the graphics, but lacks multiplayer. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.81/5; game easily makes the top 3 of best COD games.

CoD 4 is a great First person game that got a lot of improvements compared to the earlier series games. Still playable, the gameplay and graphics are epic.

Like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, COD4: MW is a great game, though a bit of an older game. Game’s plot is also enjoyable with a fun campaign mode, and the multiplayer mode was spectacular for its time with a pretty neat leveling system, plus the mode featured killstreaks for the first time. Personally, I think the game’s sequel was the icing on the cake, but this game’s pretty good, too. Kind of old for today’s standard though, but I think “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered” developed by Raven Software is a better pick since it’s improved, especially in graphics, audio, and animations. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.79/5.

When I started playing CoD the 3 and 4 was already out so I played them first it was really fun so I did some search and found 1 and 2 surprisingly I enjoyed 2 as well the gameplay was really good. 🙂

Second game of the series that got so much improvement from the first game, the graphis are so much better, either the gameplay.

Game feels kind of ancient, but it is from 2005. Plot is essentially World War II themed and the campaign seems sufficient. It’s easy to overlook this game today, but this game did receive much praise for its regenerating health system. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this game for newcomers, because there are much better games in the series like Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, but if you’re looking for a World War II themed game, COD 2 isn’t that bad though the game does feel somewhat outdated. But overall, I’d rate this game a 4.5/5.

This game reminds me of Minecraft in 3d lol. The game is a free game but does have in-game purchases with real money. Mainly the activities found in this game is hunting, crafting, mining.

Okay this seems pretty interesting. The graphics are somewhat fine.. The mechanics are like minecraft BUT! i find the gameplay, kinda dull. Minecraft is still way better.

I think the game rebranded itself as Entropia Universe. Definitely an old sci-fi MMO, dating back to 2003, but it has had quite a significant improvement over the years. I think the game uses either CryEngine 2 (as mentioned on the game’s Wikipedia page ) or Unreal Engine (as mentioned on the game’s site), though not exactly sure, but either engine, the game looks amazing. But when it comes to modern MMOs, Entropia hasn’t really aged well in terms of gameplay. Areas in the game can feel a bit spacious despite improvements to the landscape, and most of the game mechanics just feel old. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.9/5.

Proun is gorgeous!! With an aesthetic drawn from 20th-century modern art. It’s a delight to listen to, with an upbeat, jazzy soundtrack perfectly matching its graphics. But the overall game is a bit lacking.

Umm.. There are many games like these one. And theyre far better. So thats a minus point for me. Plus, i dont like these kinds of games unless they had good music or pleasant visuals, which, i didnt like as well in this game

Fun game, feels kind of like other obstacle games like Temple Run and Thumper where you have to react to obstacles around you. Game is kind of basic, but I like how it uses simple geometry like spheres and triangles, and minimal colors. Gameplay doesn’t really offer much gimmick though, other than sometimes showing hypnotic-looking background and patterns. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; I like the concept of the game, but I feel like it doesn’t showcase enough features.

Oh yes Poptropica this is a good game I used to play it, they always had events it was very fun, but if I play it again I wouldn’t like it anymore I did quit cause I got bored after all 😛

Poptropica is a fun role-playing virtual world, and was one of many kids games I played during my middle school years. What I truly enjoy about Poptropica is the amazing platforming and the exploration. I just like how the character does a front flip and gets all happy whenever the he or she jumps. The character displays a lot of emotions which really captivates the gameplay, and the simple designs for the character and background are actually very elegant. My favorite activity to do in Poptropica would always be scavenger hunting and collecting various items, which was really fun to do. This game would really be an enjoyable game for any child. Overall, I would rate this game a 4.5/5.

Can’t find this game anywhere, especially since search results suggest “Play-Doh” instead. And can’t find a video for the gameplay, so I’m guessing this game is very old. A link to this virtual world game (or even some footage) would be appreciated.

I can really only judge this game based on the small picture, which doesn’t help as much since it’s cropped. But looking at the image, it looks like an isometric world with characters that can face eight different directions, and the world has shops like a pet shop and a bath shop. Game kind of reminds me of Habbo in a way, and I’m guessing this game is like Habbo, but less-known. Artwork is alright; characters kind of blend in with the world though. And judging by the description, customization of characters and chatting with friends is a quintessential part of a virtual world, and it’s nice to hear that those features are in there. Also kind of cool that you can feed pets, but I want to know if this virtual world has any other features.

I’d probably rate this game a 2.5/5. Not a whole lot I can say about this game, but the game looks outdated.

Panfu is an interesting MMORPG, because it is aimed for children, which is not very common for this particular game genre. A lot of MMORPGs today are aimed at young teenagers and adults, so Panfu definitely did surprise me when I heard about it. The game must have been heavily moderated a lot to be an online game for children. Playing as your own panda, intereacting in chat, and playing games sound fun, especially in the perspective of a child. The game does look like it would be a great interactive game, especially considering that the game has pets and housing. Although I have never played Panfu before, it is comparable to other interactive games like Club Penguin which is also targeted for children. Unfortunately, Panfu did shut down, so I wouldn’t be able to truly enjoy the game for myself. Overall, I would rate this game 3.5/5 for its appeal to children.

