I really like combat system in this game, but i most like community. Community of this game is one of best community i have ever met. You know, community is very important,if you get bad expirence on first playing, than you wont play much longer. My suggestions

Seems kind of interesting. Not sure if it’s the exact same Lands of Hope or if it’s a sequel, but there’s Lands of Hope Redemption which has its own Steam page. It’s a 2D RPG with MMORPG elements, so I’m guessing it’s Lands of Hope, just with a rebranded name. Graphics feels quite old-school, but game seems like it’s chock-full of content. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.8/5; game is not exactly my taste, but it seems like it would have been a fun game to play in the early Internet days.

Doesn’t seem too bad. Character models look kind of clunky, but at least there are customization options. You can pick out which race (human, sylph, shura, and sprite) and customize attributes like hair, face, head, chest, body, hand, and foot. As for gameplay, my biggest complaint is that text is just hard to read. And despite being a 3D game, you have to left-click to move around instead of using WASD keys, so I’m not a huge fan of that. Despite those downsides, I kind of like the oriental theme. But overall, I’d rate this game a 3/5; there’s just too much clunkiness in models, text, and controls that just bogs this game down.

Game feels a bit dated, especially when it comes to graphics and artwork. Graphics/artwork just doesn’t really emphasize 2.5D that well since there aren’t shadows, and objects like trees and buildings somehow feel out of proportion. Nevertheless, this game might be great for those looking for an old-school RPG experience. Doesn’t seem like any feature particularly stands out, but it is kind of cool that this game has features like player-owned homes and pets. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3/5.

Looks cool; full name of the game is Luminary: Rise of the Goonzu. Graphics is really nice, especially the anime art style for characters and NPCs. Gameplay feels old-school since it is 2.5D isometric, but also feels a bit more casual than other MMORPGs since it has things like its own economic system. But you also have traditional RPG elements like defeating monsters, questing, and crafting, so that’s also nice. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.9/5; for a game released in 2007, I wish it wasn’t an isometric MMORPG, but the graphics and theme are the things that really stand out.

For a game that dates back to 2006-2007, the graphics are actually amazing, and it’s the first thing that I noticed. The game even won a 2006 Korean Presidential Award for Best Graphics, so definitely well-deserved. The theme is quite unique as well, since it’s a bit of fantasy with some theme based on the Baroque time period. Game music is pretty remarkable, and that’s not something I could say about most MMOs. Gameplay seems quite bountiful with tons of areas to explore (with waypoints to save locations), a bunch of quests, PvP, and much more. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.8/5; this MMORPG seems quite underrated as it’s overshadowed by other popular MMOs, but I think it’s totally worth checking out since it kind of feels ahead of its time.

For a first expansion to LoTRO, it seems very reasonable, and definitely a good start for this MMO. This expansion introduced a few classes like Rune-keeper and Warden, had plenty of amazing raids, introduced new regions to explore like Eregion, Lothlorien, and Moria, had over 600 quests, and much more. In other words, this expansion pack was quite content heavy as you’d probably expect for any major MMO expansion and also rich in story to the Lord of the Rings lore. I’d rate this expansion a 4.8/5; content is just bountiful.

Not bad for an MMORPG that was in open beta in 2005 and was released in the U.S. in 2008, but far from the best when it comes to MMORPGs published by Aeria Games. The dated graphics just don’t live up. Gameplay seems to be mainly centered on questing, PvE, and PvP which seems pretty average for an MMO. Game does encourage teamwork though, especially for challenges and dungeons, so joining a tribe is ideal. But overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; game just doesn’t stand out as much.

Seems like a cool MMO; kind of hard to find since Fury is a pretty common word and this particular game is old making it quite obscure, but this is an MMO developed by Auran. Game might be from 2007, but Unreal Engine 3 really makes the graphics shine, especially in the cinematic trailer for the game. The game is largely good for PvP though, but I feel like it’s lacking in MMORPG elements you’d find in your traditional MMOs. But overall, I’d rate this game a 3.6/5.

One of the first mmorpgs ive played!! I literally learned of mmorpgs and all their basic knowledge from MU!! There are 3 basic classes to choose from and after you level them up 2 more opened up for you to create!!!
I always played with Grand Master (mage) which was my favorite (the way he looked in his gear and his skills). The wings and shinning armors/weapons in the game always attracted me to it.. I remember skipping school in winter only to go with my friends and enter some dungeons in the morning at a net cafe!!! Ah good times!!! I rate it 4.5/5 -
I’ve tried MU Origin, but not MU Online. But looking at MU Online, the game looks pretty fun. The game is from 2001 and features an isometric world, but the graphics seems pretty good for a game this old, especially since the game uses adequate lighting and has a distinct-looking overworld (with flowing grass). Not a lot of classes to choose from at the start of the game and doesn’t appear to have customization, but you do get a ton of character slots. Gameplay is also a bit like Diablo in some ways, which might just be from the hack n’ slash combat and the isometric camera view. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.44/5; pretty solid game.

Not a special 2D RPG. In fact, it’s plain boring as it looks. Might as well just play ragnarok :3
Well i dont say its that bad but..
Thumbs down for me. -
This game dates back to around 2003-2004. Graphics-wise, it’s not so bad; it’s an isometric 2.5D game, but the textures are pretty good and you even have shadows (like next to trees) to make objects kind of stand out more. Game has plenty of characters/classes to choose from, and the story which takes place in the continent of Prandel seems kind of interesting. Game does seem like it’s often compared to Diablo, so I’d imagine the gameplay would be just as good. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.2/5; seems pretty good for a game this old.

