Simple game that requires patience. You control the skydiver and you have to perform different formations for all 10 levels. It kind of reminds me of driving and plane school in GTA

From the comments here it looks like a fun maze game but unfortunately the loading screen is always stuck on Infinity% for me. I think converting some of these Ogre games to HTML5 in the future would be a good thing.

I’ve always had a preference for the Xbox controller over PS in any iterations.

I haven’t tried Football Manager but I’ve tried Eastside Hockey Manager, which is a similar managing simulation but for hockey. What’s good is there are a lot of playable leagues and international competitions to dive into.

Most indie based mmorpgs these days aren’t able to survive very long unless they got a loyal fanbase that supports their games via membership or microcurrency.

The only programming language I’ve learned how to make basic games in is Flash/AS3, unfortunately due to the plugin slowly dying I may have to look into HTML5 and PHP

A fun little game that can be played in your web browser, it was developed in 2012 using HTML5 and the developer made it to demonstrate web sockets. Would recommend for a pass time game, but it doesn’t take long to complete

Rex commented on the post, 110 Meter Hurdle Review 7 years, 4 months ago
You start by selecting a character, basically you need to jump over hurdles and to do that you have to hit the targets as accurate as possible, if you miss you need to restart. Each time you set a new high score you’ll have to beat it. Not bad for a simple flash game

Playing games with all consoles and all PCs together would be a huge leap in technology for sure. Just the simple thought of that is astonishing.

Undertale is a game I need to try, my friend gave me a free copy of it on Steam but I haven’t got around to playing it yet

Rex commented on the post, Why the Minecraft Movie Will Never Live Up to the Game 7 years, 4 months ago
I feel like a GTA movie could have success because the game allows for a lot of creativity, but a movie based off Minecraft? That might be hard to replicate. And the fact that Notch isn’t the one directing or taking part it, I don’t think it will be a good movie.

I would also suggest AQ3D if you need a game to play on the side when your brain is fried or if you need a game to take your mind off more challenging games.

Rex commented on the post, Why Gaming Isn’t a Male Only Industry Anymore 7 years, 4 months ago
Yeah I think a focus on both male and female protagonists is necessary in this day and age, that way anyone can really enjoy and get into the game. When I’ve played games where the protagonist was female I remember there being a bit of a disconnect between me (the gamer) and the character I was playing as, so I can definitely relate to how women feel.

Rex commented on the post, How Online Games Overtook Old Arcades 7 years, 4 months ago
Online stuff in general has overtook a lot stuff we grew to appreciate as kids, old arcade spots are one of them.
I still think there’s room for both, going to an arcade with friends or with a family makes for a great evening. -

Fun but easy game and can be completed in 2 minutes. All you have to do is collect as many coins as possible. To open the exit doors you also to need the key.

Really addicting and fun game. You have to avoid or destroy enemies by left clicking on your mouse. Each enemy gives you 5 points or more depending on the difficulty of the enemy. You have 5 lives, after your health bar runs out you either submit score or try again. You can also obtain armor by shooting at objects near the end of every act.

I would also suggest Battle Gems which is irkly similar to Candy Crush if you enjoy that game.
