Unlike most Online RPGs Renaissance Kingdoms takes place in a realistic setting. Instead of fighting dragons or spaceships players in Renaissance Kingdoms test their wits […]

    • This one’s actually not bad. Kind of cool that it’s a browser game, and it’s also playable on iOS and Android. The game dates all the way back to 2004, and is still playable today, so I’m guessing the game probably uses HTML5 rather than Shockwave or Flash. But because this game is kind of old, it uses navigation buttons outside of the main game window which I’m not really a huge fan of. But aside from that, the game looks pretty good; the site itself has a colorful background and the overworld in the game window looks pretty good. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4/5.

Voyage Century is a free 3D MMORPG with a nautical theme set in the late 17th century. Pirates play a major part in the game as should be expected since they are one of the […]

    • It’s an okay game, nothing too special. You start off the game by choosing one of four playable characters with the option to customize hair color and face and then you get to choose one of five professions early into the game. Game has very basic questing at the start, but it seems like there are thousands of quests, so that’s good. It also has WASD controls which is nice for a 3D game like this; no annoying point-and-click to deal with. Graphics is a bit outdated, but it is an old MMO from 2007, so it’s on par with other MMOs around that time period. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.7/5; it’s actually not too bad, but probably not the kind of game I’d play considering the game just hasn’t aged well.

    • Thang Online is a free MMORPG video game with awesome 3d graphic,it has interesting gameplay,I suggest it everybody

    • Kind of old; I think this game was released back in 2005. Graphics isn’t the worse, especially for 2005, but the game hasn’t really aged well. Also classes are gender-locked, and you only have three playable classes to choose from. You can’t even customize your character during character creation which is also kind of unfortunate. Gameplay feels average, and it looks like you have to use a mouse cursor to move your character through the overworld in an almost top-down view. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3/5; game’s not that great.

R.O.S.E (Rush on Seven Episodes) Online is a MMORPG with cartoony graphics that features seven different planets. Each planet has it own set of particular environments rules […]

    • Game might have been released in 2005, but it looks really great; it’s rich in vibrant colors and the 3D models aren’t that bad. Game was originally pay-to-play, but I think it became free-to-play when the rights to the game was given to Gravity Interactive. I like the concept of seven planets as worlds to explore, but I don’t think every planet has been incorporated into the game. Game does have four basic classes, and the classes can be upgraded to secondary classes, so that’s kind of cool; classes aren’t as big as in other MMORPGs, so it’s kind of average. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.25/5; it’s a really great MMORPG, but far from the best.

Exteel is a free futuristic MMO shooter with a third person view by NCSoft. Instead of grinding levels against monsters players pilot giant mechs known as Mechanauts in order […]

    • Looks like a pretty good third-person shooter. Really like the sci-fi theme, especially with the mech characters (Mechanaughts) which are also customizable. Game has your typical shooter game modes like Death Match, Team Death Match, CTF, and a mode called Territory Control (which is described as being similar to Battlefield). Unfortunately the game shut down its international servers in 2010. But overall, I’d rate this game a 4/5; the sci-fi theme with the mechs is really the most interesting part.

Ghost Online is a 2D side-scrolling free MMORPG that will undoubtedly draw comparisons to Maple Story. Both games are side scrolling and have 2D cartoon-like graphics but […]

    • Seems average. I probably wouldn’t compare it to Maplestory for graphics since the characters just look tiny in the overworld, but it does have side-scrolling elements. I feel like Windslayer is closer to feeling more like Maplestory than Ghost Online is. But the graphics is pretty good; I really like the attention to details in the overworld and even the subtle animations like the clouds, animals, and monsters moving. Gameplay seems pretty standard for an MMORPG; nothing too unique that stands out. Doesn’t seem like the game was that successful since it did shut down in 2009, but it was re-released in 2012 as Soul Saver Online; personally, I would just stick with Maplestory for a 2D sidescrolling MMORPG. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.33/5.