Pretty good MMORPG. Just looking at the character creation screen, it looks like there’s a good variety of classes, but not so much customization. Classes are gender-locked (e.g. Fighter/Summoner/Priest locked to male and Ranger/Sorceress/Arcus locked to female) and race-locked (Arcus is locked to Dark-Elf while every other class is Human). World map isn’t so bad, and the game has a ton of quests and other gameplay elements. There’s nothing that really stands out as much compared to other MMOs. Overall, I’d this game a 3.9/5.

Game dates back to 2004, but looks quite modern; the overworld itself actually looks nice since it has actual grass and it uses effects like fading of objects from a distance. I think the biggest strength of this game is that it’s open-source, so the game is community developed allowing for such improvements. Character creation is nice; you have four races to choose from (Fyros, Matis, Tryker, and Zorai) and can choose gender, body, and face. I also like that this game gives you keybinding for movement to support different keyboard layouts; and considering that the game is developed by the French game development studio Nevrax, it makes sense since those developers probably use an AZERTY keyboard. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.5/5; for a game this old, it seems pretty good.

Seems pretty cool. The art style is alright; I feel like the game tries to overdo textures, especially in the leaves of trees. Game has plenty of customization, so that’s really good. Also pretty good amount of quests and overworld locations like caves, deserts, ice caves, etc. From what I’ve heard about this game, the game did have issues with griefers blocking paths like bridges, especially since players couldn’t walk through other players, so that’s not really good. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; game looks kind of casual.

Pretty good game, especially for those looking for a sci-fi MMORPG that isn’t “just another simulation game”. I like the name of the game, because in a lot of MMORPGs, you really do start the game off with a clean slate and the name is quite fitting for this game. Combat is a bit closer to a third-person real-time shooter game though, and I like that. I also like how missions in the game vary depending on how the battlefield is going; the dynamic missions make the game seem more interesting that static missions of traditional MMOs. Classes in the game use a tree system, so that’s cool. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.5/5; this game is better than most sci-fi themed MMORPGs I’ve seen.

While the graphics are nice, the gameplay, plot, characters, and etc are completely terrible to any number of other FPS games. Sadly the gameplay become all the more linear as the game progressed (follow path, shoot aliens here), all the way to the end. This game is simply not fun to play once the player continues on progressing. Overall rating has to be a 6/10
-
Okay. I’m not fond of alien involved games. But so far, i loved watching my brother play it. I don’t know how he feels about the gameplay. But for me it is exciting. The aliens are massive and scary too. The graphics is a great point for it.

Hmm.. The class determination is somewhat unique. Great 3D MMORPG. It’s worth a try c:
-
Seems alright. Game has decent amount of character customization, but mainly color choices. Overworld textures aren’t that impressive, but it’s an old MMO after all. I kind of like how you start the game off with your own fairy though; makes the game feel a bit more fantasy-like although the dull colors don’t really give that vibe. Game does have rotating cameras, but controls are point-and-click. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.33/5; not really the best fantasy MMO.

A bit of a bizarre MMO. Characters are dressed in Japanese school attire; seems like RAN Online is more school-themed, which is just very uncommon for MMOs. Combat feels more like a beat ’em up than anything you’d expect from an MMORPG or RPG. I would probably classify the game more as an online fighting game than an MMORPG just from the combat, but the user interface is much like you’d expect for an MMORPG. Overall, I’d rate this game a 3.5/5; interesting concept, but I don’t think the fighting elements blend well, especially with the school theme of the game.

Looks amazing. Game might be from 2007, but the cel-shaded graphics is on another level, making the game look more modern. Not sure how I feel about the black outline around the character model since it makes everything feel cartoon-ish, almost comic-like, but not quite; art style feels almost similar to Borderlands, but I think this game looks way better than Borderlands’ own art style. The Chinese mythology in this game is pretty neat, and you have three factions to choose from (Tai, Xun, or Wu). Also pretty neat that this game has mounts and pets. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4.5/5; biggest highlight of this game is that it just looks beautifully made with its own unique style.

Lol in-game marriages are also found on this game. This memoryg is one of the few with a sense of its own creativity. It’s not half bad playing it, however, the game has a great skill system and I’d rate this game a 8/10.

Almost another average MMORPG for me. Nothing special, it isnt bad either. Its just the type of MMORPG that is playable but due to many games of these types of games.
Although, i liked it. Its fun going on another adventure again <3
Thumbs uppy~ -
Seems like an alright MMO; not too impressed with it since it’s isometric 2D and the animations can look a bit clunky. Features like in-game video chat system and automation / robot system seem pretty cool, but just unnecessary. Video chat system could be convenient, but there are already other (and better) means of connecting with players outside of the game itself. And personally, I feel like grind in an MMO is meaningless if in-game automation already takes care of that for the player. Overall, I’d rate the game a 3/5.

Good game for spending time, nothing special
Looks pretty good. This game is in 3D with excellent graphics, rich in colors and detailed with things like actual blades of grass rather than grass textures. Gameplay feels nice as well, almost comparable of the Diablo series, and just full of dungeons. Really solid game, just unfortunate that this game had to shut down in 2010. Overall, I’d rate this game a 4/5.
