  • Japan is one of the homes of modern gaming and so it is no surprise to see that millions of its citizens enjoy playing titles online.

Here is a look at the games that are currently leading the way in shaping […]

    • I did expect to see Overwatch and Hearthstone on this list.

    • League of legends and overwatch are good choices. Haven’t really checked the others yet.

    • Almost little to no difference to what American demographics play, since these games are pretty much universal. I was kind of anticipating that some game I’ve never heard of filled with Japanese text or anime characters would make the list, but I guess that’s just too specific. Or at the very least, more games with Japanese publishers, but I am a bit surprised there aren’t a whole lot of games by Japanese publishers on the list; Monster Hunter World by Capcom makes sense though.

  • It’s time you stopped scrolling through your social media apps and make your free time more productive. How can you do that, you ask? We have just the right answers for you. Ever heard of making real money using A […]

    • There are also apps which help you save money and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to look up some of them.

    • Google Opinion Rewards isn’t exclusive to Android. As far as I know, it’s been around for iOS since late 2017, though the service may not have been available for certain countries. I like Google Opinion Rewards, but the service is far better on iOS devices than on Android, because you could transfer your rewards over to PayPal (iOS) instead of Google Play (Android). The surveys can be somewhat infrequent; I think you get better results if you travel a lot and if you live in a highly urban area.

  • When homework is done, why not relax playing online games. From fantasy to sports, there are top online games popular in 2020 that all students should try.

Top popular online games students play in […]

    • If it’s free then a student who is fond of games is going to at least consider trying it.

    • I’ve played a few on that list, especially pubg and minecraft and they’re really great games.

    • Kind of surprising, because when I went to school, most of the popular online games students were playing were mobile and social games. I guess when you don’t have to carry around miniature computers (phones) all day, you can just play games on your own computer and have more freedom to play games you want, especially during lockdowns.

  • What is a video game knife?

Knives come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors already, but video game knives take that a step further with being as outlandish as possible. Take the ones in the picture […]

    • Some of these knives are priced in thousands of dollars and that’s just insane to think about, but when you are able to make an in-game economy around them then it doesn’t sound too far fetched.

      • Oh wow that’s a huge amount, but then again I guess people must be going for it for their own reasons or collection.

    • The bizzare knife really does look amazing!

  • While in a period of confinement, idleness could await you and invite you to play online games on sites like Official site Casino X or binge-watcher series, this time could perhaps be used to restore order in your […]

    • This global epidemic that is going on right has lead to people having to find ways to spend their time inside their homes. My guess is that things are going to stay like this for a long time.

      • I agree, it’s a good time to connect with yourself and with family and to do things you’ve wanted to with so much time in your hands.

  • Don’t worry, Fortnite isn’t going anywhere

Recently, #RIPFortnite has been trending. However, there isn’t a single reason for all the uproar. It’s just being used as a general catch-all tag for various […]

    • Every game during it’s existence will experience a situation like this. “This game is dead” players shout and developers are like “What are you talking about?”. These kinds of situations attend to be exaggerated most of the time when a game is very popular.

    • I think there are a bunch of random things that trend on Twitter (some are expected, but others tend to be unusual), and sometimes certain things trend to garner attention, cause virality, bash a game franchise, create some form of activism, etc.; it’s just part of Twitter’s strange and broken ecosystem and their poorly implemented algorithm.

Like for instance, the moment someone sees “#RIPFortnite” trending in their country, you’ll have opponents saying stuff like, “What do you mean #RIPFortnite?” or “There isn’t a #RIPFortnite” and those hashtags, even though they’re being used in opposition, just feed the Twitter algorithm more and create a cascading effect, and eventually the hashtag starts trending worldwide.

  • With the world taken over by the coronavirus pandemic, everyone seems to be keen on promoting social distancing. Now, the gaming industry is also doing its bit to promote social distancing. Technology and video […]

  • Easter in 2020 is going to be different than any other before as due to the coronavirus we will all have to celebrate it locked in our own homes. With nothing else to do, lots of chocolate eggs will be eaten and […]

    • I would rather play games with Easter-themed events compared to something that just focuses on a single thing.

    • Some of these may be simple but they seem fun for a change

    • I think they’re interesting, though they aren’t exactly the kind of games I would necessarily look for. I feel like younger kids would play these kinds of games. Personally, I’d be more interested in Easter-themed game modes (something intricate like prop hunts).

  • The online game industry continues to exceed all reasonable expectations. According to a report recently submitted to the UK Gaming Commission, more than 10.0 million UK residents are gaming online on a regular […]

    • Rockstar has given freebies in Grand Theft Auto Online to players to pull them in.

