Im more into PSs. Havent had an x box o my own before but after reading this, maybe Im missing a lot. However, I dont think Im one of those serious gamers the article is talking about. Im just casually playing games, have to think about if this is worthy for my case.

You should stick with PlayStation then if you just play casually so no need to get another console.
-
-
Got one since the black friday deals bought it from home depot.
-
I hope that it was a great bargain!
-

It is indeed a good console with good specs but i am more into Playstation consoles myself considering it is the gaming console series that i started with and in this case i started with PS2.
I am pretty casual player so i donβt seek for a hardware upgrade right away and i give it time before i decide on getting said console because i attend to be happy with what i got and entertainment value of my current PS3 has still not faded at all so i will just stick with it for time being.

I’m not sure this will ever catch on, but there’s always a possibility

Not into this thing. I have a lot of devices to choose from, not necessarily wanting another one. I feel like they just added this even tho how simple it is just to add more specs.
-
yeah the type of games you could play on this are probably very limited anyway
-
I would just have a regular wristwatch and use a smartphone instead.
-
-
cool smartwatch i have one but i can’t play game on it, i only used it for exercises like recording my cardio exercises.
-
Neither do i because i don’t really need one.
-
-
I have not heard much about smartwatches but i don’t really see this being a good platform for games. I would rather play on a handheld console compared to this.
-
Yea the screen size is too small for my taste.
-
What ? Haven’t heard a smartwatches that you can play games ? XD
-
-
Never thought smartwatches would have games of their own, though I probably wouldn’t play games on smartwatches personally, because they’re just too small. I think the real gimmick of smartwatches is having your own personal virtual assistant (to play music, track health, or help with certain tasks).

Without broadband a lot of the sites we use today probably wouldn’t exist. The only advantage I can see with dialup is that it’s cost efficient.

Thank the broadband

Internet connection has been much of a reach these days unlike ten years ago. The cost and speed have also been improved at least for my country but still not as good with others.

Indeed.

Yeah the speed has definitely increased, I think more people today have wifi more than ever before.

Thank to broadband internet Electronic Mails existed which sends file or messages to ur love immediately, compared to old times wr mails are delivered in days.

Exploring history can be quite interesting!
-
Lmao same I was born in 1998 XD it’s probably good to try the internet that time
-
-
Nice to learn some history now and then. I would think players during that time would be weirded out in buying things for a game. Like, why would you buy something for a game? Lmao
-
I’d love to go back and play the first online game
-
It would be interesting to experience the history!
-
-
most of the old games was released in 90s
-
yea there’s not too many games from 80s, that was likely when they first started testing and developing software to make games
-
-
Well MMORPG’s have gone a long way to the present day and many things have changed along the way.
I wasn’t even born yet when the first MMORPG came out and my own personal interest towards MMORPG’s started when i found out about Runescape in 2008 when my buddies told me about it. -
I still have my old games using emulators.
-
I think it’s difficult to determine what the first online game was, because we use “online” to mean something different today than what it may have originally meant, particularly to mean “connected to the Internet” in our modern sense rather than the general meaning which is “connected to a network or to another computer”.
If using the latter definition, you can probably trace “online” games back to the 60s when the ARPANET was still around, maybe even as early as the 50s before computers supported time-sharing. Most of the games would have probably been Terminal-based games, mostly as text (probably categorized more as text-based adventure games where you play with a series of decisions, or a decision tree). This would have been before MUDs were around; still text-based, but not so much about dungeons. These “online” games around the 60s to the 80s would mostly be limited to the military or to academia, so not really adapted for modern use.
The Internet would be the successor to the ARPANET, first originating in 1983, but the World Wide Web wouldn’t be around until almost another decade when computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee invents it in 1989. In the 1980s, you already have MUDs which carried over from the ARPANET and were quite popular, but you also had some more graphical-based games around which started to emerge around this period.
And it’s hard to say what the first online game even was, or when it launched, because there’s not really much record on games connected to the history of networks. But most likely, it would have been some sort of text-based game created in universities. Would be hard to have a popular online game at that time though, because most people wouldn’t even own a computer; even Macintosh computers of the 80s were seen as a luxury product.

