It’s crazy to see how far we’ve come with technology, it brings me back to the times when I owned a pinball machine and I played it for hours.

Yeah Steam definitely has no competition as far as game clients go.

Yeah mobile has definitely changed the way we play games now, with a phone you can play games anywhere even if you’re not at home. Although the quality doesn’t reach that of a PC or console, I believe one day it will get there.

Simple game, hold and release the spacebar to get a good jumpstart when it says “Go” and keep pressing the right arrow key to run faster. The shorter time it takes you to get to the finish line, the better your score is.

Basically you start off by choosing 1 of 3 vehicles (not sure if there’s any difference in engines) and you have to race 5 different AI opponents. It’s very easy to win the races, the AI isn’t that good. The only thing you should focus on is the time it takes you to finish each race. The music in the background is very repetitive but it brings…[Read more]

Rex commented on the post, Online Games Versus Offline Games 7 years, 4 months ago
I enjoy both online/offline. Offline mostly for the campaign/story and online for the competition it brings. I think most people nowadays tend to gravitate more towards online games since you can play alongside or against other people in the world.

I’ve played the ultimate team mode in NHL 17 but I’m assuming it’s the same concept here. Buy low, keep them and sell when their value rises.

For beginners I would also suggest a flash browser rpg like DragonFable, that’s where I started. Its storyline is compelling, animations are amazing, definitely one of the best flash browser games out there.

Rex commented on the post, Ogre Combat Review 7 years, 4 months ago
The game is simple that’s what’s good, you have 5 lives and you have to kill the amount of enemies it tells you to kill to move on to the next stage. Also you start every stage with 1 spear that you can throw at an ogre enemy. One thing I found pretty hilarious is that you can kick someone 2-3 times and they will start bleeding to death.

Decent game, easy to play. I think the biggest problem I have with this game is lag and it makes hard to dodge the incoming alien ships. I’m not sure why I get bad frame rate when I play this when the other games work fine.

Online gaming communities are great, it help unite the players. I used to be in this gaming community (well, it was more of a clan) we were selected by the official game’s representatives and we would have to go around helping players with questions or tasks in the game like questing or killing bosses.

Rex commented on the post, ! Dots Review 7 years, 4 months ago
Probably one of my favorites in the GameOgre arcade. It’s pretty simple, all you have to do is collect the small or big red dots and your score will increase. If you touch the purple dots it’s game over. The yellow dots are the bonus ones, it will either make you invisible, slow the game, or you’ll be able to collect many red dots for a certain…[Read more]

Definitely going to have to invest in a CyberPowerPC one day. I was thinking about building one from scratch but I feel like it would take too much time and resources for me that I’d rather just buy one pre-built.