      • Rockstar’s latest move of giving away GTA V on EGS for free was huge and also pulled a *lot* of players into the game

    • Welcome bonuses have always been a nice way of engaging with newer players. I’ve been noticing more games that have them, and I think it makes sense to have welcome bonuses because it gives newer players more chance to learn about a game and also encourage them to stay longer since players will often feel compelled to try out those bonuses to experience the game.

  • Modern students can not imagine their life without computer games. They just jump in them with both feet and rarely remember to devote time to the real world. If you think that it’s impossible to find games to h […]

    • Hearthstone is all about numbers and finding solutions to your problems.

    • Human resource machine sounds very interesting !

    • These games seem to be helpful for the younger generation too

    • Very basic games for studying. They probably wouldn’t help much with getting through studies of more advanced concepts, so I really see these games being more suitable for younger kids that are especially unenthused with learning; like maybe a kid isn’t interested in learning biology, but playing Spore sparks interest in learning biology.

If you really want the best games for studying, I think the simulation genre is the best genre for that. For instance, I know some physics students that play with Universe Sandbox, when they’re stuck on physics homework, and playing this game kind of jogs their mind.

  • Being a student who feasts on knowledge all the time is stressful and exhausting. Sometimes students entertain themselves playing online games. The most intelligent students know how to not only spend money on […]

  • Studies have revealed that video games can actually help children to develop crucial intellectual and emotional skills and these help to enhance academic achievement. Below we will highlight how exactly video […]

    • I learned a little bit of English by playing video games before I started to study English. They can help you develop skills early on and learning a language can be one of them.

    • Online games and their communities have helped me develop confidence in social interactions and good online behaviour too

  • Do you remember your Commodore 64 that took forever to load games recorded on those little cassettes, and each game was some new surprise and a treasure chest just waiting to be opened? One of those games you […]

    • Tetris is so popular that there are many different versions of it out there with their neat little gimmicks.

      • that’s true. There are so many versions of Tetris that you would have to write another long-read article to know all the details. Check out Wikipedia’s list 😛 Seriously though, I like seeing their new adaptations for the new generations. Like the Hello Kitty one, it’s so cool to see such a fundamental game being reborn again and again! I grew up playing Tetris and I always remember feeling soo excited when I was allowed to play this game! How cool is it that younger generations get to have it. This list is missing one thing: Microsoft Mahjong! This game is a legendary one and so many games have been based on its logic!!

    • I would’ve been too young to experience playing Rocks’n’Diamonds, though I think I’ve played games similar to it. It’s so easy to find clone-games. But Tetris is definitely a game I remember; it’s so simple yet so fun. You have many variants of Tetris (NES Tetris, Tetris Effect, etc.), it’s the most popular game of all time, and there are even Tetris tournaments held annually.

    • @Heromangyu12 that’s true. There are so many versions of Tetris that you would have to write another long-read article to know all the details.

  • Our gaming habits change over time and with this we see the sway of what types of games are on top – a little over a decade ago, the time of the MMORPGs came. In 2004 we saw the release of the biggest MMO title in […]

    • MMORPG genre is still alive and there are good MMORPGs out there like Final Fantasy XIV Online and The Elder Scrolls Online. World of Warcraft is also relevant with the release of World of Warcraft Classic and there is a new expansion coming to the retail version called World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. I will also mention Runescape because Runescape 3 version got a new skilled added to it called Archaeology. Runescape also has a classic version which goes by the name Old School Runescape and it should explain itself pretty well.

  • Many of us have seen a huge upheaval to our social lives over the last few weeks, and it’s not quite clear when the end will be in sight. Fans of sports were among the first to start feeling the social impact of t […]

    • I have heard of this “virtual” boxing and it’s just normal boxing but without an audience. A global epidemic like this will lead to such solutions to solve a problem. Esports will definitely see an increase in viewership because a lot of people are stuck inside their homes.

    • You have to do what you have to do, I guess. Lockdowns have made it harder for people to play or watch sports, and it just isn’t the same these days because it’s easy to feel disconnected. I feel like sports are on a major decline, because there hasn’t been a lot of sports out there (due to many cancelled events) and many people aren’t even allowed to engage in sports despite being beneficial to good health, whether for fun or for competition. Like if you can’t attend a soccer match or play a game of badminton, is there really any point to tuning into sports anymore? Virtual sports is definitely an alternative that’s been around for a long time, but it just isn’t the same.
