Comment: A very fun game to play.
Pros:
-Very different character choices
-Very different weapons(yo-yos!)
-Good community.
-Very good pvp options.
-Different character builds.
-For this game, I thought it will req. min. 3 GB harddisk, It only took 1,8GB!

CONS:
-Grind based. Very low quests, they are also pretty borin' an tiring. Only did quests L20-, the others would give me too low penya or ex, which i could gather easily from hunting.
-To get master, u need to lwl 120(which is too hard, stopped leveling at Lwl70), u lwl down to 60, and u need to level to 120 again if u want to get hero. This time u need to lwl x2 more!

Overall, a very fun game to play, i even had fun at grinding!

Comment: FlyFF is one of the best MMORPG"s I"ve came across in my 5 years playing MMORPG"s.

I"ve been playing for 3 years on and off, and it"s truely a great experience.

PvP

Guild siege lets all guilds battle it out in a combat area, and the winning guild gets a symbol next to thier name so everyone can see that they are the winners of the weeks siege, and they are a force to be reckoned with.

Arena - You can jump into the arena when you are bored, this is a small area for all players to battle it out until thier heart is content, All out free for all!

PvE

The PvE in this game has a short learning curve, all you do is double click and watch you smash that monster! Unlike most games, flyff has very fast attacking, so it"s more exciting that watching your character swipe once every 2 seconds. On flyff, you swing your weapon 4 times every second roughly, unless your using a 2 handed sword. Or using skills

Economy

Suprisingly, you can play this game and reach the level cap without touching the cash shop! You can kill giants to earn cash, and once you are a high enough level, get your guild and smash clockworks! (A super sized mob with over 62 Million HP, Takes around 4 or 5 people attacking, and will take 30-60 minutes to take it down) Clockworks gives super amazing, uber epic drops, basicly, if you farmed clockworks, you would be very very rich and could afford alot of the Cash Shop items people sell ingame.

Events were rare back int he days, but now, Gpotato have stepped up, and they are bringing out very nice events very consistantly.

Graphic might not be as good as lets say Runes Of Magic, but as far as the gameplay goes, it"s one of the best and most fun games you"ll find.

It"s gone from where CS didn"t matter much back then to now, where you"ll be lucky to get past 90-95 without some kind of CS, be it spros, gpros. apros, wtfever. And all Galanet wants to do is add more crap that they can make money off of, rather than fix what"s wrong. This and many other reasons are why I quit official flyff a long time ago in favor of pservers.

Comment: FlyFF is the best MMORPG I have ever played. The people who rated FlyFF lower than 5 never played the game.....How in the hell can you rate this game a zero if you have played? Answer: you cant!!!

V13 made FlyFF even better so kiss my.......Besides cool features like housing and the rainbow race., I met my girlfriend in FlyFF! The community is very helpful and nice. I feel like I am a part of something special when playing.

yea we didnt played flyFF but you ever played Wow or lord of the rings? this game is a bishop when we look at the other games

Comment: I'll be extreamly generious and give this game a 4. The games called FlyFF which stands for Fly for Fun but this game has almost nothing to do with flying. At level 20 you can do a quest and earn the right to use a flying surf board as a basic mode of transportation but thats all, theres no quests or combat or anything really that center around flying. Also the game has it's share of hacker problems with staff and managment who'd rather sit around telling bad jokes and trying to pick up girls than deal with it. And the games rarly updated with new content other than useless cash shop junk thats over priced.

Comment: Graphics are fairly juvenille, and it requires alot of grinding in higher levels, but this is a game that you can play on and off without much trouble, unlike fiesta and games that require attention to whats valuable and whats "in" etc. The armor sets are cool. Very unique battle system with the hotkeys, an new concept which was excecuted well. Item drop rates are good, and you get a pretty constant supply of food. I only rated 7 for the difficulty in leveling in higher levels.

Comment: You can fly. That, for me at least, is a big turnoff at level 20. The ability to get anywhere in the game easily without being hindered by enemies should be the hardest thing to get. Because it seems so good being able to do that at level 20, i don't actually want to level past 20. Why should i? I can do all the stuff i could at say 60 when i'm only at 20.

On a good... kind of... note: Powerlevelling is alive and well. It takes you about 5 minutes from 23 to 24 being powerlevelled by a level 40. I went up four levels by getting on my flying board and following a friend while he killed enemies. Because i was flying, i was untouchable. All player shops are ridiculously overpriced and you have to search on the internet for guides about how to upgrade your armour / weapons, etc. Not much newbie help when you start. I'm a very adaptive person and i will work with what people give me. And this didnt work for me. Games should have something new every few levels in my opinion, instead of giving everything away early and having a ridiculously high level cap.

Graphics are cartoony. I'm not too fussed on cartoony graphics, but whatever floats your boat, really. I give them a 3/10 simply cause i don't like them. (This is MY review, not yours)
Gameplay is pretty boring. Much a grind fest. Mages and Assists are way more powerful than anything else to start off with. An assist is practically indestructable and a mage has ridiculously powerfull attack combinations that take little mana. And for this button mashing reason, i give the gameplay a 4/10. Because it isnt some sort of runescape clone.
Community. What community? I met ONE person in my time on it who could speak correct english. I would not have minded if english wasn't their first language, but when you get english people speaking so much broken english, you have to draw the line. 4/10
Music... Repetitive and annoying 1/10 for the effort they put into it. Must've been hard to teach them toddlers how to not work a keyboard.
Additional features. The ability to fly is in many MMOs... So i don't call it original. It also has a cash shop... With items that are beneficial to a player's performance and levelling. 0/10 because i am unimpressed at anyone who thinks that money will get them anywhere.

Overall: I don't reccomend this game unless you are into cartoony graphics and are not bothered about endless grind. 3/10

Comment: Every MMORPG game has practly the same stuff. They have similar upgrade systems, leveleling ans skills. Fly For Fun used to be like this. Since V12, this game becomes other kind of MMO.

With the Lord system the game provided the chance to elect a player who have powers to do Exp and Drop events and control the NPC items price. In this version (12) we could know the pet system something that is very different from the pets of the other games.

V13 comes with the confirmation that Flyff is the future way to the MMO's. The players never expected the housning system. Now, they can build(buy) a house and decorate. At the same time he decorates, he improves his power. The new interface of the character status gave to the player more practice.

Couple system gives the chance to the players receive incredible prizes and improve their power, exp gained and drops. The bad notice is: You need 120 days logged in with your couple (at the same channel) to get the final level. It's a very long time, but can be fixed in next version.

Something that could be changed in next version too, is the Player vs Player. The classes aren't balanced and the players in arena, Guild war/Sieges like overpower. They should reduce the damage dealt and the difference among the levels. The changes implanted in element system are an example and begin of changes that should be made.

Rainbow Race is a very funny entertainment event. It was the first time the developers remembered to do something that needs to use our boards/brooms/bikes. A game wich name is Fly For Fun should have more things like that.

The achievements was other thing that gives to the player other options in-game, except kill and level. Should be implanted more titles.

To conclude, I want to invite everyone that doesn't play this game, to play and have fun in a very big world of choices. After all, reach the sky wasn't enough to the Flyff Team.

Comment: Fly For Fun, or simply “Flyff”, is a fantasy MMORPG with some steam-punk and cartoon themes. Its adorable, anime-like characters and graphics make the game especially appealing to girls, though there are plenty of males who enjoy the game as well. There are not too many music tracks in the game, but the music does correspond to the theme of the area (i.e. ominous music in dungeons, cute music in town). The monsters, called Masquerpets, all feature their own unique sound effects as well.

Flyff is one of many “free-for-life” games. Instead of paying a monthly subscription, the game is supported by purchasing items in the Cash Shop. Players willing to spend money can get some great items and features, but it’s also entirely possible and fun even without purchasing items.

The game’s name comes from player’s ability to fly on brooms, boards, clouds, and other fun items as a mode of transportation. Not only does this unique feature make travel easier, but it also allows for access to new areas that are otherwise unreachable.

At the beginning of Flyff, you start as a Vagrant. At level 15 you choose your class, of which there are four (Magicians who focus on spell casting, Mercenaries who focus on close combat with weapons, Acrobats who use range weapons, and Assists who cast buffs and heal players). At level 60, you can specialize your class, with two selections to choose from per beginner class.

Flyff also has a lot of options for playing with, or against, other players. In fact, one draw-back of the game is that it is very difficult to solo kill boss monsters, and many features of the game require being in a party (if you want to be successful). On the bright side, parties earn points the more time they spend together, which can be used to grant special features to the party (such as summoning the leader, additional experience gain for a limited amount of time, etc). The PvP element of the game lacks, as it is unbalanced. If you don’t wish to play on the PvP server, being victim to anyone who passes by, you may also duel players. Dueling is great in that both players agree to fight. The problem with dueling is that different classes are extremely unbalanced when fighting each other. Classes, such as assists, rely on helping others, and therefore are not good class choices for those wishing to battle others one-on-one. Players may also form and join guilds, which can compete against each other in competitions, such as the Secret-Room. To keep the community close, there is also a Lord system, as well as occupying guilds.

There are always quests available at different levels, which are a nice way to set other goals for yourself while working on grinding. Other nice game attributes are the ability to raise pets, and also adorable outfits to customize your character over their armor (as well as further hair and face customization for a fee).

Flyff recently launched V13, which came with some great additions. Mid-level players willing to spend some money may find it worthwhile to purchase tickets to the new Coral Island. It is similar to Azria, another pay island, except that Coral Island features masquerpets that are for lower to mid-level players (and not just high level). Not only does it boast some new mobs on an adorable, scenic tropical beach setting, but experience gains are doubled on the island, allowing for smoother and quicker leveling. Plus, none of the monsters there are aggressive, so you never have to watch your back.

Another keynote feature is the addition of a Couple’s System. Similar to some other MMORPGs, players may now enter into relationships. Not only does this add another way to play with others, but the system actually grants you additional skills and rewards as your couple stays together longer and levels.

Also, there are now new achievement titles. Different titles can be earned through various methods, such as eating a certain number of foods or killing a certain number of monsters. The old dueling titles were also replaced with new achievement titles.

Another useful feature is that elemental upgrading on weapons can now be done to +20 instead of just +10. Different monsters have different elements, and having weapons that are strong against a monster's element helps a lot when killing them.

Yet another addition is the new housing system. All players are given a house which they may decorate with items purchasable both in game and from the Cash Shop. Certain items even give boosts to stats and abilities for a limited time when placed into one’s house.

One of the best new features is the Rainbow Race. This new element gives a new purpose to flying, as well as some great new items. Every week there is a competition that requires flying all over the map to complete mini-games and puzzles against NPCs. The first few people to finish all of the puzzles get some great rewards, but even if you aren’t quick, you still get prizes just for completing puzzles during the competition time (no matter how slow you went!).

Some other minor (but nice) tweaks include an arrow to show you which direction the NPC you need to visit to complete a quest is, masquerpet locations are now labeled on the maps in-game, some nice changes to player’s private shops, as well as various graphical touch-ups.

Of course, with all the good things come the bad. My largest concern is the amount of macro-bots for the sole purpose of selling Penya, the in-game currency. Despite constant in-game alerts to report anyone advertising Penya selling sites, many of the town centers and spawning points are crawling with bots, relentlessly spamming these websites. Also, certain features of the game are somewhat overlooked. For instance, if the calculations are done, achieving the highest dueling title, or highest couple level would require weeks to months of constant playing, which for most people is not plausible.

All in all, Flyff is a great game choice if you are looking for a free MMORPG with cute graphics and a good community. The new additions with V13 give long-term players, as well as new players, some things to look forward to.

Comment: Fly For Fun is a MMORPG very different from the others. This game combines child graphics with a very complex gameplay. There are many skills and habilities with different influence of the basic attributes: Strenght, Dextery, Stamina and Intelligence. Althought it's complex, it's a very good point of this game since we can make our character powerfull with lots of varieties.

The systems like: Rainbow Race, Pet system, Ultimate weapons,Party,Couple , Housing and Collector make the game single among the others. This systems give to the players others things to do in-game, without level.

PvP: This is the failure of the game. The skills and damage aren't balenced, and makes the Arena boring, sometimes (specially when you aren't with your friends). Player Kill isn't allowed in the normal servers, just in Demian (wich have ExP and Drops rate x2). In V7, the game used to be more interesting, because there are in each server the channel PK.

Guilds: There are very events for the guild join, like Guild War, Siege, Secret Rooms and Clockworks. They're very good, but are too limited. The PvP system interferes in the first two events, so it's just for the top players.

Flyff will be better when they fix the Player vs Player. Until there, has 8 in his grade.

If you don't care about PvP, you are going to like this game very much. I'm sure!

Comment: This review focuses on the features that were added by the v13 flyff update.

Coral Island - Is a nice area with a beach theme, sunny, bright and colourful. Contains mid-level monsters that are in plenty of supply and aren't agro. (you can safely level there without having to worry about an agro spawning on top of you and killing you ^.^ ohhh.....the amount of times I've had that happen >.> ) Also there are 2 channels for coral Island so if the area your leveling at becomes a bit busy/lag more you can switch channels. A nice addition to flyff.

Rainbow Race - Takes place once a week on Saturday and constist of a bunch of mini-games that have to be completed before you race back to the finishing line. Its fun and offers a welcome distraction from grinding and questing. Even if you don't have the fastest broom/board/bike you can still win as some of the mini-games require luck and skill!!!! The prizes are good aswell. Its a shame that it only takes place once a week and on s1 which is usually the busiest and laggiest server.

Couple system - I must say that I've not had much experience with this new addition (its hard to find someone that plays at the same time). From what I've seen the concept is intereasting, forming couples and leveling together while gaining various rewards and skills. Though it seems to take forever to get the couples level-up and rewards.

