  • Online games have become so much more sophisticated in recent years, sometimes rivaling what offline games are capable of. The technology that is used in these games is pretty intense and it seems that it will be […]

    • Very true, online gaming has really changed for the past decade. Now with virtual gaming, who knows what is next in the next decade.

    • More and more children are growing up with online games now.

    • Online games are pretty mainstream already

    • HTML5 is still an early piece of technology, especially for games. Even though Flash Player is now gone, there aren’t really that many browser games emerging. I think for a lot of new game developers, there’s a bit of a learning curve to HTML5, because most things have to be built from scratch, and it’s just easier to have a game engine that can cut down some of the complexity. I’ve been seeing more Unity browser games lately, but not to the degree of popularity of Flash games.

  • MMO or massively multiplayer online games are mostly known for their complex levels and missions where a large number of players compete against each other. But perhaps you didn’t know that not only regular v […]

    • Agreed, Mmos are really knowned for its complexity indeed . 🙂

      • Yep mmos i’d say are mostly reserved for hardcore gamers, if you don’t have a grasp of gaming i’d say it’s better to stick with the more simple games until you enjoy them enough to move on to bigger games

      • There are many things to remember and play around with!

    • Money is hard these days. Whoever invented this play and earn concept was a genius. However, these “MMO money games” doesnt sit well on a mobile device unlike other MMO “play only” games. Due to the fact that incorporating mobile devices will force a lower graphics for the game because of a phone’s capacity and when money is involve, we always expect the best. 🙂

    • I’ll check it out~

  • The emergence of online multiplayer games during the last ten years or so has taken gaming – which was already a very popular leisure activity – to a whole new level. The rise of these kinds of games online has […]

  • From World of Warcraft to DC Universe Online, MMORPGs have changed a lot in recent years, but clans and guilds aren’t going anywhere. Here’s why.
    Casual Is Good
There’s no denying that MMO games are getti […]

    • Great work… i really like this article, coz its all about guilds or clans… WElp MMORPG is not complete without Guild… 😛

    • Same games have unofficial guilds where they arent recognized ingame but set themselves up in other platforms such as discord.

    • This article was good the old school purists might grumble about glory days of WoW or Guild Wars and be annoying, they might have their reasons why for them the changes was bad or not that good. 🙂

    • Yeah, clans are always a great feature to have because it helps unite people with the same interests

    • Platforms like Discord, skype and social media are also good alternatives if there are no guilds.

    • Guilds and clans sure are good ways to bring people together and do actives with. There are guilds/clans for games that don’t have official ones yet just like AQ3D has Discord guilds but that will change in the future when guilds get officially added to the game.

    • Same but who knows how long thatll take

    • I’ve always seen guilds as being an important aspect of MMORPGs, especially for raids and boss fights. And it’s especially nice to have a clan or a guild, when you’re playing a game that isn’t so popular, because you could just invite guild members to play with you.

    • I would use Bitcoins as currency but none of the games I play have that option for making payments. Maybe sometime in the distant future

    • I’d say mobile gaming is also another noteworthy trend in recent times, the new generation seem to be more interested in mobile games.

    • I have been looking into Esports but in this case i have been following fighting game Esports a bit.
It’s interesting to watch two people with a lot of mettle to fight each other with those characters they can pick.

    • VR gets too much hype in my opinion. I think motion control has been the biggest trend in gaming in recent history, yet quite underrated, because it’s changed how people play games (by making games less sedentary), and it’s even made VR more enjoyable. By motion control, I mean like the Wii remote, the Switch Joy-cons, certain VR controllers, and even smartphones to some extent.

  • Featured Online Game of the Week

Bayonetta is an action game that was recently ported to the PC on Steam.

    Screenshot:

    Game Description and Comments:

Although the game is currently on fire, […]

    • Great Article.. The only problem with this game right now, is … there are also new games that are released right now.. Example of the is Nier Automata…. but welp.. we can say that this game was cool based on the Features posted…. Hope i can play this game soon… 😛

    • Looks like a cool action video game dunno why but it reminds me on Prince of Persia,I suggest it everybody

    • These features are cool, its a potent game .
I’ll suggest this game to play 🙂

    • Bayonetta game will be dope. I’m so hyped.