GunBound is one of those games that is a little hard to categorize. The game offers cartoony graphics like a console platform game but also offer turn-based online combat […]

    • It’s kind of a cool game. Not as fun as action-based games like Brawlhalla since GunBound is only turn-based, so it’s much closer to games like Atomic Tanks and Scorched Earth. I think technically, this game belongs in the “artillery” sub-genre. It can get boring after a while though, but the graphics in this game’s pretty good. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; I think there just needs to be more features in this game to elevate it and be different from the typical artillery games.

Minions of Mirth (MoM) is a free 3D MMORPG with a few interesting twists. First MoM can be played as a single player game or as a MMORPG. Very few games offer this choice. […]

    • Aside from dated graphics, game seems to have quite a lot of content. From what I’ve seen, the game has 12 races and 16 classes, which is pretty impressive for a fantasy MMORPG this old. Also has other aspects of MMORPGs like realms (1 of 3 to choose from), crafting, tons of quests, and much more. Game looks fun, if you’re looking for a ton of content to play through, just not graphically impressive. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.1/5.

    • Quite an old game. Even for a game that was released in 2007, it’s not that great. Despite being a 3D game, you have to click on the overworld to move around. But gameplay-wise, it’s pretty good. Game has quests, dungeons, mounts, shops, and PvP. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; I think it’s just average.

    • Looks pretty fun. Kind of reminds me of Dance Dance Revolution since you have to press the right combination of buttons and time it right as well. Also like that there are anime characters dancing in the background since that makes the game feel lively, especially with the music playing. Not sure if you can upload your own music for this game, but that would definitely make this game worth playing for years. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.7/5; it’s the perfect game for those that really enjoy music.

Knight Online is a free MMORPG with lush 3D graphics set in a medieval world. It should be noted that Knight Online’s 3D graphics are somewhat of a rarity in the genre since […]

    • Doesn’t seem too bad, minus the dated graphics with poor textures, but to be fair, the game dates all the way back to 2002. Game seems to have a bit of a story, since after creating a character, the game transitions to some cutscenes; and it seems to have 13 chapters worth of story looking through the guides section on the Steam page for this game. PvP seems to be the game’s main strength though, and there also seems to be a faction system where you can choose between El Morad or Karus. Might be a game worth looking into, but the dated graphics is really the main disappointment. But overall, I’d rate this game a 4/5.

    • Free to play MMORPG game with 3D graphic, this game had huge potential, but it isnt anything special right now 🙂

    • I like the combat system other than that everything looks the same as others the 3D graphic is fine so is the gameplay. 😛

    • This MMORPG looks very old, and I think it actually originates from 2001. Surprisingly, you can still play this game, but it feels heavily outdated. Character models look very clunky, and there’s not a whole lot of customization. For instance, you can choose a handful of characters, but you can’t customize hair, skin, or anything else, and the classes are gender-locked. Overworld graphics is alright, though it’s often blurry and feels low resolution, and the combat is decent. Game does have a mini-map, so I guess that’s one really good thing about the game, but for the most part, there’s not a whole lot impressive things. Overall, I’d give this game a 2/5.

    • Very good RTS game, good gameplay, but graphic has to better,it is fun for playing because it has a lot of modes so you wont get bored so easily

    • Pretty good RTS, I would say. Graphics might not be the best, but it looks much better than games that predate it like Age of Empires. Vanilla gameplay is alright. But I think what makes Glest pretty good is that the game’s fully moddable, with the most popular forks for modding being Glest Advanced Engine and MegaGlest. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.85/5.