Housing system - An interesting addition, its fun at first to get your own house and be able to jump around and add furniture to it but the novelty wears off after awhile. I guess people can use it as a meeting place or have house parties since you can invite them into your house. At the moment only furniture bought from the Cash Shop adds temporary stats (its not very useful as you can get better stats from awakening and that is permanent). On the whole, not such a great addition.

Elements - The majority of the changes are nice, weapons can now have elements upgraded to +20 which gives a nice effect, the fire +20 effect/glow is awesome!!! You can now change the element without having to get rid of the previous element and re-upgrading with the new element by using a Scroll of element change. Though elementing a suit with the same element as a monster dosen't have the same effect as it did before v13.

Titles/achievements - I like some of the new titles that you can get from hunting certain monsters or doing an action for xxx amount of times and its not completely based on pvp (the titles in the previous versions were based only on pvp) My only issue with the new titles/achievements is that they could be more creative with the title names.

Other welcomed changes
- Character status window is now wider, you can now see all the numbers in HP for example, used to be squished when you had high HP.
- Arrows and Posters can now be purchased/stacked in 9999, one of the best changes of v13 in my opinion as it frees up inventory space. It used to take up 4 slot in inventory now it only takes one for 9999 arrows or posters!!!!.
- Theres a new feature that I call "in-game GPS" ^.~ it tells you how far away you are from a selected NPC, very handy if you've never been to that particular NPC before.
- The in-game map now has an option to show monster locations, again handy for people who are new to flyff, to find there way about.
- Can also name your pet now (raised pets-pets that give stats only not the CS pets-pick up pets)

Other changes (that were not welcomed/desired/that I just hated)
- Items that are recieved on the completion of the first job change became "event" items, so these items couldn't be sold or banked. This makes it harder to get penya at low levels as you can no longer sell these items.
- Buffs have a set order, as if limiting the amount of Buffs to only 14 wasen't bad enough they now have a set order. So this can be abused by using a useless buff to knock off a useful buff. (buffs= enhance character stats depending on class, some buffs are better than others)
- The Character window was made bigger, I personally don't like the new size (its just too big).

=Summary=
On the whole the version 13 update is okay. It adds alot of additional content and tries to fix some bugs. It will be interesting to see how the new features will be developed in future versions. I was hoping that v13 would expand/improve the existing quests alas for a furture version maybe.

I want a yard o.o and for the 30 day items to be cheaper so I can affordably decorate my house. Overall it seems like a great thing with a lot of future potential, but right now it's just not doing what it could be. Looking forward to updates on this in the future.

Elements: 8/10

I like finally being able to continue upgrading the element, not to mention the scroll of element change has made it worthwhile, but it's extremely hard to get past +10. The scroll is the major thing here, that's the most useful thing I've used in a long time, as far as new cs items go anyways.

Couples: 8/10

Takes forever, but what thing worth having doesn't? Any real review on this will have to wait for quite a while, but overall I like it and I agree with it being like marriage in most places, male to female. Perhaps there is room for a partner system too along side the couples system to fill the gap though.

Coral Island: 7/10

It is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's useful to the average player. Ticks run about 15-17m on my server and that's just too far beyond a lower level persons budget to make it worthwhile or even doable.

Rainbow Race: 9/10

Awesome, except for the s1 darken thing and disqualification for dc. I think there should be some way to keep track of everyone that has won instead of a week to week basis, no one is very competitive in it on my server because there's just no reason to be, you're results are gone from history after 1 week. Otherwise, it's a great change of pace from standard game play. We need more things like this in my opinion.

Fame Titles: 9/10

This is an awesome addition to the game for many reasons. One being it adds another change of pace for game play. Two being it provides the average player with other fun things to do. Three being it holds promise as an expandable thing for the future, I'd love to see waaaaaay more titles in future versions as well as some more cooky things for us to do xD

Bug fixing/error correcting/updating: 9/10

Happy to see that in v13 they have put effort into fixing many of the issues that have plagued us for years, I think every update should have a lot of this one xD Keep up the good work! My only complaint is that the (H) key window is rather large if you're in lower resolutions, perhaps some option as to how that looks based on personal preference would be nice.

Overall: 8/10

I like this update a lot, I've actually loved most of the updates since v7 because it's making the player more unique and providing ways for less fortunate people to get going and play competitively. This one stands out to me as one that is branching out and testing the waters for a myriad of things to come Flyff's way very soon, and I like the sound of that. Some of the updates and new content may be trivial to people, but it's all a step in the right direction and will hopefully end up yielding even better things for Flyff in the future. Can't wait to see what the next version hold :)

Overall, Flyff is a community based game that thrives off of the relationships the players build with each other, be it a friendship or a rival. But it has a very addictive feel to it and is easy to fall right into with a very user friendly learning curve.



Content: 5/10

While Madrigal seems to be an enormous undertaking to the new player, in reality you can learn every nook and cranny in it through general game play in a relatively short time. This simplistic style is appealing initially, mastering new areas is quite a triumphant feeling, but it is very lacking once you reach the higher levels and you have seen everything the world has to offer. On the flip side, it does keep everything localized and relative for the community, easy to grasp and easy to follow.

However, I suggest more things for people lvl 50+ to do, quests become routine and trivial at best, all there is to do is grind and pvp. Up till that point, the easy to grasp pace of Flyff is very well suited for new players and veterans alike, nothing like making a new character and flying through the lower levels without complications. But once again, a change of pace would be great. The new Fame Titles are a step in the right direction, a very good one in my opinion. Build off that and make it more relative to actual game play. Reward players for attaining those titles, they are hard enough to get that it would be tough to abuse and rewarding to try and get.
More quests like the lower level "Mushmoot" and "Krr" would be awesome for higher level players, seeing as gianting is currently pointless until you get to fantasy desert, unless you really feel like killing giants for 4 hours only to make 10-20m if you cannot afford a party and maybe a Acquisition Scroll or two. Those kinds of quests bring players together to accomplish a common goal, much like the highly successful "Alchemist" event, and they are rewarding at the same time. It's amazing the things we can accomplish when we work together and how much fun it is to do it.

Equips are fairly varied and the ability to "Awaken" them makes nearly every player unique, not to mention it makes it possible for less fortunate players to get good gear on a budget. Perhaps "Green" shields would be a good addition to the mix. But other than that, equipment and the ability to customize it to your liking is a huge plus for Flyff.



Graphics: 8/10

Flyff has a cute anime style to it, a huge plus because it seems to appeal to a large amount of female gamers which really adds to the community in a way few other games can. It's not of recent technology, so we can't expect it to run with the top dogs on the PC gaming market, but for a free game that has seen as many versions as Flyff has, it does just fine. Not to mention the scaled back graphics makes Flyff more readily available to a large variety of users. One thing that would be nice is more control over the graphics options, anything that will help you squeeze out those FPS's while aoeing or during a large scale pvp event such as the Guild Seige or a sizable Guild War, or help you get the most out of your screen shots and bragging rights :P The producers also make good efforts to stay with the seasons and holiday themes, often times the game will reflect real life events with it's own cute Flyff twist.



Community: 9.8/10

Put simply, if there was a single factor that made Flyff a worth while game, it would be the community that plays it. You can find everything from rivals, to best friends, to would be lovers and heart breakers in the community. It is admittedly hard to find friends at the lower levels though, some kind of system to find parties and partners would be awesome for everyone.



PvM: 6.5/10

This score would be around 4-5 if the game play mechanics had not been changed to allow Tank AOEing. They call it "grinding" for a reason, you will spend hours upon hours killing the same monster in the exact same style with very little variation to level up. If gianting was more appealing and doable, it would help. At the moment though, it's rather horrible trying to make money by gianting till much much later in the game. Most of the time giants are just an inconvenience or all together pointless. Some kind of change of pace would really help, Rangda was a good start, but more random mobs like that would ease the pain and change things up from time to time, rare mobs that actually have some kind of use and give you a reason to want to challenge them. Or as I stated before, more quest/dungeon type places with nothing but giants and challenging Boss monsters would be great. And I don't mean more end game content like the Secret Rooms in the Forbidden Tower, though that does seem to be a good addition for the Hero and other high level players, target more players in between.



PvP: 8/10

Overall, pvp in Flyff is very enjoyable, it provides a fun change of pace and just gives you something else to do in general. GWing and GSing are also a lot of fun once you get in that level range. I do believe every cluster should have a pk server in it, as another change of pace. One thing that I would love to see is something like King of the Hill or Capture the Flag, maybe even special areas for mini game type things where players or groups of players can challenge one another, like GWing, but with different objectives.



Controls: 8.5/10

Flyff generally is a very easy to navigate game with a simple GUI and hotkey system. I think a macro system would be cool too, such as the ability to assign keys to perform certain things like buffing with certain buffs and using skills/items in a pre defined order. However, I also feel that it might detract from the skill involved in pvp and general game play if certain things are allowed.



Events: 3-9/10

The GM team in Flyff does an awesome job of making the events they are directly involved in very enjoyable, but some of the events seem lacking to say the least. Of course, we can't expect to have some huge event every week, but I'll just put it this way, when it's good, it's great, when it's bad, it's horrible. There's very little in between ground as far as this goes. But overall, the events are a good change of pace and provide entertainment on a regular basis, no matter how small or seemingly meaningless they appear to be at times. On a more specific note, I think Lord events really need to be looked at, they are so hard to attend and are rarely actually useful. Maybe increase their duration a bit or make them easier to attain. The Rainbow Race is an awesome start to new content and new things to do, but please, next time don't make a race that starts and finishes in S1 Darken, then disqualify people that DC due to Neuz errors or lagging out, it's horrifically frustrating. And perhaps don't let Lords use certain skills during the race :P but that's debatable.



Sound: 8.5/10

I love the music in Flyff, but I always have it turned off because of a few themes and songs that are just unbearable, such as the flying theme >> An option to chose what songs you want to hear would be nice, or the ability to assign your own songs to certain areas and events or something of that nature. Most of the sound effects fit what they represent very well and are distinct enough to let players know what's going on around them without having to seek the source or see what's going on to understand the situation. Very good for pvp and pvm in general, but perhaps more accurate directional sound would be nice, so I can tell if someone is buffing behind me or to the left/right. And the Bang pet's stomping gets old fast xD



Stability: 6.5/10

Ugh, the crashes are so notorious that it is almost it's own entity now. It's a noun and verb at this point. You got neuzed, neuz strikes again, neuz doesn't like it when you [insert any action]. It's not so bad until you start trying to do large scale GW's or massive AOE's, but when it hits, it hurts. At any one GW, I crash 3-7 times depending on the duration of it and how many people are participating. There seems to be a few problems in the GS arena as well, I'm usually "glitched" 2-4 of my 5 lives to where I cannot buff, equip, use items or attack. *cries* But I've never seen any server crash or have issues outside of routine maintainence and the rare roll back from time to time. Ao that's good lol Also free of hackers generally, penya scammers are another story.




General comments and ideas:

Shops need a way to put multiple items in te same slot to sell for one price. Such as 4 parts to a set, at one price so people cannot buy 1 part and mess up your set. Some kind of an auctioning system would be awesome, I think it would also cut down on some of the shops and PERHAPS help reduce lag in towns a bit, but that's a pretty big if.

Just fix it once and for all, this is a reccuring issue that has been around since at least v6(when I started playing).

New areas to get away from the usual stuff for a bit, like a giants island, an all agro area, shadow versions of monsters that are very hard to kill and offer great rewards or something, or titles, achievments, that kinda thing.

Just look at WoW for ideas.

Some side job where you do a certain thing to make money or upgrade things, such as mining for stuff and all that.

The ability to click you pet and select from a menu the kind of items you want him to leave behind. Such as food, penya drops, cards, weapons, armors, fp/mp type things and eggs o.o

I'd like to see more awakening related things in the cash shop, such as polarization scrolls(single awakening and all on one item varieties), maybe something to awakenings from one item and put them on a like item(helmet to helmet, gauntlets to gauntlets, that kinda thing, perhaps with a restriction on how big the item level gap can be. Like 30 level gap is one scroll, 50 level gap is a slightly more expensive one, 80 even more so, 120 most expensive.

Fly For Fun - FlyFF new version 13 has quite a number of new and unique features.

Couple System 8/10
This system rewards those who spend time with another player, with it's own level which increases according to the amount of time spent with the other.
At each new level, the players are rewarded with items, or even unique skills.
A good addition for all those who play with another person.
Only bad thing would be it takes a very long time to level up the couple level, but this is really just a bonus for those who play flyff together.

Rainbow Race 9/10
This is a the first flying update and quite an exciting one, excluding the new flying vehicles and items.
A nice new weekly event for those who wish to have fun in the skies and play minigames as well, with decent prizes.

New Elementing 7/10
The new increase to +20 from +10, is a nice addition, but alot of players probably wouldn't be worried about it. It's a nice feature for those who already have +10 element on their weapons.
The new glows the weapons have at higher upgrades is also nice.

Housing System 7/10
While still lacking in content and quite small, it is a nice escape from everywhere else. It is also a nice place to spend time with your friends as they can enter your house, or you can enter theirs, with permission of course.

Titles 9/10
Not many negatives about this, except for the fact the old pvp titles are gone.
Replaced with new ones though of course. Also with the addition of many other fun and qwerky titles. You also get the choice of which title you want to display if you have achieved various different ones.

Coral Island 9/10
A great new place for people to level at for those who wish to spend to get there. Great spawn with many monsters, excellent experience and superb drops to make up for ticket costs. An excellent addition and alternative for people to level at.

Overall 8/10
Version 13 is a nice addition to FlyFF, it has it negatives but alot of the new features don't affect older versions too much. A few new enjoyable features for everyone to use.

FlyFF has all of these, plus a huge community full of helpful people, this is definitely a game worth trying.