The game is ok, graphics is fine so is the artwork the gameplay hmm a little ok not that much fun for players like me who wants battling monsters or other players but the game is fine. 🙂

I’d have to say this is a pretty decent copy of the sims but no where as near to the quality and number of players like so. This game, has pretty outdated graphics with few choices of customization on ones avatar. Not only that but the interior of buildings looks like something out of a cereal box. This game has not much to do, and the choice of being a virtual world game seems to have no little effect on gamers. I see no one really on this game, therefore I’d have to give it a 2/5.

The game looks cool, kinda copied from Sims but i would like playing it.
I saw that hackers did their job and hacked the game so it’s basically not playable.

Onverse was a pretty good virtual world. Unlike many other virtual worlds I’ve seen, this one was fully 3D and utilized the 3D environment really well. I like the minigames in this game, especially SplatBall which feels more like an FPS game; I think this minigame alone added a lot of replay value to the game since you can have endless fun playing this minigame. There’s also the minigame IceFall which was a spleef arena where you tried to stay on the platforms the longest. This game had a lot of other fun stuff like cars where you can race with other people. Overall, I’d give this game a 4.75/5 for being one of the better virtual worlds I’ve seen.

Game is decent,but it has a lot of “bonus content”,so it could be interesting,i think girls will like this more than boys 🙂

3/5 – One of the more decent virtual games i came across, it’s developed by Nickelodeon in 2007 which is cool but it shutdown.

Kind of a neat game for its time, especially a great way to hang out with friends, chat, and dress up your character. Not a huge fan of the isometric virtual world, but that’s just my preference. Game probably would have been a lot cooler, if the characters resembled Nickelodeon characters rather than normal-looking human characters. Also the Nick Safe Chat was kind of super-restrictive as far as I remembered, so it wasn’t the best when it came to the social aspect of the game. Not sure if this game is still around, but it was quite popular in 2007. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5.

Fun game with a lot of things to explore. Graphic is meh, not really good but gameplay is interesting.

Graphics, gameplay and artwork are all bad as the others say this is a copy of club penguin, I have not played it myself but if the clothes and other items are accessible without paying real money I’ll say this is better than club penguin but if not then it’s worst. 😀

Muniz Online was a pretty good game; it had a lot of customization options for your avatar and it was a great place to socialize with people and role play. It didn’t try to be a dress-up game like IMVU or any of the other virtual worlds. Probably wasn’t as memorable as Club Penguin though, but I thought it was fun exploring maps in the game and just socializing with people. Overall, I’d give this game a 3.95/5.

It’s a virtual world game with interesting gameplay and game with a lot possibilities, i recommend it.

Oml, this game is horrid. I tried it out once as a child, and the whole community is just so cringy. I know it’s a childs game, but many of the players just looks for relationships.

I have seen many advertisements on this virtual world game, but the game never really interested me because the graphics are very simple and the game looks like it is aimed towards young girls. I will admit that the game has an interesting quiz game, but unfortunately it is mostly movie-related quizzes. Being able to make movies sounds fun, but I do not like the dress-up fashion theme of the game so much. This game is not the worst game in the world, but it is definitely far from being the best. It does at least run nicely with no lag and there is some variety of activities to do like arcade, casting, and crazy cards. I am sure there is an audience who would enjoy this game more than me, but it is not the game for me. While being a bit lenient on this game by considering its target audience, I would probably rate this game a 2/5.

Moshi Monsters is an interesting virtual world for young kids, and I have actually seen this game before, though I have never played it personally. I have seen one of my friends play this game, even on the Nintendo DS version, and by the looks of it, the game looks very child-friendly, fun, and interactive. I like the simplicity of the graphics such as how friendly the monsters look and the colored stroke around the character which adds some nice detail. The various mini-games are quite interesting and fun to play as well. Overall, this game is perfect for a child and I would rate this game a 3.5/5.

Full name of the game is “Moonbase Alpha” and this game’s from 2010. Game isn’t so bad, but I think it can get boring, especially if you’re not into space-themed simulation games and the concept of building and piloting robots under time constraints. But it is a multiplayer game where you can communicate and team up with up to 6 players, so the game’s best to be played with friends. And it’s free-to-play, so it should make the multiplayer experience more enjoyable. Personally, I’d rate this game a 3/5.

2/5 – An ok gaming world. What’s good is that it’s free and playable in your browser, no need to download a client or steam to play it.

This game is very old, and I think the game shut down some time in 2012. I’m guessing the game is a mix between a virtual world and a simulation, but it doesn’t really stand out that much in my opinion. Has very basic gameplay with things activities like jumprope and decorating your apartment. Seems more like an early social game to be honest. Artwork also feels like old browser games where you decorate and mix and match your avatar. Overall, I’d rate this game a 2/5.