Archlord is a 3D fantasy MMORPG with the interesting premise that a player can become the supreme ruler of the game world aka the Archlord. Every month one player will rise to […]

    • Pretty good game, although graphics are a bit dated now. I like how the game allows you to choose your own race (human, orc, and elf), but I’m not a huge fan of race-locked classes. For instance, humans are locked to archers, knights, and mages, orcs are locked to berserkers, sorcerers, and hunters, and elves are locked to swashbucklers, rangers, and elementalists. I guess it’s not too bad since classes do follow a similar structure. One thing that does seem kind of interesting from the description of the game is that a player can become an “ArchLord” for a server, and the ArchLord has his/her own castle, dragon mount, and other features; sounds like a fun idea for an MMORPG, but I’m not sure how that’s managed, especially since the game’s over a decade old now and the game was shut down in 2014. But overall, I’d rate this game a 4/5.

Eudemons Online is a free 3D fantasy MMORPG with a unique pet system that really impacts the way that the game is played. Similar to Pokemon you raise eudemons to protect you […]

    • Looking at a video of Eudemons Online in 2021, I am honestly quite impressed at this game. The character creation starts off really strong, featuring the character in a map full of animations (such as seeing leaves and grass blowing), and you can customize your character’s class (choose one of 5 classes), face, gender, avatar, etc. But jumping into the gameplay, it’s just not as exciting for me; the character spawns in an isometric overworld and the control uses a mouse rather than WASD keys. It’s just a different style for an MMORPG, but when considering that this game dates back to 2006, I think it’s impressive all of the work put in to making the game feel more modern with clean graphics. In other words, the game looks much better than early screenshots of the game. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.7/5; isometric 2.5D MMORPG might not be interesting for me, but the graphical improvements is more than I expected for a game this old.

    • Guessing this one’s the game developed by Hellbored Entertainment since that one seems to fit the description. I think it’s neat in some ways, especially since it’s a browser game. But it’s not really fun since it’s more like the early 2000s web games almost like Neopets and some social avatar games (where you just navigate through links in the website), just without any special gimmick. I’d rate this game a 2/5; it just doesn’t live up to today.

    • Space Cowboy Online is an awesome free to play MMO video game, gameplay is solid graphic is solid too,I enjoyed playing this game:)

    • This game’s changed its name a lot. Used to be called Space Cowboy Online, but changed its name to Ace Online under the publisher Suba Games and then AirRivals under the publisher GameForge. But as for gameplay, it’s actually amazing; I really like how you can pilot your own starfighter and just fly around in the overworld in full 3D. Game also has PvP with 1v1 duels, 6-player formation battles, and nation wars. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.75/5; it’s such an amazing concept, especially for a 3D sci-fi space shooter.

    • 2D game with not so good graphics, game has open world but i can’t get into this game it looks to me very ridiculous

    • Seems like a successful game considering this game spawned sequels such as Horse Isle 2: Legend of the Esrohs and Horse Isle 3: Infinite Wilds. Horse Isle 1: The Secret Land of Horses looks kind of neat, especially with the pixel art graphics. It feels more like a 2D RPG, but with a huge emphasis on horses. Unfortunately, the game did experience issues with hackers, and the end-of-support of Flash Player did kill this game. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3/5; I think the sequels are worth considering, especially Horse Isle 3: Infinite Wilds since that game has 3D graphics, doesn’t rely on Flash Player, and is more recent (being released in fall of 2019).

    • Very underrated MMORPG….
Looks similar to Metin2, gameplay is very nice, good character customazation is very nice feature
PVP is very good i like it and you should try this game it’s free

    • Game’s described as a medieval fantasy MMORPG, and although the name of the game references the Greek God of War Ares, the game doesn’t have much connection to Greek mythology for theme. Instead, Ares is more emblematic to the fact that this MMORPG is PvP-oriented, hence the war theme. Classes in the game seems pretty good, especially since the classes have their own skill tree system. Guilds seem to also be an integral part of this game. However, I wouldn’t recommend this game at all; although it’s available for download on Steam, the game is pretty old (dating back to 2006) and the game servers seem unreliable since they seem to always be offline. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3/5, mainly because the game servers aren’t maintained.