Gameplay 9/10
While leveling does get tedious at end game levels, much of the game is quite simple to play and enjoyable.
A game is always more fun with more people, so FlyFF promotes playing with another person and being in parties which provides faster leveling.
A guild also plays a large role in FlyFF with guild wars and guild quests, as well as a way to meet new friends and have a good time.
There are also other things to do except just plain grinding, such as, giant(boss) hunting, the arena, guild siege or you can ever decorate your own house now.
If that wasn't enough you can fly the skies in the all new Rainbow Race.

Graphics 8/10
Well first off, the game's graphics are quite good. Especially seeing how long FlyFF has been around for. Competing with many newer free MMORPG games. By all means, even today, they are quite good.
Nice cute anime style graphics, with great skill and item effects.

Uniqueness and Customization 9/10
Alot of different items to wear to make your character look different. Other than the usual equipments you can wear, there are clothes you can get to wear over them, many of which are unique looking, other than that, there are even rare weapons and armour.
With so much combinations it's easy to make your character look like what you want and unique.
Four different first classes, each with 2 second classes, all with a large variety of different skills.
A variety of different pets, foxes, dragons, turtles and yes even a hamburger.
And there's bound to be more, with weekly updates and frequent events.

Music and Sound 7/10
All the sound effects are not bad, quite well done and fit whatever it is for whether it was a sword slash or a spell.
The music is quite nice and not too bad, but after a long time it loses it's luster.

Overall 8/10
Much of FlyFF is quite good, especially for a free game, it contains many nice features, such as flying, couple system, a pet system, a housing system and many more. The gameplay is quite simple and user friendly especially with the tutorial. FlyFF is a great place to relax and make new friends.

V13 made FlyFF even better so kiss my.......Besides cool features like housing and the rainbow race., I met my girlfriend in FlyFF! The community is very helpful and nice. I feel like I am a part of something special when playing.

Comment: this is a very fun game, and the updates to v13 improved it! i stopped playing for a while a little after v10 came out and recently started again, and am very glad i started again, it is very fun and has a great community. it is kind of annoying how people always ask for buffs and spam, but, its worth it to play. if i were you i would try out this game right now! there are many fun events which shows that the GMs are very involved, which isn't true with all games, and helps the game grow, so, if you like online adventure games, and like playing with other people, dueling them, and more, try out this game, and you won't be disappointed!

Comment: Flyff (Fly for Fun) is a great game if you are looking for a friendly community and a game where you won"t get bored of. Lately, Flyff has introduced their latest version of Flff, V13. Features included in this new version are the Couple System, Rainbow Race, Coral Island and a new housing system.

Couple System:
The new couple system is a very nice system which provides couples with certain skills and items at an appointed level. However, there are the downsides to this system. 90 STRAIGHT DAYS 24/7 ONLINE TO GET TO THE MAX LEVEL. Now...although I like this game, i have school and things therefore to get to max level in the couple system would mean i need to play for a minimum of one year or so...Not so attractive anymore is it? RATING: 7

Coral Island: Not much to say here but a new Island with mid level monsters. Very good for grinding as the mobs are large and aren"t aggros but the drops aren"t all that well. Would be nice if there"s an event giving people several free tickets to the Island. Other than that its fine. RATING: 9

Rainbow Race: Ahhh, the newly introduced Rainbow Race. Fun and all...good for people who get bored from grinding. The fee IMO is a bit too much 1mil? bit hefty if you ask me (because im not the richest in the game xD). Overall, very good feature but should be held more often and not just on Saturdays. RATING: 8

Housing System: Cool feature but IMO the houses are a bit too small. Pretty cool place to chill out with your couples ^^ RATING: 9

Things worth mentioning:
The Mayor of the cities who used to be a girl became an African. IMO this is pretty cool and he looks better

Changes in the Character Info window became much better. It is much more easier to see you attack and stats.

Fame Names have changed a bit (eg Apprentice Fighter) and its very nice IMO

Overall Flyff
Graphics: Flyff"s graphics revolve around a anime-ish style. To me its attractive and cute. Skills have nice animations and all. VERY NICE. RATING: 9

Community: Very friendly community. I"ve encountered people who gave me a free armoury which was worth 2mil. Parties are nice and the people are very helpful. Flyff"s community is one of the most friendly one I"ve encountered and the leveling process is much easier with the community. RATING: 10

Sound: The sound is quite basic not much to say, nothing quite special to me. RATING: 6

Flying Feature: MOST UNIQUE FEATURE EVER! Saves a lot of time traveling through the Flyff Universe! Very Fun! RATING:10

Gameplay: Same as most game the Click and Hit, WASD and SPACEBAR to walk and jump or with mouse. Best is the flying feature. Quests aren"t lengthy (unless you do those lvl70+ ones). PVP is nice as you get fame. Leveling can get hard but if you find a nice party and partner or a "Plvler", it is a breeze. RATING: 9.5

Conclusion:
The introduction of V13 has provided only good and nothing bad to the game. The features itself may have flaws but then again it doesn"t affect your progress in the game but only help (eg. Although Couples take long to reach max level but on the other hand it only does good not bad). Also, Flyff as a game overall does not have many flaws and is hence shown in my rating ^^ Cheers

Comment: Fly for Fun, or FlyFF as it is often called, is a fun, free, cartoonish, fantasy MMORPG.

When you first start the game you a a vagrant, the low-level default class. You are then immediately struck by the sheer cuteness of the game. A avatars are small and cute, the graphics are fun and colorful; hell, even the monsters are cute looking.

After a surprisingly enjoyable first session you reached level 15 and have to make the choice of what class you shall choose. The classes are unique and surprisingly balanced later in the game, so I picked the class that appeals to me the most, the magician.

After a few weeks or so in this very fun world, you get to pick your second class, I choose Elementor and I'm quite amazed I got this far. There have been very few games where I've got to a fairly high level, an I put it down on the amount of attention the dev's gve this game, there's constant events and the GM's are very helpful. This isn't even counting how pleasing the game is to the eyes.

I'll take this spot to mention another thing, Flying. Flying is really quite fun and saves a lot of transport time, which I guess is why this game is called Fly for Fun xD.

PvP is pretty balanced, despite what some people say, and almost every single class can be good at it.

I'm giving this game a 9, not a 10 because I believe a game has to be perfect for it to get a 10, and if there was a perfect game no one would be making any new ones.

The game isn't perfect, but it comes extremely close.

I am boy from London, i am aged 19 almost 20 now, when I say to people I love flyff they always laugh at me coz they just stupid and have no gaming life, anyway back to flyff lolz, i played many many free online games but none of them are better than flyff, I won’t give names because I would rate them really low and i don’t want to give online games a bad reputation. There were many version of flyff I have been playing flyff since v6 I believe this was back-in 3-4 years ago, and I still love the game.

So whets good about v13, the new update, there’s many good things, I would truly advise you to read more about it on flyff gpotatoe website. Game now has new great map (island), new housing system, flying competitions and more +many great updates. Great thing about flyff is the community is the one that can post new ideas on the forums on flyff, so you can see an update that someone or somebody has thought of. Like when they bought them backpacks to the game. If you already are a member then you know what i am talking about, it’s actually really addicting game, so make sure you take regular breaks, otherwise you start losing weight like me, when cutting the lunch and dinner :) lolz. If you haven’t played the game I would strongly recommend you to at least try the game, I promise you will love it.

The best part about new v 13 update is the couple system lolz, if you haven’t had a GF or BF for a while its new way to spark up that relationship with someone online, what do you know, maybe you will find your true lover online :) lol, I know many people that have done this, it’s crazy but true. In the game when you become a couple with someone and you have a strong relationship you will start getting in game bonuses which is great.

So I rate this game 8/10

Well what I think about flyff is that it is a great game, but there could be some up and down about the game sometimes. I will be commenting on defferent section of the game as much as I can..

Gameplay: Well... the gameplay of this game is really simple which I love, just click and wait(depending on class). The lvling can be a pain in the butt sometimes cause it is hard to gain exp, but hey who says a game can be easy, I like the challenge to a lvl. Gameplay: 8.5 out of 10.

Events: Ah! yes the events that goes on in fly. I think some event are really good and some are just a complete failure. Like the moon and sunstone drop event, its like umm yea it dont even increase drops of moons and suns it decrease the drop of it so no point in those events. The one I like the most are what I call "The Money Making events" I like those events cause I can make a lot of money so I will like to see more of those :p. Oh and the firework box event is also useless to do, cause the drop rate of it is horrible and yes I know many people use it to lag the server, so why do that event at all if you dont want people to lag the server.. or is it that you guys are running out of ideas :P. Events: 7.5 out of 10.

Coummunity: Hmmm.. Well the community is the same as any other selling, re-selling and make the $_$ lol.. Well there are some people that can be rude to players at sometimes and some that can be very nice, but hey thats how it is there has to be a evil so a good can exist. But on the other hand many people are easy to talk to then others. Coummnity: 7 out of 10.

PvP: This section I dont have a lot to say just to put this on here so I wont miss it and since it is a important part on the game. Many people love to pvp and some dont, but what I seen since I been playing is that many people complain about how they die to much or they are getting pick on.. So all I have to say is that DONT COME IN THE ARENA AND DONT EXPECT TO LIVE!! People well pick on you no matter what.. PvP: 6.5 out of 10.

Graphics/Music: ROFL! Well i like the flyff graphics their so small and cute looking /blush. The buffing graphics are pretty awesome to look at SHINY! O.O
and everything look basically the same lol. Maybe thats why they have cs to make people look different lol.. The music is good thats all I got to say about music /ridic.. Graphics/Music: 8.5 out of 10.

Flying: WHEEEE!! The flying in flyff is really simple which I like, but i think they could be more creative with the skys and the boards/bikes etc.
What I think is that sometimes flying can be really boring to look at so why not add like stars in the skys, bubbles or gas smoke coming from behind the flying item. I dunno just be more creative plox, it is call *FLY*ff. Flying: 6.5 out of 10.

Now to V13 :()..

Couple system: What I think about the relationship or partner system what ever you like to call it. Is that lvling it can be really S-L-O-W.. And the items you get from it is not even a motivation to lvl it up anymore.. Its like WTH 4 freaken lvls and how many days and we only get some dumb fireworks and transys e.e BORING!!! Don't get me wrong I love getting free stuff, but working this hard and burning up your pc just for some fire works and transys and wings. But the good thing is that it does bring you closer to people :).
Couple System: 6 out of 10.

Coral Island: I got nothing much to say here since i wont go here untill i make a new character. All i got to say is....FINALLY! Low lvl and mid-lvl players get a nice place to train. I like this idea and its more easier for me to make a new character :). Coral Island: 9 out of 10.

Rainbow Race (RR): OMG FINALLY somthing fun to do then just grinding. I like the rainbow race I got nothing to complain about lol. Even though you dont place you still get RR boxes so thats a motive for me to join the RR anyday lol. Rainbow Race: 9.5 out of 10.

Element/Buffing/Mob: Many players have complain or express their emotions about this part. How fly change their element (+). But I think its a okay thing to do I wouldnt change it since a lot of people are use to V12 element armor (+) Also flyff has tooken out the 0 dmg which I think is a bad thing to do and the +3 element dont have a good effect no more which sucks. But the good thing is more SHINE!! WOOT i like to be shiny lol.. One thing that also change is the buffing, many people dont like how this has change into ABC order (Is it ABC order??) This mess up many AOE'ers since they like how their buffs are already set and plus prev is in a different spot and some people arent use to that yet because of V12's buffing orders is what ever you like first. Since I am a aoe'er I like to set up my buffs myself so I know where everything is and I wouldn't like to change it. Its just like when someone come and decided just to change your seat and you liked that seat and been sitting there for many yrs. Sorry for the bad metaphor or simile lol. Grinding what I heard and experince is that the mobs dmg is 100 stronger correct me if I am wrong. This make it harder for us Aoe'er to aoe, but oh well who says games are easy. Element: 5 out of 10 Buffing: 4.5 out of 10 Mob Dmg Change: 5 out of 10.

Housing System: This is part of V13 is a little dissapointing to me, I vision it to be more creative then just talking to a npc and POP! right in your house. What I thought is that you could acctually see your house and dont need to talk to a npc to get in your house. Another thing is the Cash Shop items for your house, The cs items only last for 7 days for your house I think thats kind useless for spending gpot for those cs items. No money for you there Gala. Housing: 3.5 out of 10.

Different Color Npc: LOL! just wanted to bring this up cause its funny. Now in V13, the mayor has change into a African American. Thats pretty nice to change one npc to a different color. Rating: NONE

Titles: I like the new titles of flyff in V13, dont know why people complain about it, and plus in the future I am planning to get some of them lol. Titles: 9 out of 10.

Well thats all I can think off to judge and critize about lol.. But for overall of flyff and V13 I give it a 7 out of 10. Many people would think differently but this is what I think about it. I seen many people quit and things change but thats just like reality, things change and accpet it with open arms And yes the truth hurts and yes I wont give good overalls just to win, I speak the truth and only the truth :P.

Comment: Hey, in the game, I hear many complain that they receive all of the low exp and also it is very difficult to find someone who you can have as a partner (in party) to get more exp.Of course it's a good idea to give more exp when you have a partner to get players to play together.A few people tend to always have the "auto-say-program" that's spamming in cities in flyff.To to solve this problem, I think you should consider 2 solutions: 1.If you play alone, raise the experience per hour you play. 2.Make a "find a partner system" where you see a list of players online, and you can select which jobs they are. Kind of like the Messenger and Guild system tabs.

Comment: Flyff is what i think one of the best games around even if it takes a while to get to lvl 60.

gameplay:
Well this game does have good gameplay since games like runescape dont let you use skills in combat (they dont have any unless you count magic). And when you compare the replayability (is that even a word?) it is a long way ahead of most other games because you get to change jibs again at lvl 60 so im giving gameplay 7.5 out of 10.

Comunity:
The comunity is great! Even though most of the time people are afk because they are useing a private shop i havent once encounterd a bot and you will rarely find anyone who is rude to you unless you realy anoy them so im giveing the comunity 9 out of 10.

