Everything can change when given enough time! Mobile gaming sure is one of them.

Never really thought about cold weather in Scandinavian countries having such a role in shifting people to online gaming. Kind of makes sense though, because I personally wouldn’t want to walk outside in frigid weather, and it’s cozier inside a building.

ogreman wrote a new post, Free Online Games Still in Demand 6 years, 3 months ago
Yes, free online games are still around in the year 2018! The free game landscape looks nothing like it did 15 years ago, but it is still definitely there. For example, you can play a wide variety of Ben 10 […]
-
They will just keep coming, but quality seems to be out of control time to time considering the fact that they are free to play.
-
Interesting Ben 10 Games. I remember playing these kind of games when i was younger. I was a big fan of the cartoon~
-
I have also watched few episodes of it and i liked it.
-
-
They’re definitely in demand, but most “free games” today aren’t totally free at all, and it’s especially true with the rise of mobile games (plus it’s an opportune moment for developers to pump out new “free” games while browser games are on a major decline, to captivate the interest of a different gaming audience). Most “free games” today are really just freemium games, and I think there are a ton of obstacles today that bar games from actually being free such as licensing fees (e.g. fees for commercial use of a game engine), server fees (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.), hosting/publishing fees (e.g. hosting an app on the Apple App store), etc.

ogreman wrote a new post, How to Choose The Perfect Gaming Gear 6 years, 4 months ago
Everyone knows there’s more to PC gaming than having a good computer and games to play on it. This gaming computer is surrounded by a plethora of accessories and other gear to give you comfort, control, and e […]
-
I haven’t really bought anything fancy gaming accessories, but maybe i will in the future.
-
Definitely great things to consider, but it’s also important to research gaming accessories for yourself (is it suitable for your desktop environment, is it ergonomic, is it within your budget, is it something you’ll be comfortable using for a long time, etc.) and even try out those accessories if even possible.
For instance, it would kind of be unfortunate to buy a keyboard that’s too large to fit in a keyboard tray (if your desktop environment has a keyboard tray), and so you might want to consider getting a keyboard without the programmable ‘G’ keys or getting a keyboard without a Numpad. Or maybe you like wireless headphones, but then you realize that you’re not totally comfortable with Bluetooth, so you might consider some sort of hybrid headphone (that you can use both wired or wireless, which could be handy if you play games privately and in public spaces) or just stick to a wired headphone. There are various factors that impact decision making when it comes to getting the “right” gaming gear, and even gear that’s considered “the best” might not suit you.

ogreman wrote a new post, 5 Best Retro Games of All Time 6 years, 4 months ago

-
I have only played Pac-Man and Mario Bros out of these games on this list.
-
I think the best retro games are the newer games that take a whole lot of inspiration from older games, like Shovel Knight for instance. If I play games like Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda, the controls feel worse than controls of newer games, and I think it’s mainly because of newer hardware but also because improvements happen over time. Sure, those games were revolutionary, but maybe not the “best”.

Well, there’s some games to choose from! I am not IOS user myself, but those who are do have some interest to these i hope.

Of all of the games on that list, I have to say Asphalt 8 was probably the most incredible. So much attention to detail (something you’d more expect from PC or console games), all of that on a device that can fit in a pocket.

ogreman wrote a new post, Is PC Gaming Still Popular In 2018? 6 years, 5 months ago
PC gaming has been a staple method of play for millions of people across the globe since their creation. From epic MMORPGs and online casino games ready at the click of a button to the less flashy but equally as […]
-
Popular’s a relative term, and it just depends on the demographics. Like for younger kids, maybe mobile games and console (particularly portable console) games would be more suitable, especially since younger kids do have smaller hands (which would make using a keyboard a bit clunky) and there are simply too many parental controls you’d have to set up if you want a child to play PC games (since you probably wouldn’t want them surfing the Internet).
But in general, I think mobile games are becoming more popular than PC games. Although there are more games on PC, it’s just so convenient to visit a public space like a coffee shop and play games from a mobile device. Plus phones are generally more affordable than PCs.
