  • The year 2020 brought us some thrilling video game action. Game fans enjoyed top quality fun from industry leaders as well as new game studios. Now 2021 promises to bring us even more thrills and spills, […]

    • The line-up looks great , always great to find some gems .!!

    • Seems pretty good; not as much selection of games since this article was published early before big announcements like E3. But after watching trailers from E3, I think the game I’m most excited about is Metroid Dread, since the Metroid series has been kind of under the radar for about 20 years.

  • Playing games online is an exciting pastime activity. Virtually everyone plays or has played online gaming.

Many online games require you to sign up before you can enjoy their benefits. Others do not require […]

  • Video games are normally seen as time-wasters by some people yet they have tangible benefits on your life. They have a great positive impact on your life which makes video games one of the best activities to spend […]

    • I think boosting vision would be pretty difficult, considering a lot of people tend to stare at their screens all day and neglect the 20-20-20 rule for preventing eye strains. It’s so easy to get trapped in a game for hours.

  • Retro Bowl, one of my favorite mobile games, has recently gotten two new updates. Oh boy, are they good. Sure, some of the features are somewhat minor. But others (around 90%) are back-of-the-box features for any […]

    • Mobile retro gaming needs to reintroduce Mutant League Football ! Was originally on the sega genesis .. was gem indeed –

  • New Star really went above and beyond, didn’t they? Yes, yes they did. At least, for an update that came relatively fast for the amount of content. Man, this was an update! One flooded with features and detail to […]

  • Classic games are exuberating. The feeling of playing a brick game or snake cannot be replaced by even the most viral video games invented today. If you can get a professional to do my programming homework you […]

    • Find a Nokia brick and play snake.. load up DoS sandbox and enjoy Oregon trail , ski free and more .. such basic but memory inducing games !

    • It’s actually pretty easy to find an old device that can play retro games at a cheap price, but the experience isn’t the same as playing on newer hardware. For instance, I can find a 3rd generation iPod for a pretty cheap price and play games like Brick (Apple’s version of Arkanoid or Breakout) and Parachute, but the iPod’s click wheel is just weird to use.

But sometimes you don’t need older devices or refurbished hardware to experience retro games. Like on my spare time, sometimes I dual-boot Linux and play BSD Games (a collection of games available for the Linux terminal).

  • Video games. It’s hard to deny that they are one of the most innovate and influential mediums of the 21st century. Games such as Minecraft, League of Legends, and Spelunky defined the 2010’s poignantly. PC Gaming […]

    • I agree , it was a different time then.. 8bit was the after school special and we had it in spades… decades later we still find games to paying homage to the pioneers of video entertainment!

    • Angry Birds, Temple Run, and Paper Toss are all games I’ve played in the early 2010s; it was really the emergence of free mobile games that allowed their popularity to grow, but I haven’t touched these games in years. Nowadays, there are just so many games on mobile devices these days (and quite frankly, a lot of them are plagued with ads). Even some Flappy Bird clones are filled with ads every time a game ends, and it’s really the ads that stop me from playing mobile games.

  • We’re all looking for that next big step in gaming, the next leap that will take us into more immersive, more exciting gameplay – whilst there have been many suggestions that this next step could be in virtual or […]

    • Mobile gaming has came a long way , and has gained a substantially large client base… though sometimes beautiful pieces of work , I find mobile games lacking in what I desire .. a good week or months play then it becomes stale –

    • I don’t think virtual or augmented reality will be the future of mobile gaming (it’s just hard to see that, especially augmented reality where Pokémon GO is declining in popularity and Minecraft Earth is ending), but rather newer hardware and innovation.

Like for instance, foldable phones are a thing, and I feel like there’s a lot of potential games that could take advantage of the screen space that foldable phones offer (like using the other half of the screen for controls as to not cover up the game itself, or offer more controls), but the reason why foldable phones haven’t change mobile gaming is that large mobile phone companies (such as Apple where around 45% of the world uses an iPhone) haven’t caught on to creating foldable phones yet, and so it would just be a niche market to cater people with foldable phones. But I hope to see foldable phones take off one day and become the norm; that would definitely transform mobile gaming.

    • Mobile gaming has advanced but I feel the whole VR setup could show some rapid progression .. though you have a smaller field of sales , this could ignite into a cross platform beast later on , can’t wait to find out !

  • Let’s face it, and gaming isn’t something that everyone can do. If you’re a newbie or experience a spree of losses, you need expert advice before indulging in full-time gaming in an expert view. Most gamers make […]

    • My mobile and Pc gaming experience stays sorta mainstream , but digging up a nice fresh indie game helps from turned based to tactical , sometimes you never know what you have until you try it !

    • Untitled Goose Game’s probably the best indie game of 2020, just because of how creative it is (the goose being obnoxious in a comedic way) and the memes that have spawned out of it. And there’s some pretty good replay value out of the game as well.

    • People have always craved competition and social engagement in activities.. since the good old days of retro 8bit gaming and arcades.. Online gaming has created a solid foundation in culture and life , I see it only becoming more of a demiurge of social entertainment

    • I think bonuses are pretty good, but it does largely depend on implementation. But generally, I do kind of enjoy being able to log into a game everyday just to claim some kind of bonus, and I think it’s just a good strategy for game developers to adopt to retain their players. As long as there’s some kind of incentive, that’s usually a good sign of an active game, and I’m sure more online games will adopt the idea.

  • The European government is eyeing the video game market. Recently, the EU Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection published the results of an investigation on the topic of loot boxes. The document […]

  • In League of Legends, everyone knows the game is competitive every season, so anyone who wants to achieve high ranks must invest time and be patient.

There is no perfect player in League of Legends. Everybody […]

    • I think playing competitively while tilted creates poor performance in a game. Like when you lose a game and you grow frustrated, sometimes continuing the game just puts you in a terrible losing streak, since you’re so focused on the loss rather than the objective of the game. I find that taking a break after a loss is often better than continuing a game, since it gives you more time to reflect. Even the best players know how to control their mood when they mess up or lose.

  • Video games have always been popular to some extent, although some generations preferred them more than others. However, contrary to popular belief, games are no longer reserved for the youngest consumers. Today […]

    • High-quality titles is probably the biggest reason why I enjoy today’s games. You have a mixed bag of all kinds of games to choose from, from the familiar first-party titles that have been around for ages to the third-party titles. But probably what’s been exciting over the years is seeing the growth of Indie games.