Flying:
The flying is great since you can get pretty much any where faster than it would be to walk. the additionof the rainbow race was good but if the acsesibilty of it was better i would realy like it and the other problem with it is you have to pay to take part in it so realy not many low lvls would want to take part in it because they need to buy equipment with their money.so I will have to give flying 6 out of 10.

The pets are good the only draw back being you have to feed the stat pets tons just to keep them alive but if u get a good final stat lvl it can be so worth it.Then there are pick up pets the best thing about pick up pets is you dont need to feed them and they sell for masive prices if you get bored with them so all in all the pets are by far one of the best fetures i think in flyff so im giving it 10 out of 10.

pvp:
Pvp isnt realy my ball gamesince i repetitivly get killed because i prefer healing assists so if you like pvp dont be a healer. There is a pvp server where you can fight anyone at any time (demian) but on the others you have to go to the arena or ask somebody elses permision to fight them. pvp is normaly everyman or women for them selfs but if you want you can join a group and take down other players by atacking that one person with the rest of the group. Pvp might be better for other people but im going to give it a 6.5 out of 10.

graphics:
The graphics are good if you want some thing that asult your eyes overly fastpaced action and gore since the graphics are happy and cheerful so they wont let you take you take your anger out on werewolves which means this game is fine for kids which means if you hav a overly protective parent this is the game for you.

The game client is very smallcompared to games like drem of miror online which took my 2 days to down load because it was so big and then i found out I dident have enough space for it so this game will be great for people that want a good game but have low end computers. so id give the download 10 out of 10.

before you close the reveiw I would like to say I sorely wish i could give this game more than 10 out of 10 because this is the best game i have EVER played. Can i do that?

Contrary to what you might think, the games' name *Fly For Fun* doesn't imply that this games main focus is flying. It consists mostly of building up your character into several different classes, be it the mercenary, magician, assist or acrobat by fighting a wide variety of monsters.

Gameplay 7.5/10

Well let's be honest here, this game can become quite the grindfest. There isn't much for you to do besides click a monster and wait for it to die, rince and repeat. However you can party up with up to 8 friends to help each other or to participate in other activites such as sieges and giant monster hunting.

There's a wide variety of skills for you to use depending on your class, some are more oriented for PvP while others are more appropriate for fighting monsters.

Community 7/10

Like any MMO, this game has a mixed community of good and bad. However, for having played other games before, I would say that FlyFF's community is nice towards new players and that most of the time you should find someone willing to help you.
There is a guild system in FlyFF which is well thought out. Top guilds get the chance to participate in different sieges to get rewards.

Music 4/10

FlyFF's weak point, the games music consists mostly of *elevator music*, save a few good themes. The sound effects are alright though. But you can turn off the sound anyways.

Graphics 8.5/10

FlyFF's graphics, although they're not technically the best out there, are very appealing and cheerful. I can say that it's possible to run this game on a not-so-good computer just fine though, which is always a plus. Also the environment changes according to the real world seasons, which is nice.

PvP 7/10

Many people will tell you that FlyFF PvP is heavily imbalanced. While it is true that a few classes are disadvanted, I think it's quite enjoyable when you know what you're doing. There is a PK server (Demian) where you can fight people anywhere, but on other servers you must go to the arena, siege arena or you must agree to duel someone in order to fight.

Overall 8/10

I picked this game a few months ago and I still love it as much as I did the first day I played. Just try it out, it's free so you have nothing to lose ^^

Coral Island
With the introduction of V13 the new continent of Coral Island was introduced. It is a great place for lower level players because of the added experience and drop rate bonuses. The tickets are not free but with the amount of money you can make training there the tickets more than pay for themselves. Plus even if you can’t find a partner to go with you because it is a pay portion of a free game, the experience alone is still better than training with a partner in the free sections of the map and you get to keep all your drops so it is a win win situation.

Couple System
V13 added several new features to help make training easier. One of those features is the marriage system. As you pick a spouse and let your union develop, you get special bonus items and special couple buffs. The buffs and free items are a very nice bonus to those who are playing, but are not really enough to get someone to play otherwise. It takes around 3 full months to get your union level maxed out and your spouse quitting the game could amount to 3 months wasted.

Housing system
Another way to improve your leveling speed is to buy cash shop furniture, now available to furnish your new house. These cash shop items can add strength, attack, defense, intelligence, dexterity and other stats for a limited time. The cost of the items don’t really make them a good option for normal training but it is nice to have the option available for those who wish to take advantage. The house itself is on the small side and if your character happened to be claustrophobic would most like send them into a fit, but it is the new homes introduced in V13 are a very nice safe places to stay logged over night or to meet with friends.

Improved Elemental System
Changes have been made to the upgrading system that allows for elemental upgrading to +20, instead of the previous +10. The additional damage is nice for leveling up but it is a massive added expense and not worth the real life investment of dollars in my opinion. The addition of a scroll of element change is worth the investment, you can change the element of a weapon to be more effective against a given spawn and even though it is a large investment for a consumable item it makes leveling easier and saves inventory room by not needing more than one weapon.

Master Fame/Rainbow Race
But Flyff goes far beyond just grinding and leveling and one major new change to the game is all about fun, pure and simple. The master fame system lets complete in game tasks and then get a special title next to your name so you can brag to the world you are a master, be it at eating lollipops or killing clockworks. The Rainbow Race is just as fun. Once a week you get a chance to enter a race around Madrigal to see who is the fastest at completely a series of 7 mini games. The prizes for completely are well worth the million penya entry fee, but I fear the entry fee might be a little steep for new players because I see mostly higher users participating. Plus if you don’t have high speed internet you might not be able to log on to server 1, where the race takes place, do to the large amount of lag that is common in towns on Server 1.

All in all Flyff is a great game with lots of different ways to waste time, if you don’t feel like grinding, you can collect, play in the arena, join a guild, vend, shop, or farm. There is usually a new contest every week, which are usually a great way to make money and win prizes and there is also no shortage of kind people in the flyff community willing to help out someone in need either in game or on the forums.

Couples System
You can become a couple with a friend or leveling partner, and as the two of you are online on the same channel at the same time, you'll be gaining Couple Experience. Use this Couple's Experience to unlock free items like Cash Shop bikes and pets!

Housing System
Ever wanted somewhere to just chill and not be bothered, or to talk with friends without having people interrupt? There's something for this too in version 13. Visit NPC [Charlie] in Flaris, and check out your house! You can also buy Premium Shop furniture that gives you additional stats for when your out there on the battlefield.

Rainbow Race
Every Saturday (in the California, United States time-zone), you can participate in the Rainbow Race. To participate, you must have 1 million penya (FlyFF currency) and visit the Rainbow Race NPC in Darkon city. Once the time comes, everyone races to one of 7 zones across the entire Madrigal map. Complete challenges such as winning Rock paper Scissors games, doing basic arithmetic, and completing typing challenges for a chance at cool prizes at the end, should you come in the top-10 (it's a race, remember!). Even just participating gets you prizes if you complete all the challenges within the 2-hour time limit.

Coral Island
Coral Island is a Premium area, that you need a ticket from the premium-shop to access (or you can buy one in-game with penya). Coral Island has monsters ranging from Level 43 to Level 69, and for each one you kill, you'll get twice the Experience you''d get outside of Coral at the same leveled monsters.

Another addition to FlyFF in Version 13 is a second channel in both Coral Island and Azria (Azria is basically the Coral Island for monsters leveled 73 to 115). Someone bothering you in a premium area and all of the servers are chalk full of mobs? Try the other channel for some free space to train in.

Overall, I give V13 an 8 out of 10.
The only con's I can see are the fact that realistically, I don't see the houses being used for what they were intended to be used for, because the NPC furniture you can buy in-game doesn't add any stats and the Premium-Shop ones are kind of expensive, as compared to the stats they add. Also, the Couples System does take quite a long time to level up a couple, so be prepared. It's about 24 hours of being online (both of you) to get from Couple level 1 to Couple Level 2.

Comment: Fly for Fun or more commonly knows as FlyFF is the typical Free MMORPG. Complete with grinding, farming, gold sellers, bots, and hacking. But there are a few features that makes this game stand out.

Gameplay 8/10
The game play is Great in everything except the grind. You start off as a vagrant and change classes at level 15. Then at level 60 you change classes again. This adds a ton of re-playability. The grind is probably the worst grind I've ever done. Double click...wait...wait...next mob...repeat. The selection of skills is small and gets old really fast

Tech 9/10
Tech as in music, graphics, interface; all that. Graphics are a little outdated but everything else fits with the game. The music is okay too, in some zones at least.

Flying 10/10
Come on, You can fly. Anywhere too! You can't say that's not awesome. There is also flying combat, but is pretty much useless.

Addictiveness 8/10
20-60 was for seemed to fly. Maybe it was just for the sake of reaching the second class.

Community 6/10
Factoring out all the Chinese gold sellers, bots, hackers, farmers, beggars...You get about 10% of the population being good community.

Pvp 7/10
Meh. Its okay. Pretty fun at times especially when you do a guild war. There are pvp "levels" but are just titles and are more like achievements. Pvp takes part mainly in the arena just dueling basically.

Economy 7/10
Have fun farming if you don't want to spend money on the cash shop or gold sellers. Basically all the rich people spend tons of money on the game or tons of time farming. The shops are stand alone personal shops. Not as much depth as an Auction house but its a good way to eliminate spamming (WTS, WTB, etc.).

Overall 8/10
Overall this game is a fairly good game with some depth and re-playability. In the end all this game is, is a grind.

Interesting vibrant colors create a whole new world as the player goes through many class choices. they can choose between four beginning classes (Mage,Assist,Mercenary,Ranger) these three classes separate into 6 different classes toward higher levels. 2 for each primary class. this creates more variety which keeps the game going. Most players are friendly and will help you start out. It is a GREAT GAME, but very addictive if you can get a charachter to level 60 I PROMISE you will give this game a review of 10/10 I have....

Comment: Flying, PvPing, leveling, pet taming, communicating, exploring, boss hunting, fighting ClockWorks/Red meteo, buying armors and weapons off people to increase your strengh, building up the perfect build for your class, customizing your character with CashShop items (don't necessarily buy them yourself from the CashShop, but can buy them off people also with Penya), are the amazing aspects of the game, FlyFF.

I give this game a 10 for its updates, community, unique gameplay (not another medieval game), graphics, and much more!

The only downfall in this game, in my opinion, is that there should be an easier way to upgrade higher than +3 other than relying on gpotato items that cost alot ingame (with Penya). Other than that, this game is totally worth it.

You'll notice that most of the negative reviews come from people that don't know much from the game and that have spent about 5 hours on the game or 10 trying to do stuff an informed person would achieve in 2 hours. (You can't really judge this game until you're level 60 at least, and I guarantee you'll love it at 75. ^^)

Comment: I'm not exactly sure what people see in this game... Maybe.. Just maybe I didn't play enough, but I have a level 24 or 25 mercenary and there didn't seem to be very many quests. Well at least there didn't seem to be any quests that were fun. Most of the time I was just grinding... The graphics are all right but nothing special. I didn't listen to much music in the game but from what I heard it wasn't exciting. One of my friends was constantly talking about this game for about a year. He said it was so damn epic and awesome. When I played I decided to at least get to level 20 and try flying. It's not very exciting. You can kill stuff while you fly but it's just fuckin' hard. Mainly because you have to fly beside a monster, stop and hope it doesn't move, then hit it. The community is okay... There is, of course some annoying, idiotic people in the game and some nice people who will help you. Over all it's an average game. Maybe I didn't play enough, but I didn't really want to play more, since I found it boring. Give it a try, at least get to level 15 - 20 before you decide anything. 6/10

Comment: ok for starters this game is fun i have a lvl 65 rm (ring master) a lvl 68 knight and a bunch of lvl 20+ characters i dont like lvling because it gets boreing after awhile so i manly hang out in the arena with my friends. In this game the people here are cool some of them are ******* but if u ignore them then u can manage 2 stay the graphics are cool a bit scary at first but after awhile its cool i never heard the background music because i have my ipod on everytime i play. The guilds are pretty cool i am in a guild at the moment i cant remember the name though so sorry. The npc shops i hate because they have a tax thingy on them now so dont get mad at the GM get mad at the Guild that put the prices of the npc shop iteams that high. Every thing in this game is manly cash shop related but players sell those iteams for a pretty penny in the game so if i was u i would do the quest earn the money grind but grind with poeple not by your self and of course u should hang out with people in the arena. So i am going to give this game a 10/10 because it rocks to me. And if u think that this game runs 2 slow or the download is taking to long get a better computer or motom.

Comment: One great game. It"s annoying at first, they stab you with not much penya from monsters, but when you fight higher lvl monsters...YEAH LOTS OF MONEY! But it"s great so here goes:

Graphics: 8/10: Some people quit immediately when they see the cute 3D anime graphics. They just flip out. However, you get used to them. If you have a nice computer, that really helps. It"s sickening at first, but you get used to them. And there"s the details. Yess.

Gameplay: 10/10: There is tons of things to do right after you hit lvl 20! Fly on your broom/board to unexplored lands, shout out something etc. You can do much much more!

Economy: 9/10: Things because ridiculously expensive after your vagrant time. But the game solves that, you gradually get 6 penya each monster to 1000 penya each monster!

Community: 11/10!: People on here are very nice. They"ll come up to you like a beggar but just ask you "Do you want to join my guild?" "Want to join my party?"
"Need a plvler?" "Can you plvl me?" "Can you help?" "Want to help me grind?" "Want this for that?" and so on. And everyone is amazingly careless about what you believe in, the color of your skin, your age, whatever. They"re just there to have fun like you.

Music: 8/10: Annoying after a while, but when you find the music on/off button...

pvp: 9/10: Unlike some games they have two servers where you can PVP. PVP isn"t my thing, they do have an arena, but I can"t tell much.

lvling: 1000/10: Oh my god where to begin...It"s so easy to level until about 50! You can kill some monsters about 4 levels above you and ZOOM you"re to lvl 60 and your third job in no time!