    • oh, this is cool

    • The game is awesome:) just watching the gameplay is cool the graphics is good I like the art design not sure if it’s popular but this game is definitely worth a try right now:P.

    • I happened to watch my cousin play this game once. I was amazed by it!
First of all- Witches! I like witches! I wanna be one too!

The battle system – from what i have observed, the flexibility of the battle system is appealing to me. In fact its very much appealing that i wanted to play it too.
      Its awesome.

The graphics… So far, it has pleased my eyes. From battling to cutscenes. Theyre all A-Ok to me. I totally approve!

Although i havent seen the whole story, i can say it is most likely great as i have seen some parts.
Its a really awesome game. And i would rate this 8.5/10

    • Pretty cheeky animations for this game. The game does have decent graphics for running on pc. However, the uis and the sound effects needs more work. However, the soundtrack is one of the best I’ve hear as well, like Fly me to the moon.

    • The games graphics look great kinda gives me the feeling of Castlevania but with a girl and guns!!!!
Also there is an anime out there for anyone who wants to watch!!!

    • Not entirely hyped with this being played in pc because I’ll definitely still play this with a controller. If I own a console then this would be nothing and definitely an old game, eight years old to be exact.

    • A game with female chick as protag ingame character that’s a total badass.

    • Nice RPG game lots of girl character xD the graphics are also good
      4/5

    • Pretty nice action game. Decent graphics being able to play on the PC and it runs quite well. If you like witches and chicks then you should probably check this game out. Its not really a game I would play because I don’t quite care about anything relating to it. Overall I give the game a 4/5. It’s a decent game just not one for me.

    • Bayonetta is an action game that has many fights with many things to dodge and you got many attacks to use against your enemies. You can also get upgrades which can change your play style. The game itself looks very nice to look at and the music is great to listen to while in the heat of battle. I am going to give this game a solid 4 stars!

    • Welp its nice , but almost all are talking about financially… What about your own life? your family? Family can also cause Gamers to broke , why? it is just simple.. Almost all old Gamers stopped gaming to focus on their own family and for the future of their kids… or maybe im just wrong lel… maybe i just misunderstand this article… 😛

    • The impulse to buy when you suddenly get extra cash is very REAL. And the article can actually be generalized and not only for gamers but for everyone.
And may I quote the last line. 🙂
“Remember, taking care of your money today means taking care of yourself tomorrow.”

    • This article was nice 😀 now I know what happens to the other gamers I only play free games since I don’t have money 😛 this article can help me at the future.

    • Agree on money planning and choosing wisely. I used to be the type that would buy games unwillingly without thinking about the future, but when I buy a game now I always ask myself if the game is worthwhile and if it’s something I’ll still be playing years down the road.

    • I play free games and when i am going to buy a game, i will check the game out by watching gameplay out of it and then i think how much entertainment value can it provide. If it is enough i will then buy it and of course i will check the price tag first.

    • trying to get maximum specs for their pc

    • Nice Article.. But to be honest… Some of the mobile Games that you mention are not popular now.. Maybe they put a large impact to the people but right now, they are not. CoC and Pokemon Go are not so popular like the few months they have just released… Welp.. I can say that all the PC games that you mentioned are all popular and good… Welp… Its really true that gaming really improves in the past few years until now, and even a new gaming device was already released .. The VR and in the next few years it will be pretty popular to all gamers i think… 😛

    • LoL dominates online PC game? I think Dota2 mate

    • @Jebus Edrei Actually I think LoL does dominates online PC game I don’t hear dota 2 that much anymore.

Anyway I haven’t heard of Rocket League so I’m not sure if it’s really popular like the article says other than that this article is good .

      • Rocket League is pretty popular, especially on twitch a lot of streamers get a lot of viewers from streaming it.

