  • The market for online PC games is increasing as more people are looking for games to be played during their free time. As such, here are some of the trending games in Asia:

    Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds ( […]

    • It’s not surprising to see these games here because they are good!

    • I feel like CS:GO and PUBG are just popular worldwide, and not just Asia; it’s sort of expected considering there’s a lot of overlap in regional and national popularities when it comes to popular games in general. I was thinking more of games specifically popular in Asia than the rest of world, games like Nexon’s MapleStory.

    • Valve Corporation has developed and introduced another game which is called as DOTA 2

  • It seems like game developers push the technology to its limits with all the new game designs and they are constantly looking for upgrading the whole gaming experience. The gaming industry has been rising in […]

  • If you want to know more about your favorite browsers, then you have found the right article. Google Chrome has plenty of interesting features that most people ignore. Experienced users know how to customize this […]

    • Hotkeys are going to help you a lot!

    • Hotkeys are definitely useful especially in gaming. I use adblock also for chrome.

    • Some of the features Google Chrome has are features that Firefox also uses. For instance, Ctrl + Shift + T also works in Firefox which opens the last closed tab, and Ctrl + ‘+’ and Ctrl + ‘-‘ also works for zooming in and out of web pages. For that reason, if you’re used to Chrome’s features and shortcuts, it shouldn’t be hard to transition to a browser like Firefox.

And Chrome is a huge resource hog. If you’re playing a game and you have a browser running in the background, Chrome is probably the worst browser to use just because it uses up a lot of processes. Firefox is a better sweet spot, when it comes to browsers, and it uses its own Gecko engine rather than Chromium based engines. Plus Firefox has some of its own features and extensions like the Firefox Multi-Account Containers which is good for privacy.

  • There is an endless amount of fun activities you can do online when you’re bored. Here are some fun ideas to keep you entertained online.
    Play classic arcade games
Revisit a time when smartphones didn’t exi […]

    • Play games you haven’t played in a while.

    • I don’t have a problem with boredom playing online it’s mostly griefers or cheaters or people that send you bad messages.

    • Starting a YouTube channel is kind of a make or break situation. When you start uploading gaming videos, for instance, don’t expect to gain a lot of traction in viewership; it’s a long journey unless you have strong connections, like with developers, with other popular YouTubers, etc. And you also have to consider video editing which could be fun or boring depending on what you enjoy; it might be boring rewatching stuff you’ve already played through when editing a video.

Creating memes is pretty easy. Not a fan of imgflip or some of the meme generators from websites, because they tend to use their own watermarks. I tend to use any of the Adobe products for editing images, but you can also opt for free and open-source software to edit images like GIMP or Krita. Even MS Paint can be somewhat useful, but generally for low quality memes.

  • Last year loot boxes became a controversial topic among gamers and concerned parents, leading several governments to consider measures against them. The controversy was prompted by the release of Star Wars […]

    • It’s not great to have real money combined with surprise mechanics because that will lead to empty wallets.

    • I’m sure lootboxes predate Overwatch, just that it wouldn’t have been called lootboxes back then, and that Overwatch popularized the concept. Video games have, for the most part, been a business model and most likely someone else has had that similar idea.

But the problem with lootboxes, in my opinion, is that it’s just bad gaming. You spend money just to get an item that you have no control in choosing. This tends to encourage people, especially kids and young adults, to act recklessly into spending more money until they get the specific loot. And I think the best thing that could happen is games getting marked as rated M, but game companies will always try to find loopholes.

  • Mobile World Conference (MWC) of 2019 is the largest mobile conference in the world where lots of things still yet need to unpack. All eyes of the players are on it to see what would be the upcoming new […]

    • Let’s hope that future will be brighter with this new mobile technology.

    • 5G and foldable phones haven’t really exploded, and I think it’s partly because people aren’t out buying phones each year. I feel like the average phone purchase would be every five years, so maybe time will tell how things will go in the long run.

Foldable phones, I don’t think that would be the new norm until Apple starts jumping into that market. And it doesn’t really help Apple when a company like Samsung has already patented the idea, so foldable phones are, right now, more niche and more like bleeding edge technology. Plus the biggest hurdle with foldable phones is trying to compartmentalize parts onto a phone, and I don’t think Apple will want to sacrifice long battery life and its camera technology just to have a phone you can conveniently fold for me free screen real estate, though I feel like the biggest hurdle would be battery.

  • Introduction:

Old School RuneScape game is one of the most loved games online. Old School RuneScape is published by Jagex. You can play Old School RuneScape game by installing RuneScape game client. It is […]

    • If you stopped playing Runescape after 2007, you should give OSRS a shot!

    • I think the main reason is nostalgia, and that tends to happen with older games. But when you show a newcomer an older game, it’s kind of hard to convince them to try out something like Old School RuneScape, because they’re so used to more modern MMOs.

  • The clicking of pieces, the little playing arena, the roll of the dice, and the flip of the cards. There is just something energizing about tabletop games! From Warhammer, Gloomhaven, and King of Tokyo to Ticket […]

    • Many tabletop games do require you to make some calculations on the fly.

