Comment: I just loved this game its one of the best RPG's that I've ever played. It might not have the best graphics but it all pays up with fantastic gameplay. Gameplay is great in this game were you take the role of your chosen class and go to battle fighting monsters and going through dungeons as you travel the lands. The game also comes with quests. Each quests comes with fantastic things to do especially since there's different quests setup for each class. A great feature in the game are the difficulty levels to choose from which one must complete the first, Normal to move onto the next, Nightmare which is the same with the next level of difficulty, Hell. Same as Warcraft Diablo is built with a Multiplayer system which allows player to connect to Battle net. My favorite part was the ladder system which can last for a long time. Through this players start with a new character taht has no advantage to other players. Once started the player enters the ladder game which in there you may receive rare items only achievable in ladder games. All in a mad game for all with easy ways to level and great ways to have fun and a good gaming experience. SO i think this game definitely deserves a 8.5/10.

Comment: Diablo II is one of the best games of its kind in my opinion (not just mines though)

as a player of Diablo I way back in the day, i knew i'd like diablo two.

but it was more awesome than i could ever imagine. story was deep. continued from Diablo I obviously. Gameplay was fantastic, aint nothing like taking down 20 cows with some paladin hammers :) .

the comunity are mixed in my opinion, i play in Europe server. and sometimes there have been very mature conversations, other times its all 1337 n00bz0rz. lol. but there nice people, and love to help new people out, you could ask for a rush (rushed through the game, so u can get xp from Baal runs 'if u have expansion). and alot of people would gladly do it.

the only problem is, Hell mode. if your new your obviously not going to have any items worth a penny, but you'll still be able to fight your way through normal mode, and most of nightmare, but when you come to hell (the most important mode, as thats where all the good loot it) youll be destroyed. unless you have good gear, which is hard to get in normal and nightmare, and in trade because you dont have any items.. but the comunity is nice, and alot of people will help you out, and give you free items.

amazing game, love it. played it for years :)

Comment: Honestly, out of the 40+ MMORPG's I've played, this one is the most intriguing, and has kept me coming back. I know anyone else can say the same thing about it. I'll break it down for you.

Gameplay 10/10 - No other game that I can think of offers so many skills and ways to configure your character. It seems like any character you make can wreak havoc upon all of D2. Usually in D2:LoD it's the Hammerdin(A Paladin that utilizes the Hammer Skill)

Community 7/10 - Some of the community is helpful, but most are the usual bad people you get in games. Some are honest, some aren't. But I will say this, MOST of the D2 community will go FAR out of their way to help you with ANYTHING you need. It's just that kind of game..:)

Graphics 5/10 - Obviously the graphics won't be good, the game was made 8+ years ago..:P But, the game does have pretty good graphics for an old game. Hey, it's not all about the graphics. :)

Storyline 3/10 - One of the most boring storylines I have ever played. It is divided by 5 acts, with 6 quests in each act except for Act 4 (It's a quick one). There are 3 difficulties, you start in Norm, then move to Nightmare, then Hell. EVERY single mode has the same quests, same monsters, same EVERYTHING. Though, the monsters difficulty does increase, and so do the chances of getting valuable drops. Most people get rushed through the game. It's a form of getting you through the difficulty fast.

PvP 8/10 - Overall, the PvP is like any other game. You use your skills to kill people, but in D2, there are so many skills/builds/levels to fight at and with. Theres high level dueling, low level dueling, pking during games(Going into non-duel games and Pking everyone).

In my opinion, this game set the lead for all other games. It gave them sort of a guide to work off of, with many things like mass amounts of skills, completely different areas in different parts of the game, and mana(You know who has played D2 because in other games they will call energy Mana..^.^). Think about it. This game has to be good, the game developers have kept it up for years just for 50,000+ people continuously playing, and now they are working on a sequel. You have not experienced gaming until you have really played this game. So, go out and buy it and give it a try, you won't be let down..:)

It was a marvelous game and was really enjoyable. I can't put my finger on it, but there was something that distinguished this game from others.

I played until the end on several characters and that's when I realized there was not much more to do. And thats when I went online with Diablo II. I was very disappointed by the online play, the very second I joined in a game all these hackers would ask me if I wanted white armor. So pretty much cheaters galore.

Overall: local play- thumbs up
online play- thumbs down

While it is so simple in design and control, it is strangely rewarding and fun to build up your character over time. The online function is very fun as well, allowing you to play through all of your favorite dungeons and quests with a friend. Also, the game is very easy to run on low-end PCs due to it's dated system requirements. The expansion unlocks a massive torrent of new content and mods. If you don't like the game, download the LotR or Harry Potter mods and it becomes a different game. What have you got to lose? The game itself usually comes with both the original Diablo I, Diablo II, and the expansion, so you get what you pay for, always.

This is my personal review, I don't like this game as much as I did before. Nowadays since people are obtaining powerful but cheesy weapons and armors the game is not fun anymore online. There's nothing special about this game nor are there anything new about it. The storyline is good, sound quality is good, music is good, graphic is obviously obselete, and the gameplay is addictive.

Comment: This game is great except for all the duping that went on. I had 4 level 85's in this game once I figured out the secret of the cow level. I got to level 70 in one day on my necromancer after getting to the hell cow level at level 15 by using iron maiden and corpse explosion. The down side is after getting in the 80's, leveling is really repetitive just going in the cow level over and over again and it really slows down.

Comment: I have played this game since launch. It is by far my favorite online game. The pvp is great and leveling with everyone else if actually fun. As for the claim that a level 14 could kill a 99, thats impossible. A NAKED 99 could kill anything that low with ANY skill. Unless Blloodstain-Boi was playing on open battle net. Open battle net is where you take your SINGLE player character online. And since hacking a single player character is a piece of cake, its easy to see decked out low levels. But normal battle net prevents such hacking. The 3 skill trees allow for numerous character builds with great effectiveness. After patch 1.10 even MORE build where born due to the new psynergy abilities. Overall it is still one of the best games to play online and one of the best pc games ever released.

Comment: I too have played Diablo for many many years... Well actually about 3. At first I thought it was pretty solid. Lots of skills, Pretty good classes, and uncountable weapons. Sets where really fun to collect. Im now looking at this game and seeing it to be really phony. The thing is, now this game is really stupid. And ill tell you why. I went to a Pvp duel gaem, and witnessed a lvl 14 kill a lvl 99. Thats not a lie. I swear to god. The fact is.... That the duel system is more like a, one hit your dead sort of thing. Another reason why its bad is that Battlenet will kick you out, and wont let you back on if you create games to fast. Its also a lag fest....

Pros are e-z chat, fun gameplay, 7 charectors with tons of strategys, fun duels

Cons this game has alot of cons. Playing online youlle find there are rich and poor people and it takes forever to find good items. after a wile youll see the same stratageys over and over again, and the same items. No1 online follows the story line because its set up for single player. youll get board of this game in a few weeks, meph and baal runs get so old. plus the graphics are lame

This game just gets boring and theres beter rpgs out there. but its fun wile it lasts