Overall: 10/10, this game is worth the hour long download. will last you 10 years guaranteed :D

Comment: Don't get me wrong, i love this game but there are many bad points to outwiegh the good.
First of all, the translation is amazingly bad.
Sometimes you get messages on your screen which make no sense whatsoever because of this. (this makes me want to offer my help just to translate it for FREE!!)
The point and click to kill and move is rather annoying.
They both tie in together being as you click to kill something but, WAIT you just clicked behind it and are now walking past it.
but you have the option to hold CTRL+CLICK to attack for a little more ease, still annoying though.
I would like to see dual mouse button to walk around using Right button for camera and holding Left to move etc, but, however if you do this you get this take 2 steps then jump in the air and stop moving motion.
Another of the main bad points is the new era of having to use the Cash Shop to play the game to its full extent.
If you dont have the credit card/money to buy GPotatoes, then getting to a high level and being a good high level are really hard.
My last point is something which is somewhat personal, if you are english, finding more english people is a HUGE TASK.
and when you do, it turns out he/she is like 11 years old and is either really annoying or has the vocabulary of a german/swede/pole.


APART FROM THIS XD...
Great fun game,
Loads of great people to meet,
Great skill system (despite what other people have said: i started a magician, and they have plenty of skills to choose from.)
PETS!!! and plenty of them which give you extra benefits such as added INT or DEX etc.
and last but not least the thing i like in a game is UPDATES!!!
They do great updates ranging from XP events to Premium box events(the latest good one :P) and even extra Attack Power events.

Comment: This game is probably no better then most. i played the first version of it then lost internet for about 2-3 years and went back to it, it had changed alot since i had last played it. but in my recent playings i created a new character, got to lvl 15, changed my job class. got to lvl 60, changed it again and i am currently a lvl 67 blade all in no less then a month. i tend to solo but i make good exp. (exp is slower when soloing) its not really hard to get to lvl 60. you just have to know what your doing. also there are a few nice people in the game. i tend to only hang around them and am one. i would be willing to give away very expensive items to starting out noobs. my guild is mostly the same way seeing as how most of my equips are gifts from them.

if you have/had a bad time playing this game then i am sorry and hope you find one you like better. dont just look at the bad qualitys look at the good too. also most all MMORPG are point and click killing games where the point is to become a higher lvl and gain skills. but you cannot forget the Master quest and the Hero Quest in this game. Comment: This game is ok i play this game mostly to kill time, the one thing i don't like is wondering if my account is going to get hacked.
I met players that clam that they got hacked and send an email letting them know what have happen to there account.I hear the same the GM(GameMasters) Didn't do anything about it! Your char do not exist end of story.I haven't heard anything good when you lose your account, so far it seem you lose it for good.Two players was good customers i mean shouldn't they have there payments on what they bought and think they should do something? Like i don't know give him a new high lvl char or something?or the things he bought even though he might have use them already but he did just get hacked.
anyways these are stories from players i met and quit they didn't want to play and try to reach lvl 92/105 again.They should have a better Hacking system.

This is a good Team Effort Game and there's many things that have a change like many "not so nice players". I don't play a lot i do have a life but i do have some high lvl chars i play with sometimes for me is hard to find someone that can help my low lvl chars to lvl up. Some people can make friends easy some cant, nice players for me anyways are hard to find but they are out there.

Comment: I remember playing flyff about a year ago, i played for around a month, on and off and got to a level around the late 20s region. after playing alot of the free mmo's on the current market i am tempted to make a return to this. What this game is, is a giant hurdle, by which i mean the tutorial - there isnt one. However what lies after this is a community like no other, imagine runescape's community, turned completly on its head. Everyone i met in flyff seemed very, very polite and helpful. I even found that after a week i had about 20 people on my friends list. This is very uncommon in a free mmo. The graphics arnt much to look at, high detail looks the same as low detail in general. Character models are quite well done, although the outcome looks like a korean schoolboy (intended?). The sound most people found annoying, for me i just found it a little plain but not unbearable. The gameplay is basically grinding, aiding by some generous quests and an exellent party-levelling feature which awards people who stick together with more xp. The quests in general are kill X and fetch X. Strangly i found some of the stories a little inspiring, although i was high on caffeine and at early hours. The lifespan for me was sadly only a month. I what you would call a spoilt batch in the mmo genre, i tend to judge every game against WoW, regardless of whether it is free or not. In conclusion this is no wow beater, but it is a maplestory better thats for sure.

Graphics: 9/10 They are adorable and anime-like, and I love how the environment changes to the season.

Gameplay: 10/10!! It's amazing! There are many skills, and alot of them you don't have in other games, such as that skill on acrobats where you can steal money from your opponent. Theres a lot of stuff to do, too. Make friends, meet NPC's, do quests, grind here and there, and heres something you don't see in your average game - plvling! :O

PvP: I don't care much for PvP, but that I would give 8/10. No comment :P

Community and People: 10/10! Everyone but 2 or 3 people I met were very friendly and caring. There are people who will help you level up and people who will give you stuff practically for free. (Once this guy sold me 2 eggs for only 10 penya each O_O) Most will ask you to party and join a guild, whitch most of the time is useful, but at other times... well...

1st time asked to join a guild: Oooh I'm actually qualified to join a guild! Wewt I'm not a noob OH YEAH! O_o

After I quit, 2nd time: Sure... o_o

10th time: No sorry.. unless your guild warehouse is open NO. xD

25th time: Leave me ALONE! I don't want to join your frikkin guild!

40th time: GAH! GET AWAY YOU REQUESTS! I DONT WANT TO JOIN YER GUILD! LEAVE ME ALONE!~!!!

And so on... until I found the perfect guild. (MetallicA is my fave guild.)

Economy: 6/10 They aren't doing so well. 2 years ago, the cost to change the color and style of your hair was 6k penya. Not so bad. Now-a-days, it costs 6 million penya. See my point?

Sound effects: 5/10 BG music gets rlly annoying. REALLY. ANNOYING. The sound effects themselves are really silly and sometimes squeaky and annoying, but they are alright.

Comment: I"ve played this game for about 2 years now and I enjoy it quite a bit. For those of you who only focus on the leveling aspect of the game, of course you gave it a bad review. This game is 70% Community and 30% leveling.

Graphics: 8/10 They"re cartoonish and even frightening at first but you grow to like them.

Gameplay: 10/10 This is where it got me. x3 There are so damn many things to do. You can go slaughter some monsters, hang out with friends, or just explore.

PvP: 7/10 This was much better when each cluster had a PvP server. They have an arena now though and that can still be entertaining.

Community: 10/10 Nearly everyone is helpful despite the occasional ass who can"t speak proper english. They are open and willing to lend you a hand (or even money if you ask nicely) if you need it.

Music: 6/10 This is an aspect that can be improved on. The sound effects are alright..but the back ground music...-shudder- Well, let me explain it.

While yes it is a grindfest...really what FREE
mmorpg isnt?

Second, this is the first game I was compelled to stay (after the grindfest dicovery) because of the community...the people are truly nice ppl
with exceptions but if your stuck dont just wander aimlessly looking for that exclamtion point over an NPC just ask someone...for the most part if they speak the same language and are not an *** theyll point you in the right direction or take you.
Third, MAKE FRIENDS!!!!!! seriously the community's that big that no matter what god/demi god/no god/fashion label you worship you will find ppl to hang out with and lvl with.
Lastly, unlike some ridiculous game sthat have the annoying auction/trade function, Flyff allows you to open up shop pretty much anywhere and take advantage of the still growing community and make mondo $$$.
If your looking for a game that you can put some thought into and then just sit back grind and chat with friends then download this you wont be dissapointed.
EASY 8/10

Comment: Flyff is a really fun game once you get the hang of things. When i first started i got my char to 20, got the hang of things, and made a new one. It takes about 2-3 hours at the most to get to level 20 so idk why people are complaining about it. Flyff has lots of skills to use and you do more than just grind all the time. The PvP is awesomely fun theres a big arena where you just basically go crazy and kill people. It is hard in the beginning but once you get 60 its esy and it doesn't take long to get to 60. I can get to level 60 in 2 days, 3 at the most ( and only takes 3 sometimes because i don't always play ). I now have 7 60+ chars and one 96 char ( my main ) and almost 2b worth of items. Graphix aren't the best, most people see the graphix and quickly quit the game but if you just give it a chance it'll be worth it :>

Comment: It was fun for about 5 mins. Alot of grinding even at low levels. The tutorial was messed up when I played it. But the thing that bothered me the most is that the whole time you're playing FlyFF, you get this feeling that no one wants you around. Most of the players where snobby as hell, and for no reason! Seems to cater towards the higher level players.

Comment: I just wonders... Why are all the people, who are complaining on this game, only nooobs who havent even reached lvl 20?! You say its tough to lvl up in this game, but hey, it takes me like just 2-3 hours to lvl to 20, and if you do it in like 10 hours, you ARE a noob, live with it!!!

Graphics: Really nice! Nothing wrong with it, but i guess you have to like cartoonish graphics if you"re gonna like it at all. And it will NOT lagg, unless you have a pice of junk computer!!! Wich people seem to complain at...

Gameplay: Well i know its a hell lot of grinding in Flyff, but you level quite fast, so what the heck... The fighting system is ok, depends on what class you like to play as, some hates to play as mages as it takes time to use with your spells and you have low defence, and some love that way. Personally i play as merc as you kill mobs faster, but i guess its not as fun as the other classes. Whatever...
There could have ben more skills, and BETTER QUESTS!!!! The most common quests you do, is all about getting quest items from mobs, who almost never drops them, and after some time you cant even get them anymore cuz your to high level for that kind of mob. And then you find youself bying the items for like 10-30k each... but the other quests are quite ok.

Music: I really like the music in this game! It has that special kind of feeling. Its not super, but it aint bad either.

Overall, i give this game a 8, becouse its a quite decent game after all. And everyone who think it stinks, are just noobs who dont even gives the game a chance and level to like lvl 10 or something...

graphics 8/10 good but could have improvements

movement 8/10 at lvl 20+ you can fly which gives the game a whole new feel
pvp 6/10 they offer a pvp arena dueling and guild combat but only one server offers pking which makes the game kind of boring if you like to pk
community 9/10 very nice people and not run by 8 year olds like many other games
cash shop items 8/10 expensive but cool and helpful
money making 9/10 its not hard at all to gain cash
lvl system 10/10 unlike most games this one has a balance lvl speed for its lvl cap
overall id give it a 9/10 cuz it could still be improved but its a very fun game

Comment: Flyff; the name caught my eye a few times when I was scanning GameOgre.com for games. I just never had the heart to download it...and when I finally did, I was, quite literally, amazed. Here"s my review.

Graphics/Sound - The game"s graphics are quite good for a free MMORPG. They have some cute and amazingly detailed anime style characters and weapons, and the monsters are detailed enough that you may tell most of them apart.

The background music gets repetitive, and fast. For most of your areas, you have the standard background music, and then some other random sounds may join in (such as you attacking a monster, jumping, walking, etc.) It"s nothing worth listening to, but it adds to the atmosphere a bit.

Gameplay/Difficulty - The gameplay is your standard point and click to attack, and you have your skills and magics, which you may assign hotkeys to. But one interesting feature is the combo hotkey, which is located to the bottom right of your standard playing screen. You may add two or more different skills to that hotbar (only if the skills are able to be used together; you can tell they are if they "connect" to each other), and when you press the assigned key, your character casts those skills one at a time until it reaches the last skill on the list, or runs out of energy or Magic.

The game"s actually quite difficult in terms of staying alive. The Player Versus Monster maps are filled with enemies (some even flying high up in the sky), and contains a fair amount of dungeons. You also gain experience at a fairly slow rate, so it"s not quite safe to say that it"s a grind yet. I only played until level 22 on a Mage, so I leveled pretty fast considering I could kill things a few levels higher than I was.

Events/Quests - The quests include standards to most MMORPGs; your collection quests and hunting quests are abound, not to mention a slew of other, newer quests. I encountered a quest once (I was unable to do it, but a friend of mine was) that require you to fly to a certain part of the map and back. It was new, but nothing too big.

Events are bland and never there when you want them, or are able to do them. They usually require you to go and kill some monsters for a unique drop, or you get 2 times the experience for an allotted amount of time.

Community/Guilds - The community is VERY friendly! I"ve never met a friendlier community in any MMORPG. Anybody will happily join a party with you, and some will even invite you to their guild. I made quite a few friends (a total of 52, and that"s ACTIVE friends!), and I still keep in touch with most of them through messengers.

The guilds are decent and provide moderate help, and are enhanced to provide a guild storage warehouse and even, at times, guild events may be held officially.

This game is a really good play, and it doesn"t get boring for quite a while. It"s safe to say that this game is definitely worth the download and play.

I"ll give this game...

A 9 - 10!

A must play for any MMORPG fan.

A PS review: I never hit on the flying part of the game, so here it is; it"s great and fun, and really awkward. But with the right training, I was up and flying in no time at all! It adds a whole new atmosphere to the game entirely.