    • I think tabletop games just bring a different level of interaction compared to online games. Plus in contrast to online games, it’s not as boring to wait another player’s turn, because you can see their face and body language, and not just a screen. For instance, playing UNO online vs. playing UNO in-person, it’s a lot more fun playing it in-person, plus you can also shift the rules of the game a bit in-person, while for online, you have to play the game as it is.

Plus it’s also fun to cooperate on tabletop games compared to online games. For instance, Forbidden Island (which is featured in this article) is a great game to cooperate in, because it’s really a team game: players have different roles (engineer, navigator, etc.) and every player has to work together by finding the pieces to escape the island. It’s a bit more challenging to cooperate online, especially with random faces, than with friends in real life.

    • My nephew keeps talking to me about mobile gaming, and although it’s very practical it’s not for everyone. I’d rather sit on my couch and play games on my PS4 whenever I’m in a gaming mood.

    • Mobile gaming does have its problems and it deserves a better future.

    • I think mobile is the future of gaming to some extent. It’s not going to outright replace other forms of gaming, but it will have its own place, and I think the model of mobile games will be a lot different than console and PC games: that is, being more simple and dumbed down when it comes to gameplay, more about maximizing profits with ads, lootboxes, etc. from the developer’s perspective (and I don’t blame them since companies like Apple take a sliver of the profits; just look at the Apple vs. Fortnite controversy), and headed more towards a toonier look with catoon style shaders, especially to reflect on simpler gameplay (e.g. Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Dragon Nest M, etc.).

  • Arcade games are the easiest and quite the most favored of games on the internet. First of all, they are easy to grasp, therefore easy to play. Secondly, they consist of engaging timed trials and challenges and […]

    • I used to play Fruit Ninja a lot. The core gameplay is simple and it works well.

    • I still prefer going to actual arcade games in real life, nothing quite beats that.

    • Some are old, and some are new. With Frogger, I find that there are a lot of “clone” games, or variants of Frogger. It’s pretty common to find imitators of classic arcade games (e.g. Brick Breaker vs. Arkanoid, or Puzz Loop vs. Zuma [PopCap Games pretty much stole Puzz Loop]). And it’s quite easy to find arcade games today, especially ones you can play on a PC or phone without having to go to an actual arcade machine.

Apple Arcade is also full of arcade games, most games being unique, but I generally prefer playing free arcade games online, so I tend to avoid Apple Arcade since it’s like $5 per month.

  • There is an overflow of online games constituting a major portion of the internet. Every day, millions of gamers flock around their desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets, to indulge in these games and enjoy […]

    • If you want to play good mobile games, you really need to look for them carefully and check everything you can about them.

    • Honestly never heard of these games before, except maybe Game of Thrones since there’s a strategy game called “Game of Thrones: Conquest” which is also available on iOS, but ranked 152 in the strategy category.

  • Games have come a long way since they hit the scene in the 1890s. Over the years, there has been a huge transformation in the quality and availability of games. Software developers are always working diligently to […]

    • When looking for game sites to play on, stay away from shady sites because you can get to trouble if you don’t.

    • Generally the more popular the site, the likelihood that it’s actually good. But it’s also good to see what other people think, because their thoughts on a site influences your decision about that site.

  • Gaming is an activity that millions of people enjoy in different parts of the globe. A majority of gamers engage the sport for fun while looking to make some money on the side. On the other hand, there are some […]

    • Play clean, don’t go too crazy with money and don’t play 24/7.

    • That’s pretty much common in a lot of things you do, setting time restrictions and creating a budget. Just like how it’s applicable in life, it is also applicable in video games. However, it’s not easy to convince people (especially those addicted to a game) that prioritize everything to a game, especially if they’re trying to be the “best player” such as getting to number one on a leaderboard; sometimes games consume people, and it’s a hard habit to break away from, if it’s their favorite game.

  • The past decade or so has seen online gaming rise to new levels of popularity. As timeless pastimes have found a whole new purpose and format in the world of online gaming – at sites such as […]

    • People like to fiddle their phones so add online games to them and then you will have a recipe of success or disaster depending on how you look at it.

    • I feel like the mobile industry has made games simpler to play, but that’s sort of expected because it’s harder to control a game on a touchscreen than it is with keyboard and mouse, or a controller. Idle games have become wildly popular, and a lot of mobile MMOs seem to have an auto feature for things like automatically walking to destinations or automatically fighting enemies. And art style tends to reflect mobile games by being toonier, which kind of fits with the simplicity of mobile games these days. I expect mobile games to be like this for a long time, simple to play.

  • The online game industry has experienced much growth in the recent past leading to cut-throat competitions amongst internet gaming sites. In a bid to keep up with the pace, software developers are creating modern […]

  • What are the best MMORPGs you can play on PC right now? It’s a tough question, but that’s a good thing. With so many enthralling MMORPGs on the market right now, knowing which one to sink your teeth into text can […]

    • Runescape has been getting more attraction which is good to see.

    • Pretty crazy how Runescape still makes these lists, but good for them!

    • World of Warcraft Classic is a good MMORPG to try out and would make to this list if it was made around the time when it came out.

    • RuneScape’s been getting more popular, probably because of RuneScape Mobile. But I think Old School RuneScape is still Jagex’s strongest MMO, especially for their dedicated fanbase.