EWin Gaming Chair is an interesting chair; I have seen a lot of Twitch streamers with chairs similar to that one, and I think the EWin Gaming Chair is a lot better than an office chair because of the head support and various adjustments. It is definitely a great chair to have, if the player intends on playing games for a very long time.

It sure is a good looking and comfy chair. Cleaning it also is more easier compared to my current chair but i don’t think i will be replacing mine anytime soon, maybe after it breaks and then i will get a new one.

Yep, VR is really testing how it would work out and there has been some progress already.

Yea I think VR will need some time to build an audience for it, right now it isn’t that mainstream but I’m sure soon it will be regularly used.

In theory, they are making something increbdible but the execution is way off. They want to incorporate everything like in 007 which resulted to a boring game. While, the harry potter was just a disappointment.
-
That does happen with games time to time.
-
-
I wasn’t a fan of 007 Legends either but other James Bond games like Nightfire and From russia with love were pretty good.
-
Shrek games do have a bad legacy of being bad (it doesn’t mean that there isn’t any good Shrek games) and consider the fact that there is a lot of bootleg Shrek games out there just proves the point further.
Some movie based games have actually nailed it and some of them just missed the mark. One decent game that i can recommend that was based on the movie is Stuart Little 3: Big Photo Adventure for PS2 and i suggest you to check out if you are interested.-
Indeed nice statement.
-
-
So you like these games despite the fact that they are bad? That’s interesting!
-
I’ve say Jurassic world is worse lol ..
-
Main reason why these games even exist is mainly for promotional reasons. If people buy the games, then they’ll probably also watch the movie, and the same vice-versa.
I think the reasons why there are terrible video games based on movies is because of (1) promoting products require timing, because you probably would want a game and a movie to release at around the same time, (2) it’s sometimes difficult to license a product/franchise/etc. to a reputable company, and (3) there may just be challenges in trying to develop a game or a movie, especially if there are complexities that don’t translate from one product to another.

Along with the increasing popularity of smartphones, people have started using the mobile gameΒ platforms. Plenty of mobile apps are available out there for the people who are interested in online gaming to try. […]
-
Well for me, these mobile devices are really just another opportunity to try out new games in a different way. I usually look at the GB or MBs on the game and before downloading. Also, I just look at the recent reviews on the app before hand. π
-
Yea usually i tend to be more careful with GB or MB only when downloading mobile games, with steam games i just look at the compatibility
-
It certainly would be problematic to get an app and you don’t have space for it.
-
-
I only use/keep apps after i test them out…it usually goes like this:
1)I need to do a certain work so i search for an app to help me do it.
2)I find a lot of apps but which one is the best??
3)Pick the apps with the most stars and best reviews first.
4)Start the Testing!!
5)Delete all apps that you didnt like and keep the one that suits you!!!And there you go my way of choosing apps!!!! π
-
I dont actually prefer any game genre so Im mostly trial and error in choosing games. But I do have general rules, I dont like games that are pay to win in the extreme case aka Mobile Strike. I also spend money on games but I want it only on inventory expansion/potions etc. and such other things. My new mobile game as of now is “Last Day on Earth:Survival”, which is similar to Rust but on mobile with zombies!
-
It’s good to explore different opportunities when mobile apps are concerned.
-
-
I am not really concentrating on getting mobile apps for my phone that much because i don’t really have need for many. I don’t really play games on my phone either but i do have few apps for my phone that i actually want to have like QR code reader app and authenticator app.
-
I am only need aq3d , coc , clash royale , discord , fb , messenger on my phone π
-
-
“Best” is subjective, and it’ll vary from people to people what app is considered the “best”. Only way to know what the best mobile app is is to try the app for yourself, and I usually start looking for apps by popularity, because that’s usually an indication that it’s a good app. It can be a bit harder to search for games on the app store, so I tend to narrow it down by genre, sometimes even searching the genre I’m looking for.