Comment: ok i just made and acount to say what i think about my personal favriot game. True lvling gets boring. my main guy i havent lvled in weeks now? but theres tons of fun things to do. The Community ranges from kind people, to jerks who'll just say, "ha, u nub i beat u nub" and when u see those guys, u think wow hes a noob. then theres the people that r awesome that u can be freinds with and talk to, trust me lvling is alot less boring when your freinds there. You can also either 1v1 duel your freinds, or go to the arena and just kill everyone who trys to kill your freind, seeking revenge for your fallen freind. Needless to say its like any game, it can be boring if u make it that way, or a great time. (it helps to make freinds my brother has no freinds and quits alot then comes back and quits)

I don't know about the other version but I began playing in October (v9?) and there was no pk in mushpoie server?? well some ppl complaint that it was removed and others say its better, i think it is better now. i dont like ppl trying to kill me. Other feature I like but its from v11 (v12? idk what version we are now) is that theres PvP arena now and u don't loose ur status...
About the community, theres people who help others even by their own will (yesterday many RM's helped me by buffing my merc and I didn't requested nothing from them), and theres the others that only want to leech or bug u around... lets not generalize, theres good and bad ppl in all games.
Other cool thing is the Guild Siege, its really a nice show if u're watching from the spectator place and u dont have nothing else to do that day... xD
Although the good stuff, i realize theres too much grinding to move forward to the other lvl after lvl 65. Also now i'm bored of the same music... (be4 u play, put some music on your background lol)...
Another thing I don't like is that egg-hatched pets die easily, u have to feed'em constantly and if u get disconnected from the pet might die because u will probably remain connected and be killed or because the pet ran out of Hp T_T
Last issue is the invasion events: kill Clockworks! my god! thats crazyness, ppl come out even from under the rocks and u get all the lag you didnt experienced in a whole year lmao...also the stupid clockworks are AOE's! and u die and bye bye 5% exp! theres also lots of other giant that would kill u or chase u (last invasion i was chased by 10 giant rockepeller o_O wtf?)
after all, I give Flyff an 8!

Comment: This game was pretty good, until level 20. First, you have to grind till level 7 just to start doing quests. Then you grind until level 15 to get your class. Then you grind to level 20 to fly. Thats about all the fun is, if you like to grind. I enjoyed it because the community was pretty friendly. After level 20, the word grind takes on a whole other meaning. Grind - Sit in front of your computer for 12 hours before you get a single level. Quests are stupid, they tell you to go collect something that a monster drops once every 100 kills, and it requires 80 of them. The monster gives no experience too. So it kinda sucks after 20. First few levels are enjoyable though, along with a good community. Overall 6

I thought differently towards this game. I saw most of you either hated the community or the tutorial or the grinding. I have only played korean MMO's that make you grind (this seemingly made WoW look like a deity). I played this during summer (i call it grind fest month). I'm a lvl 22 merc that needs to re-stat. For the "Buy for Fun" dohicky, its basicly not true.
Also people playing PvP servers are your guys problem. I find guild wars a funner PvP (not "Guild Wars" i mean't a guild war). I also find the cookie cutter grinding true but i Flyff it off. This game is a nice randition of a korean MMO.

Comment: Ah, Fly For Fun... I like to call it Buy For Fun because that"s what you have to do to actually have FUN in this game. It revolves around their overpriced cash shop. So if you don"t like spending money on MMORPGs don"t bother with this one.

Grind. Grind, grind and more grind. Basically there is 1 quest per two levels aside for a few others... These quests ask you to do the same thing over and over, i.e. get x amount of items from x mob. And that"s it. Pitiful quests.

PvP requires no effort whatsoever. You basically just double-click you opponent and it"s over in 2 seconds. PK is also horrible, there is a separate server for PK only and your character is a real bitch to level up.

Skills... horrible skills, horrible skill system horrible wait time and there"s no such thing as combos unless you use the skill slot which you can only use a couple of times until you have to wait 5 minutes for it to cool down.

Jobs. Assist, acrobat, mercenary and magician. Mercenary is probably the most boring of all the classes. Double-click a mob, wait, rinse and repeat. Yawn. Assist is a healing class... prepare to be bombarded with "ONG BUFFZ PL0X11!!11eleventyone1!!11" wherever you go. Mage sucks to level since it takes so long to perform one skill after another it"s a real drag. Acrobat is basically the equivalent of archer with a yo-yo weapon add on. They are weak and are just as bad as mercenaries except you have to spend a LOT more money on them.

Tons of bots in towns, TONS of drop stealers, non stop unfair PK in PK server, scammers everywhere, all in all, crap community.

Graphics is just whatever. Nothing special, though the lag is horrible. Attacking gets tiring to look at as you just do the same attack sequence over and over. Customization is the worst. At character creation you can"t even change your hair colour and it costs millions to change in game so everyone ends up looking the same.

All in all, Flyff, you get a 0 from me because quite frankly, you are terrible.

the class system and class balance is pretty well done. every class can be powerful, and at the same time each class is completely different. character builds can be played around with: out came the creation of the bowjester, a yoyo dude that uses a bow even though he/she is not supposed to.

its well done, constantly being upgraded and changed according to the complaints of the people, the community isnt bad idk where people got that from, you cant just buy as many HP pots as you want and never die: sort of realistically theres a limit to how much you can eat at once, okay graphics that surprisingly work well on low end computers, unique skill point system, i love it!

Comment: I played it year or two ago and quited. I made my char (melee) to lvl 35 or something. I got a very good sword from one quest, I started to pimp it with elemental cards and it disappeared. (I had heard about that rule, but i thought the cards were those what disappear, not weps). Well, i got angry about that and started a new char. I made him to lvl 10, then quited. The only point of this game is killing killing and killing. When u go to PK server and kill some1, u'll go to jail and have to kill 200 monsters, it takes many hours :). No other skills in the game but killing... -.- Even quests contain killing only. The great part is flying, the graphics are also quite good. Music is awful.

Comment: this is an absolutely awsome game, ive read a few comments in here and dang, alot of em are hating. for something as free such as this i think it deserves more credit, alot more. im no newbie either. i have played 1 year in half on and off(i didnt want to get addicted) and trust me when i say this, flyff is defenetly one of the best mmorpg out there,(i have tried alot)... for ppls information this game is a newbie lover, and ppl do help. because for like a month i would guide ppl through the game and buff alot of em(which is essential). community is good, graphics is good(for free), leveling system is decent, skills are up to par, but its true that its a pain for classes like elementors and ringmasters, because skill points thing.

Its free, its fun, its awsome a pure winner in my book. Just not perfect (but the gaming world has become far from perfect being that the horrible games are getting all the attention) Flyff beats GW and WOW anyday.

Comment: This took a lot of thought, because it really is a good game but some people can change your opinion. I just have to say that it is very well thought out of, the flying system is good although the only point of it is to travel between worlds or go somewhere fast. It's a good concept but it's next to useless if you give thought to it. The characters are pretty well thought out and such. The graphics aren't perfect but are pretty good. I must admit the monsters deserve a bit more thought. They go from small to just the name and then captain then giant. I like it but they don't change the colors of the monsters unless it is just their regular self. You'd understand if you played it. It is fun to play and it is fun to play for a long time. There isn't a lot to do thoguh caus quests aren't very useful. The community isn't horrible though, which is rare in free MMORPGs. I mean I make it sound bad but it isn't really that bad...

Comment: This is one of those games that is so addicting that you will come back for more even a couple of years from now.

Graphics: Hell their not WoW graphics, but the developer did good job on them. You can even adjust them in the options menu. 8/10

Sound: The music is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy annoying, and the joy that comes from hearing monsters scream for mercy starts to wear out after a while.7/10

Gameplay: Flying is this games strongest point, it is really fun. The mid-air combat is almost identical to ground-based combat, except for some little twists. The quests aren"t nearly as good Runescape"s, mostly because most of them follow the same routine, get a quest from the quest office, go kill a specific type of monster and collect the trash that it drops. I know it sounds stupid, because it is, but this is just a small problem and can be overlooked. Combat is very easy and doesnt really become tedious. 10/10

the gameplay is easy , just click on a monster and you grind away !!
the combat music is ok and evryone in there is nice
people are real nice and helpful in there as long as you dont bug them too much
this is a game you can spend hours on without getting bored

Comment: Flyff is one of the greatest ideas for MMO's that are set in this kind of fantasy like theme. The game gets you on an easy start and leveling up is quick and painless well as painless as I remember. I have not played this game for very long just until level 20 or so and I found this game to be very interesting and the camera view from behind the palyer is much better than the camera views I have seen in other games like tales of pirates which is one of the recent MMO's I have played and gotten bored of. This game has many advantages such as this new found ability to fly which has not be equipped in other games. Flying is a better way to travel in most games I would say than walking on land with a bunch of obstacles like buildings or trees in your way. When flying it is like a whole new different battlefield up there as you can fight different types of enemies that are different to what I have seen in other games. Sure there are some drawbacks like having to pay for great equipment and I am not a fan of a game where you buy new equipment using credit card as virtual items arn't useful for very much. The game has stunning graffics but has a big drawback of lagging as do most MMORPG's of this type have like Rappelz and Knights Online World. At least when the character dies you only lose a little experience which is not a big deal. The many different skills make the game fun as using magic gets boring unless it is amazingly animated. Also the fighting is pretty good the attacks are fast and fluid and can be different with different types of weapons. This game was briliantly created and I give it a 9 on acount of the bugs that still happen in game and I know that the designers are trying their best to fix them.

P.S. this game is free to play forever, but like many MMORPG's of this type take quite a long time to load (emphasis on LONG).

Comment: I'd like to start off by saying I did play this game for a long time (since beta) so don't assume I'm one of the noobs who got to level 5 and quit then decided to rate a game based on about 5 mins of knowledge or ignorance, your call.
let's take it one part at a time...

The price to play..Yeah it's free to download and all but if you expect to have good equipment at higher levels (this issue starts mainly at level 75) prepare to break your wallet in the cash shop. Theres people who have easily spent in upwards $1000 dollars in the cash shop, and YES this is not an exageration I've talked to and been friends with people like them, giving them a huge edge in the game assuming they spent it on upgrades. Just be prepared to a) suck in comparison at higher levels or b) empty your wallet.

The gameplay: Probably the most redeeming feature about this game. It is amazingly simple. Leveling skills, now after they implemented v7 a while ago, is as simple as pointing and clicking. Skills are put in your f keys and you can put them in 4 different skills bars by pressing the numbers 1 2 3 and 4. The movement is either point and click or w,a,s,d it's your call. The biggest feature in this game is being able to fly around on a broom,board,hoverbike(a cash shop items which is really and expensive board with a dinky plastic cover) or a sword board which is pretty much a 199million penya, the in game currency, overpriced broom.

Graphics: Fair, but poor in comparison to other free games such as Fiesta, Guild Wars (assuming you consider Guild Wars a free mmorpg), and Scions of Fate. All of the skills have unique effects which are fairly eye catching. Armor and weapons look fairly boring in the beginning like most games but later in the game the Items become much more interesting. Environments in the game a fairly bland and really only change about 4 times in the game.

Sounds: Pathetic turn your sound off before you even start the download. I did and when i turned it on while playing my Ringmaster, the healers in the game, I soon came to notice that my skills all sounded like cars driving past a recorder on the ground. The music changes from when you're flying, fighting, and walking around in town, none of which are at all enjoyable.

In a recent update (v9) they implemented a pet system, a crafting system, a pk system(which was removed, I'll explain below) and other features.
Now let me break one more thing down for anybody interested in this game.
beta-v6: simply amazing. Some glitches but nothing the community was to annoyed by.
v7: Skill system was changed from using a skill to get exp for it to simply distributing points gained by leveling. This skill system was rather unfair to some classes such as ringmasters and elementors causing many of them to quit the game.
v8:Got cancelled after the beta because everybody who tried it hated it. They were intending on implementing a new annoying and rather unfair pk system that nobody want to have a part in. All channels would become pk channels while in previous versions all channels but one were pve except in special areas.
v9: Pretty much v8 except they added in pets to voer up for their epic failure that was v8. People soon complained and boycotted the cash shop demanding a prompt fix from the developers which was soon achieved. But wait they took out all the pk except on a new server which would require you to make a brand new character just to pk. In v7 the cash shop was there, but not forced on you. v9 simply pushes the cash shop in your face and won't move. If you die, you get an option to go to the cash shop. You start the patching process all ads for cash shop items. They made it so that keeping a pet alive is nearly impossible to do without buying cash shop items.

bottom line is I wouldn't recommend this game until many of the games issues from v9 are resolved.

Used to like it, but with the creation of V9...ew.
The community is god-awful and won"t help people at ALL. It took me a while to grasp everything. Not only that, the stupid in-game tutorial just wouldn"t work. I rotated the camera a good 5 times and it would not progress. I closed it out and sought help from players. Biggest mistake of my life. Everyone ignored me, except when I called them idiots. "ZOMGZ LYK WHATD I DEEEWW?!". When I explained, they FINALLY told me they didn"t know. Whether it was blowing me off or sheer stupidity I"ll never know, but the community stinks.
And it"s a long way to freakin" fly in the first place. Level 20? You"re kidding me! If you"re going to use an in-game feature as your most heavily-advertised one (and game title), it had better be something you start out with, or get quickly.
As for the Cash Shop, I have one thing to say. Gpotato may be even greedier than Jagex.
(Jagex are Runescape"s creators and treat free to play players badly, with virtually everything restricted or cut.)

Who gave you the "brilliant" idea to make these changes? I can"t go out and train without worrying about getting killed by other players! Also, I work hard to kill a monster about my level, and someone comes along and takes the stuff I rightfully earned!
This game used to be great, but now...it"s only inches away from being as bad as Maplestory.
Good luck getting all your fans and players back, GP. You"ll need it.

Comment: I like it. IF your not an idiot you'll pick it up in about 10 minutes. move with W,A,S,D attack by CLICKING, and talk by selecting the mode and typing. In the first 30 minutes I made it to level 6. The graphics are kind of cutesy, but well done. Little lag, only like 1 second or 1/2 second burst every 10 minutes. 10/10

As soon as I got in game, I was mildly confused, and couldn't activate the tutorial. I'm no noob to gaming, so, I looked for monsters to kill outside of town, easily figuring out the minimap.

Grinding was not made easy with the controls, and the poor translating even of item descriptions. The graphics, although "Cute", were not anything special. Lag and slow controls made it slow and boring, and I found Maplestory more engaging than THIS.