    • Virtual reality gaming will definitely be something to look forward to in the next couple years.

    • The variety of platforms gamers can play games on are so far ranged. Hopefully, games will transfer to some new consoles. It’s remarkable how far technology got to in 20 years.

    • More games, more platform variety, older games becoming cheaper and etc.

    • full body vr maybe

  • Why Online Games Are All The Rage

With gaming catching up across the world, online games are becoming a rage in countries where there are very few places to play games. Contrary to classic games, there are m […]

    • WElp… this is a great guide for beginners… Minecraft was really a good example, but when i started gaming , i started directly with Online Shooting game like KOS Secret Operations XD…. lel.. 😛

    • My first was mu online as my friends were playing it then i started in dota1 lan games then transitioned to Garena which was online. But if you consider my younger years, cartoonnetwork.com and disney was the BOMB.

If you are looking to play online, I suggest you play with friends to make it a lot more interesting. 🙂

    • I agree that Minecraft is the best game for beginners to start with these days I think it’s one of the most simplest and not simplest game :D, but like Awen i started gaming with K.O.S. too it was famous in my country that time and I didn’t have a problem understanding how the game works my friends as well so I am confused why beginners this time have a hard time playing I even see some stopping then facing right then they’ll start walking 😀 .

    • For beginners I would also suggest a flash browser rpg like DragonFable, that’s where I started. Its storyline is compelling, animations are amazing, definitely one of the best flash browser games out there.

      • Same here . But it’s really depends which one do you want … Sometimes it’s good for you to decide not comparing urs from them 🙂

    • This sure is a good article regarding to this subject and there is a lot of online games out there to try and play. Minecraft is a pretty good starting point for online gamer’s journey. I would say Adventure Quest (it is a RPG game that runs on Flash on your web browser) is also pretty good to start out with because it was one of my first online games that i have played.

    • Well for a game like Minecraft, the way I would begin playing that game is by using the Minecraft Gamepedia to understand mobs, crafting, etc. Beginner’s guides will vary from game to game, but finding a resource like a Wiki tends to be helpful, at least for me.

    • Great Article ogreman… this is good so far to be honest… 😛

    • I think most new players started with free games? But the older generations might have started with payed games since the computer was still being developed back then and piracy was at its infancy. It was only now that developers realized that there is still market with free games, like popularizing your website for advertisement or even selling account informations. 😱

    • One of the good article I’ve read about free online games 😛 I started with free games just cause I don’t have money to spend for the games that cost 💰 and still don’t any :D.

    • I started with free games, I remember playing a lot of the flash games at Arcade Street and Miniclip when I was very young.

    • Nowadays most free games are played on mobile devices, that’s where future generations will probably start at.

  • In the past where PC game companies were able just to launch their own MMO or online games themselves and deal with gamers directly, 2017 is a completely different animal with online game services. Yes, there were […]

    • I just realized how Steam is so successful. I don’t even remember the other platforms mentioned. Somehow, Steam has become the default game client. The daily discounts and weekend deals is such a great idea, you are tempted to buy more. 😵

    • Yeah Steam definitely has no competition as far as game clients go.

      • Steam is popular and it has a vast collection of games to buy and there are millions of daily users so it’s not surprising why it doesn’t really have any competition at all.

    • Thanks for the info on steam, I’ve been using it alot lately.

    • Steam is a pretty good online game service and popularity of it is pretty high with barely no completion to match it’s mettle. When i want to look for a game, it is most likely there.

    • For years, Steam seems to have been the most popular service. There have been some competitors like the Epic Games Store, which have moved some developers away from Steam’s service, but seeing Steam’s recent device, the Steam Deck, I feel like this handheld PC will bring in more developers as well as bring back old developers that may have moved away from Steam.

    • The thing I dont like about cash rummy or any other betting platform, is the minimun payout. You need to have a certain minimum account to withdraw your winnings. This forces you to bet more even after winning a nice little game/bet which could have been profitable without the boundary. I guess both player and client just wants to make the most money out ofbit.