Agreed on the custom service part. Usually with most online or mobile games I’ve played I’ve always had to contact the support team when I had an issue with the game itself or a payment i made, luckily most of my issues were resolved within 1-2 business days.

It’s great that customer service is working nicely so you don’t have to wait forever to get your issue solved!

Ohh , :hilarious , Nice , but im not buying a games now since some game were removed that I paid a lot for it, hehe π

I’ll take the notice of using the ‘ Looking for Deals,’ especially since I’m also trying to save money up for bundles.

I will forever remember those payment options! Keep in mind when choosing the mode of payment, they wont always cost the same. (aside from the extra fees, Im talking about discounts) Other methods sometimes give discounts based on the service center. So make sure to check em out! However, customer service is a top priority for me because a bad CS is almost being scammed and not knowing what happened to your transaction.

With every passing year comes even better mobile games. And 2017 is no exception, having seen impressive game releases so far – and weβre only halfway through the year!Β Hereβs a rundown of the most popular 2017 […]
-
So far I’ve enjoyed Pokemon GO and Super Mario Run for 2017’s popular mobile games. A lot of my friends have played Pokemon GO, and I like that Niantic has added Johto Pokemon into the game not too long ago. Super Mario Run is incredibly well-made since you can play with just one hand, but also complete objectives like collect the pink coins; the downside of Super Mario Run is that you need to pay to unlock the other levels, but at least Nintendo was nice enough to let any players try out some of the levels.
-
Out of all of them i tried Pokemon GO and i must say i was disappointed… The game crashes/freezes sometimes, its battery consuming, there are not many stations or Pokemon in my area/country, my phone overheated when i played it for hours (not to mention that i overheated from walking as well :P) though that might be the phones issue.. No duels or stuff like the GBA Pokemon many of us grew up with.
All in all its a disappointment (for me at least)…
-
It’s an alright game but no my cup of tea, if i was a kid i’d probably enjoy it more
-
-
I disagree with the Fifa mobile game. I know it’s a brand from EA games, however Pes mobile is one game beats all mobile Soccer games. I recommend looking future into the game.
-
It’s good to hear that there is variety in that category.
-
-
Woah ? Don’t know this one? But this is the best ! A version of Mario , really nice π ill play this game later on.
-
Have you already played it and if so how was it?
-
-
Pokemon Go is the only one Im aware among those listed. I had mario kart marked on notifications when it was released but decided not to download it as I was done with those kinds of games. Maybe different regions have different breakout games.
-
Pokemon Go sure was popular and it’s somewhat popular right now, but not as popular as it was when it came out. I have seen other people play it and it didn’t really click for me, but regardless it’s a nice game.
-
Yeah the hype died down compared to when it first came out

Definitely something to look forward. I wonder if already existing games will ever consider going to VR too.

That’ll be a lot of rework but some games would be so much better with it

I’ve always want a vr set I might get one just to play some of these games.

They sure are pricey.

Soon this virtual reality will take over most simulations for schools and jobs. I’m sure many jobs would use this for training or prep

There are such simulations out there already and the amount of them are just going to increase.
-
-
If there is a vr set giveaway, Im very much interested! But it is too costly for me to buy those well built sets. π

-
I will definitely take up that strategy when playing Pokemon with friends
-
Pokemon Trading Card game is a good card game to try out.
-
-
I have never played a card game online but I should definitely try it.
-
Another genre Im not having fun with. Even though I have friends that are much into cards games, Im just not into it. π maybe playing it online would make a difference
-
I am not really a card game player but i do enjoy watching them being played.
Card games are one of those games for me that are more enjoyable to watch rather than playing them.-
Same here, i prefer watching card games being played rather than participating. Same thing with chess
-
-
Want what? Play a game?
-
Card games are pretty much like strategy games when you really think about it. You have to make a choice and also figure out what the best play is, sometimes even doing mental calculations (probability and statistics) or guessing an opponent’s move. It’s true for classic card games, TCGs/CCGs, roguelike deckbuilders, etc.