Out of sheer disgust, after the first two logins(Don't get me wrong; I did play for a while during those logins.), I uninstalled the game. It does not in any way impress me. To go over the points:

Irritating, slow, and nothing new. It's pure grinding, and although I'm told there are quests, I couldn't make heads or tails of what some NPCs are saying, much less who gives out quests.

... The music sounded kind of neat, but the graphics were the normal attempt at anime ripoff and blocky. Nothing special, and nothing to really catch the eye.

I didn't encounter anyone who would help me, and most people just seemed intent on grinding, or spoke in chatspeak.

And the poor translations. That's what really got me. It seems to me like Flyff was designed/translated fast and cheap. And, in game development, if you want it fast and good, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it to be cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. And if you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.

All in all, I don't think ANYONE should be forced to play this. It should be considered torture. Oh, is it painful. I'ma go play some Baldur's Gate 2 to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Yick.

Comment: I tried this a while back and got to level 15~ before I quit.

The graphics, which I"ll admit are not to my taste, are juvenile. I don"t like the anime bobble-headed characters. Aside from that, they are not very impressive. You can see this from the screenshot above. I am not impressed considering there are games with a much smaller download that do better.

Game-play is where this game really suffers though. I did not enjoy slowly hacking away at everything while my brain slowly atrophied to the point where I began to lose consciousness at the keyboard. It"s slow, and lacks immediate response. The skills are your typical cookie-cutter stuff, if you"ve played a Korean MMO before you"ll know what to do.

Flyff is very grindy, even in the low levels. The only way to effectively level was to do the quests, which of course, were in engrish, and barely comprehensible. The drawback of this was, if you"re beyond a quest"s level range, you are not able to start it. I recommend finding a guide with all the quests starting levels before you start if you seriously want to play this, otherwise you will tear your hair out.

I"d rate the community a 3: not very helpful, courteous, or intelligent.

I was also impressed by the whorishness of this game. Every where you turn, Gpotato attempts to shove cash shop trash down your throat... and it is trash. Nearly all of it consists of special outfits, like school girl uniforms etc. Why on earth anyone would pay upwards of 10 USD for decoration is beyond me. I"m not against character customization, but why is it so expensive? But this is Gpotato, so I"m used to it. I have played many of their other games and have noticed that they charge more for CS items than any other game company.

There are better games to play. Stop with the generic rubbish and find a real game. I give it 1 for the flying.

Comment: Okay, so I am fairly new to reviewing games. But I will do my best for others wanting to know about this game:

Gameplay: It is pretty easy to get to level 15, which is required for getting a job. Monsters are always abundant and spawn fairly fast. Quests are...decent. Some can be really easy and worth doing for the money (Penya) and exp. And some are just plain dumb. There is a variety of guilds to be invited into. You can use WASD to move, which is a great layout along with your skills set to F1-F9. The community is really good. Random people will come and help you even without asking, and parties are tremendously fun. Leveling to 25 can take about 3 days, after that is purrrreeeee grindage and gets pretty boring alone. Flying adds some depth in the game, as does combat while flying. Overall gameplay is really good. -10/10-

Graphics: Okay, this is no Guild Wars or Oblivion. But for a free MMORPG this game looks really good. A nice cartoonish feel and textures are amazing. Unless you have a really, really, really bad computer/connection you shouldn't lag at all. Only in Server 1 in towns where there are a TON of people shopping and crap. Character costumization is okay at best, though it lacks any difference early on. Though after leveling up and getting new armor and Penya for new looks your chars can look amazing. -8/10-

Sound: The music now loops in the new version! Weee! Other than that, nothing really going for it. So be ready to turn on your stereo/mp3 player soon. -7/10-

Item/Weapons/Etc: Real simple. You can level up your weapons and armor which is good. Monsters drop very little Penya and Items, so if you run out and are in a bad place, dun dun duuuuun. -7/10-

My Rating: This game is worth playing, and can get VERY addicting at first. My only gripe is solo'ing is a real bore, and the new version that JUST came out kinda blows. Players are already complaining and leaving because of some of the things that were taken away (Some skills, PvP pit). Only about a 550MB download, so not that long. -9/10-

The download can take some time though, about 3 hours. If you have a bad computer you may experiance some lag and get disconnected. But otherwise its a good game, just be sure to make some friends on this because it can get kinda boring if you play alone.

Comment: Their customer service is terrible. There was a rollback one time and I happened to send my alt a seidel suit a few minutes before using the mailbox. No big deal, it will be restored back to main, right? Wrong, the suit disappeared into thin air, it was neither on my alt nor my main. The issue was never addressed, although people lost items. If you traded with someone a few minutes before rollback, the seller would have his money but the buyer wouldn"t have the item. Stupid, isn"t it? AND, there was a time when everything you sent through the mailbox got duped. I sent 10mil to my alt, and this npc called FLYFF sent 10mil to my alt as well. Again, the issue wasn"t addressed, and no one was punished for glitch abuse. Also, there are rules that mods and gms claim to exist but that aren"t enforced at all. One is multi-clienting. Even though it is considered a bannable offense for bypassing gameguard, no one ever gets a ban. I know because I"ve been doing this forever with my own character. Also, the cash shop is dominant and you talk about it on their forums, what do you get? A lock. Talk about freedom of speech.

The quests are kinda pointless because once your a certain lvl you cant get the quest items and then you have to pay like 35000 for one quest item wich is stupid as hell so yea.

The items really stinkunless you spend real cash on the stuff wich I wouldnt ever do because well really only nerds,fat low lives, stupid rednecks do that. like refering beck to the people somtimes you will see random people comming up to you bragging about how they spent 10.00 on items its sad

What I like about it its not addicting unlike other games, the graphics are great, it isnt as fun when ur a low level but when your a low leve you make all the cash. I mean people pay 50000penya for 1 twinkle stone that any low level can get!. The only thing to watch out about is stupid people who try to scam you. Sure money is easy to make but the prices are the thing that you gotta watch. i sell cards for 5k and for some stupdi reason people would rather buy em for 20k stupid isnt it. Anotehr bad thing is you have to be level 40 and you have to pay 3mil to make a guild. I give it a 9 out of 10 because they really messed up on how they price stuff like pets are like over 70mil wich is alot and most of the players are ratehr over 20 or under 9 wich really stinks.

Now that his/her stupidity has been taken care of, I can review the game.

FlyFF is a really fun game. It may be a bit of a grind in some points (can't tell you how many Adult Lawolfs I had to kill), but it's fun when you get through it. I can't wait to get a job and start flying. That's another thing: jobs. They're pretty awesome. I can't decide between Assist and Mercenary. The skills are pretty awesome, too.
I don't know. I just get some sense of happiness when I'm playing this game. The only way I can put it into words is, "This game is one of the best in the world!".

Comment: I like Flyff but the game revolves around its Cash shop way too much. Upgrading your gear to +10 is fun, but you need alot of spros to make it. They're expensive as hell, and only pros can afford them, unless you buy hundreds of real dollars worth of spros yourself from the Cash shop.

Comment: This game kicks Runescapes butt. This game is much like WoW, with the exception of being able to get good exp from KILLING, not constant quests. You can do quests, which are mostly ones where you collect quest items from certain monsters. Classes and skills are fun, people are mostly nice, but its rare when someone is mean to noobs. The different channels allowyou to switch if its too crowded where you are, and theres a seperate server for PvP. I play on Aibatt server and have a 62 aoe ranger , 82 RM, and a 50 (future) BJ.

Cool Effects:
-You can upgrade armor and weapons from +1-+10. +3 full armor set/weapon and above glow, and make you look awesome.

-When you die, you get bonuses (i.e. higher crit rate) and you can recover part of your lost exp from an experience box left on the exact spot where you die.

-Pick hairstyles and faces. You can be female or male, doesn"t matter if your going to be a mercenary(fighter) or an Acrobat(uses mostly bows).

Pros:
-Good graphics
-Only lags on Channel 1(server which always has most ppl) if u have very bad pc and are in a big city.
-Friendly community, easy and fun to level to 15 and become your 1st job class.

Cons:
-Big server lags can disconnect you, but only happens with abad computer.


Additional stuff:i see somene said this game was "cute". Hey buddy, have you actually gone past level 15? Because after that, youdont use cookies to heal, it doesnt take 10sec to heal, and your 10 yr old character looks older in cool armor.

Comment: Flyff, at its core, is a fun game. The cartoonish graphics are not over-the-top or buggy, and the PvE gameplay is very solid. Unfortunately, its a complete grind to lvl once you get past the begging levels (1-20), and the npcs are either too easy or too hard, which matters when you get a % of a % per monster killed. The party system is unique, and the flying aspect adds variety, but overall its not enough to save it from the traditional molds of MMO gameplay.

If you have alot of time, and friends that play the game, then go ahead and download it. Otherwise forget it.

Pros:
-Other players in the game are SUPER FRIENDLY. (90% of them). I haven't met a mean/unhelpful person yet~

-Very cute characters and monsters ^^

-YOU GET TO FLY!!! like omg! FUN!


Cons:
-Before lvl 20 its kinda boring but you get to learn more about the game, then you can fly, etc!

-Background music kinda gets to me. Like you keep hearing the same tune~ but then again you can turn on iTunes in the background or whatever ^^

-Earning money at early levels (before 15) is hard

Comment: really good game, another click to play but overall not bad pvp kinda cool, especially when fighting acrobats as a hybrid assist. Well if u play u know more about it. But really got boring at 35. honestly i stopped. But im gonna go back because pretty fun but try to moderate it out. Well really close to WOW the best among free mmorpgs except maybe gunz online. Ang it gets a lot less cute at higher levels. You have to fight mutated stuff really weird. Anyway yes very doll, cutesie but as you get higher the gear becomes badass to an extent that your chars look equivalent to any games high lvls. still, pain in the butt to play because lots of people are on but not many around your lvl. And guilds get unbelievably picky and no guild wars. sorry people. but pvp fun, only downside is on pvp servers u get -karma where they put u in jail if u kill some1 unless u get attacked. Pain in the butt to get out and if i forgot anything, just check the other reviews :)

Comment: This is a decent game. It is somewhat fun running around killing things. Way too cute for taste though. There's practically no character customization though. This wouldn't be so bad if your character wasn't a 10 year old. Everything in this game screams "cute." Instead of using potions and such to heal yourself, you eat cookies and drink milkshakes. Which you don't really need since you will become completely healed if you just stand still for about 10 seconds. The items are cute, the people are cute, the random penguin that stands in the corner of your screen for no apparent reason is cute. Even the monsters are cute. One of them actually has cute in their name.

Comment: for all of you that put 2s or 3s you obviously dont have a large attention span. This is a great game and lvls 1-20 I believe are the worst. You also need to take the time to find which class best suits you. At lvl 60 each class branches out into 2 more unique classes. I have a lvl 81 Billposter( a branch of assist) and i love grinding with him and i get .08% a kill(like 20+ seconds a kill hehe). I didnt start out with assist though. You must experiment with different classes and find friends to enjoy this game.

Comment: This is probably the best free MMORPG I've ever played. I have played everquest, and this, I believe, tops it. The gameplay is easy to learn and fun to play. Yeah there is kindy cartoony graphics, but I think it makes it fun. I love the complete sets of armor, and cool weapons that you can find in the game. I like the ability to choose different classes, with another chance to choose a master class. The PvP in this game is awesome. In non-pk servers there is a designated dueling arena, and a guild war arena. In the pk server it can become all out war with people murdering each other, and the option to become a bounty hunter. Yeah it's awesome! Not to mention the huge world you have to explore. Not interested yet, well did I mention you can fly? Yes, it's true, you can fly.

So now for the downsides. There is an option to pay to get more equipment, or maybe some cool clothes. You don't have to to enjoy the game though. It can get a little laggy if you have a computer with even the recomended requirements. I have an exceptional computer and I don't lag at all even in the busy servers. It can get a little boring if you like to solo. You'll have to make some friends to totally enjoy this game.

Comment: fun game, but it could be better. the graphics are amazing, i'm surprised my computer can run it. it's very well rounded and easy to play. it does tend to lag occasionally, like when you go into town where alot of people are or when you fly really high, since your computer has to load all the little monsters you're flying over. flying itself is very fun and does provide an exceptional way to travel. it's cool cause if you're rich or have rich friends they can buy you the best board/broom right off the bat and you can fly really fast. pvp is an improvement and dueling is cool, cause i'm pretty sure you dont really lose anything by dying, and there usually is an assist around to revive you. there are tendancies to grind, but the quests are really good for leveling, as they provide you an incentive to kill monsters (if they involve that) cause they can give you a massive increase in exp. my friend once did a quest that gave him 75% exp. most give atleast a 10% boost. the community is very friendly, you get invited to parties alot, which is very useful in training and makes it less boring. dispite the lag and occasionally repetitive gameplay, it's definately something you should check out.

Comment: I'm from Flyff Philippines, so thiers only three servers namely Iblis(the newest server), Shade(the 2nd server), and Bubble(the oldest server and my current location).
Though FlyFF could definitly use some adjustments, I'm still quite addicted to this game. I own 9 characters, but I highly favor my RM or Ringmaster. ^^;

Positive:
- The graphics are awesome.
- I don't mind the childish charcters. They help me feel young. lol. (they don't look childish once they get to higher levels)
- The world is big. With a capital B.
- Flying gets to compensate for the huge world.
- The types of classes are simple, unique and easy to recodnise.
- The community is pretty friendly. The word 'noob' is like foreign language and rarely used.
- The event decorations and activities gives the game a sense of originality.
- The leveling is challenging. It gives you something to do.

Negative:
- FlyFF philippines isn't as crowded as english FlyFF, but it does lag alot. (But then again, I'm used to it xD)
- Fashion sets and all the useful scrolls are bought with REAL money, and expensive too. (costs 100 pesos for 1 restat scroll, waaaa!)
- Yes, the leveling is challenging, but gets grinding when you get to 90+.