Got these two already but wow, more items in the futureee yes! Maybe a gameogre set is closer than we think. More power gameorge and artix. π

This is my review of both items above …
1. For cleaver, this weapon has a very unique and interesting shape. This weapon can make other players pay attention to you and wonder where you got it?
As a unique weapon, you must have this weapon …
2. For Cape Leather, Cape is like the previous cape gameogre but with different colors and slightly different designs. This Cape also includes a unique cape …
So I think you should have both items above if you really like collecting unique and rare items π -
I really like both the items because they are unique especially the Cleaver…
1st- Cleaver : It is too big and it really stand out. it is really Ogre-ish and it is so awesome and i really like it…
2nd- Cape: The cape is cool too and the color is nice, but i think it is just a rescaled of the old ogre cape but it is kinda thicker than the old one… But overall , i like both items, it both have a logo of GameOgre xD… -
This AQ3D item that been created by gameogre is really cool, a huge axe in AQ3D for the first time π , thats why i really buy it xD , havent buy the other one bcux i think gameogre cape red one is much better, i guess? I think bcux gameogre cape is colorful for me? But anyways, theyre all cool , nice . Hoping for more aq3d items π

The cleaver is good but I think it’s too simple I don’t mind the logo but they could’ve at least gave the cleaver a little bit more of design, as for the cape thr logo isn’t that visible cause of the color combination so I don’t use it often the previous GameOgre cape is still better.

This is my review for both items.
1. The Ogre Cleaver of Boom…Well the name speaks for itself. Stats wise I don’t think it offers much, but if you want to set yourself apart from the crowd, then equipping this axe along with your set is for you.
2. The Leather Cape is a nice addition to add to your cape collection, especially for those that missed out on the first cape, this serves as a nice replica. The brown-ish color also gives it more of a Ogre feeling. -
Looks good

The Cleaver is kinda … Special but.. The shape is complex makes you wonder how it actually works :3
And as for the cape… It’s cool, neat.
-

I really like these exclusive forum items that you can get for AQ3D and they shout out word OGRE without hesitation. I really would like to get that Ogre Cleaver of Boom because it stands out the most for me.
-
I’m hoping for some type of Ogre head or helmet next. It would be cool if the designs people make from contests were used as inspiration for items.
-
A pvp system is definitely needed, especially one with a leaderboard

The best part about Agar.io is that it’s HTML5 and you can play it in your browser or phone. I remember playing it for the first time in 2015 and it was quite addicting.
It’s pretty good coding language to go with.
I dont know why dota 2 is not included. PUBG should also be on the list as it just topped dota 2 as the most played game in steam recently.
Ye I would’ve included games like Dota 2 and Overwatch but overall great list.
Where’s League of Legends?
league is definitely one of the top ones too
Great article
:O
Why do you think it’s a great article?
CS:GO popular as usual with a lot of rich customers who buys skin to look cool , btw great article.
I expected to see Overwatch to appear here, it sure did and obviously CS:GO and WoW as well. I have heard about Agar.io, but i didn’t really get into it after watching some gameplay of it. Agar.io sure has a simple concept and it has proven to be quite successful because of that.
Not a top game but I’d say AQ3D is one of the most underrated games this year, on mobile.
150% agreed. This game is getting better everyday ! Just compared aq3d at 2016 from now !
Overwatch was certainly popular in the year 2017. As for Agar.io, I didn’t feel like that game stayed that popular; certainly was popular in 2015 and 2016, but I felt like other io games like Slither.io was more dominant than Agar.io.