Notes: For those of you who think that getting to lvl 20-30 is grinding, just states that you have the attention span of a pebble and the will-power of wet toilet paper. PS: Try to chat and kill monsters at the same time. You'll get to 90% before you even know it! ^^

The bad part about this is the GRINDING >_< Unfortunately there aren't skills like in Runescape (but then again Runescape just completely sucks, I won't compare Flyff to that crap), only fighting. Also, the quests are what you expect: Kill X number of things, get this item, deliver item to ____, ect. What's good about the quests though are that they aren't completely random, and each has at least SOME storyline to it, others a lot of storyline. The Dredpet quest (when you reach level 20) is freaking awesome, 'cus of the place you go. (It's like an underground lava place, and 2 cool features is the huge gate (there aren't many gates like that in the MMOs I've played :P, and the earthquake there is when you see the Dredpet. :) Not to mention the graphics ROCK.

I was starting to grind. The game has excellent graphics. But the fact that you play a child will not please older audiences. The PvP is good, up to a certain level. Money is a pain to get because the good stuf costs money and a LOT of it. To make a guild was REAL expensive, according to what my friend told me (near 10 mill). The combat doe get a little repetitive and when you jump you jump like 20 feet in the air! Not realistic right there.

The only reason this game is getting a 9 is because of the grind. The community is much more mature than runescape and the players do not say noob. The graphics are pretty good. The map is HUGE! You either fly for have this teleportain stones.

I would recomned this game to fanasty lovers, and people who have patience.

1.Free,but you can buy gear on site.
2.Community is awesome,but not too hard to find out how to play.
3.Huge map,walking takes forever so you can fly.
4.Amazing graphics,they are cartoony but that is what makes this game unique and Awesome.
5.Classes,you start out as 1 common class to level 15 but then become unique and very skilled.
6.Gpotato store,where you can buy in game cloths for your char to make yours unique and one of a kind.
7.Pking system(Player killing),you have your own pking server so you cant be killed anywhere.
8.Pvp system(Player vrs. Player),very own arena where you can face each other in anyworld.
9.Many servers,You got 4 groups of server (Maia,Glaphan,Lawolf,Aibatt),each comes with server 1,2,3(non pk maps)then server 4 is pk map.
10.Classes(higher lvls),at lvl 15 you can choose from Mercenary,Assist,Magician,and Acrobat..
11.Flying,you can choose a board or broom to move around on the maps.
12.Monsters,plenty of monsters so that you can party level or level on your own.

The Bad parts which makes the game alright.(The cons"s)
1.Big map,Flying might be fast but with a huge map it takes awhile to get there.
2.Leveling is a huge grind,and also a little boring once at level 80ish.
3.Money,easy enough to make money off powerdice but you still have to start making huge cash to make your gear better.


Once in game you will make plenty friends and have a lot of fun.Quests are fun but some are really hard,which makes you and your friends work toghether.

Holiday events are good for double exp. and drops and also gives you a chance to try out some gear.

Game deserves a solid 9 for its graphics,community,and fun.

Comment: This game is great for a while especially if you can get friends to play and level up with you. after a while (around lvl 27 for me)you get bored of the same thing over and over and the only thing that changes is what your fighting. Once in a while i still go on and try to make myself level because i know it will be more fun when you get higher up.
pros: Fun for a while, good time killer, many job choices, pretty good battle system
cons: need to be semi-high level for most things, flying really isnt that fun, quests are dumb, YOUR CHARACTERS HAVE UGLY CLOTHES AND COOL ITEMS COST REAL MONEY......

but overall its fun i recommend it!

Pros: Cute characters and monsters, flying is neat, easy to learn, basicly fun.

Cons:

1)All your base are belong to us! If you don"t get it I am saying this may be one of the worse translated games of all time. The npc make little sense.
Here are examples:
"of Str Star Sword."
"Lolipop deleted as many as 4"
"Dome22you have collected a bounty of xXAssassinnXxpenya of an amount of 1,000,000.

2) Super repedative. There are a number of quest. They basicly ask you to go kill a type of monster and hope to collect a rare drop from them.

3) Rare items suck much. Brown items which are "unique" and are rare drops are in all but a few cases worst than store bought items.

4) Many many many many broken quests or items and npcs that do nothing or once did something but now don"t.

All that aside. This game is fairly fun.

Comment: This game has some of the sweetest graphics of any game on the pc pay or not. Everything about this game is great "conceptually". Lots of class selection, tons of possible skill combinations. You can party up with other people. And there are even PK servers so you can kill people after level 15. Also there is a bounty system so you can get paid to pk people.

However, after less then a week of playing this game I found that you level up slower then a 90 year old grandma. Which is odd because the characters all look like little kids. When it hits me, that this game can probably only truely be enjoyed fully by one of those 2 types of people. 90 year old grandmas and little kids. Which really agrivates me because, everything else about this game, graphics, class/job system, skills, multiplayer options, pretty much better then every other game out there.

Ah if only my mid aged self had the patients to kill bats and mushrooms with a wooden spoon in 15 hits for a few years, I could probably finally have a character worth playing on this game. But I don't so off I go to try to find a game more my speed. Mind you, this is comming from someone who has been playing RPG's for almost 20 years.

Comment: I am lvl 71 psykeeper in this game and i generally love the game. I agree that between the lvls 1-15 is generally boring...but it gives u something to work for. Flying, i was more working twards that lol. This game is still in the beta version and still better than some of the advanced versions out there. So watch out because they update all the time. The graphics are great and i only give this game a 9 because sometimes the servers are down and its alot of just lvling up. There are guilds, guild wars and such that are fun. I would recomend the game so try it :)

Comment: This game is a GREAT MMO and the free to play tag makes it even better. Although clarky is partly right. At about lvl 30-40 you hit a block of repetiviness, but after lvl 41 you will be able to experience more dungeons, pks and just meet more friends because many of the flyff population are frequenters to the universe.

I will keep it like this, this is the game for that kid in you that always wanted to fly, the fly mechinisim is a little gimick like, but the dungeons are very maze like, but once you get to the giant gate at the end you can"t wait to see what"s on the other side, and you will want to explore every tiny bit of this game

I like the cute graphics, end game your character looks like a cute little tough guy, fun outfits from item shops(I only buy ones i can use off of players... I refuse to give money to Gpotato), The worst support some how manages the best games.. these people straight up tell you "I am not going to help you, cry more". Grinding is fun after 15 imo, health pots even with the small cooldown kept me on my toes facing higher levelled enemies. The classes are awesome.. Elementors, BP"s and Knights are my favs.

I cant help but keep coming back for several months at a time before I go on a search for another free mmo. If I could give this game a 100 instead of a 10 I would love to.

Comment: I've played this game for over a year and I've never grown tired of it. For your time this is by far the best MMORPG out there to this day. The fact that it is a Free To Play only makes it better (although you do have the ability to spend real money in the Cash Shop to aquire different items and such). Granted I know the game has some pretty hardcore grind to it when you start getting up to some of those higher levels but that's just motivation. I've had several characters on multiple clusters that were over level 90. For the average gamer this probably isn't for you, nor is any MMORPG for that matter. But for fans of them this is worth trying at the very least, you might just like it.

The graphics are great, vibrant environments (especially later on in the game when you're visiting Darkon), great character design (if you like cute anime influenced work), and some customization as far as your character looks.

This game has a ton of stuff to do in it appart from the regular hum-drum of quests. The PVP alone can keep you busy for quite some time.

I give this game a 10 simply for the fact that out of every MMORPG I've played (and there has been a lot) this is the one that I keep coming back to it. Not matter how long I've played it, I can't get bored with it.

I played this game for 2-3monthes before getting bored which isnt to bad. Unlike other games it has an exp skill system, so you have to work on your skills to get them up. It also has flying which is usefull for travelling.

I have to admit it does take a long time to level. At lvl 20 you get about 0.8% for killing a lvl 20 creature. At lvl 40 you get about 0.4% for killing a lvl 40 creature and at lvl 100 you get 0.01% for killing a lvl 100 creature. So yeah it does take a long time to level.

Graphics are amazing for a free rpg. They beat any other free game except rappelz and space cowboy, yet they are all made by the same company.

Flying at lv 20 is fairly awesome, but you would expect getting to level 20 would be easy. WRONG! Flyff would have been a whole lot better if it didn't take SO MUCH DANG TIME TO LEVEL UP! I mean at level 16, you get about 0.1% of leveling up if you kill another level 16 monster. I mean come on! Has a lot of potential, though. Hopefully someone will look at this and make a great game out of it.

1)put all u stat points like this:50% stamina and 50% stenght till lv 15(bcouse after that u stat points will reset)after that u can choose from 4 diferen classes:magician,mercenary,acrobat and assist.
u can choose tp play with the best stats to lv up fast but u must think about the 2nd job change bcouse many ppl don't buy cash shop items or can't afort to buy 1 in game...its 20m in the 1st 2 weeks of the cluster...now the best way to lv as a assist is like this:choose an aoer assist(thats a area spell/skill hitter) and stay with some1 in party that is a full suport assist(thats a buffer/helear).If u choose 1 vs 1 killing style stay in party with a future knight or psy couse they will have hight defence and u will have hight dmg :) and kill monsters 8-10 lv highter then u .if u play after thise tips u will be lv 15 in 4-6 hours and lv 60 in 5-9 days:)

all the clusters from english flyff with diferent classes but from lv 65 to 75 the exp is low.i dunno why but after 75 its higher :).i did saw that a guy made lv 50 in 2 years omg...if u play 12/247/7 u will be lv 60 in like 5-7 days--that only if u know what is the best metod to lv.......i wish u all good luck and in this mounth it will be an upgrade and a new cluster will be lounched.1 more thing that i like on this game is that hack shield that is upgraded every couple of days and hackers don't destroy the game :)

Comment: i'll tell you, i dont know a game who needs to play for over 2 years to be lvl 50 T.T
i started to play this game this year and my opinion is that its a great game..
the people are really nice and you have plenty of skills..
although.. the fighting can be really boring if your a 60+
but you'll love the weapons,clothes,shield etc.
I gues "dunno" didnt really played the game, but just lvl it to 20 or something and some guy owned him in the duel arena.. -___-
i can recommend everybody who likes the feel of freedom and those who likes the graphics.

Comment: This game is cool,combos r really good except u can only use it once on each monster/player(i think).Really hard to lvl,the game world is kinda big,it makes me wanted to explore it more.Lagging alot(maybe its just me).The graphics r awesome,the community is not nice but not bad either,some ppl ignores u n some r friendly.Pking is cool,but i hate the karma points(whatever that thing is...),the punishment for pking is too much.The monsters are adorable tho,i love the way flyff developer making those monsters.I just hope they change to skill system(so,u can use skill as many as u want)Very addictive n i give it a 8 out of 10.

Comment: itsa very good game and i recommend it to every1. it took me only 4 days each day only playing one hour to get from lvl 12 to 20. the only problem is da money making. a lv 20 monster will drop a max of 40 penya. the best broom costs 200k i used to make money buy selling buckets but now no1 buyse em from me. what should i do

Lvling system: 9/10 Get to lvl 15 in 5 hours or less

Music: 10/10

Gameplay: 9/10

Combat system: 10/10

FLYING: 7/10 sadly they didnt do a good job on this, update is coming soon with imporving the flying sytem (Guildwars in the air!)

Interface: 10/10

Equeptment: Awesome for all around classes and different levels. 9/10

Jobs / Classes: Choose from a Mage, Mercinary, Acrobat, or an Assist(awesome for power-ups and healing). Choose from those 4 at lvl 15.

Comment: I played it for about 20 minutes after wait 2 months to find a site where I could acually download it from and deleted it, it takes a long time to download(unless you have some super powered XPS that takes 20 fans to cool down). I didnt like the movment because the camera moved on me a lot, I got lost really fast and ended up running from some water spider, I just didnt get it but thats my opinion and Im not trying to ruin it for those of you who like it and trying to promote another game like everybody else who give a bad reveiw

Comment: nearly the same as maple story in 3d lol, although i have to say its much better than maple story..kinda. a lvl grind game disguised in awesome graphics! yeahh...
well, besides the awesome graphics, not much else going for it. just kill monsters to lvl up...sell some things if you can manage it...get rich if your lucky enough to pick up rare items (which usually doesnt happn) without the rare drops its almost impossible to make sufficient money. hm...
well. at least the mage skills are mad cool. very nice effects. idk about the sound, i always have it off to play my own..so...
the clothes are nice, although they tend to get kind of ugly at higher lvls.
pros: amazing graphics (they have rain/night/day), characters and clothes designed well, skill effects are really cool looking, hard to die unless you suffer from lag, boss monsters, nice party system/guild system/pvp
cons: easily becomes a lvl grind game once you reach lvl 20, massive lag, fetch quests, not that many things to do cept train and sell things...

Comment: I dont like this game...It reminds me of a 3-D version of maplestory....And i HATE maplestory....Hard to download hard to sign up, very time consuming...OK graphics....OK flying features, Id probably LOVE to play this game on another computer because on my computer, when Im fling it lags WAY to much. I unno if its just my comp,but whatever. Too cartooney... Its kinda of a so-so for me. Cause whenever i think of something bad for this game, a good thing about it pops up and vice versa... Good classes bad sound....SEEE????? ill give it a five cause of my mixed emotions of it. I recomoned it to ne1 who has lots of time to download it and register for it......... If you love cartoony anime stlye games like this 1, and a little bit of a Harry-Potter theme magic, then this games for you....

Comment: This is a very fun game (speaking as a person who has wasted way to much time with his friends on it) I have a level 52 character which is my main, A level 41 which was my frist, A lvl 33, a lvl 30, a lvl 21, and a lvl 15 who got stuck on the exile (the place you get sent if you kill someone and get cought) Flying is fun, but its not that advanced yet, but some of the best items in the game can only be goten from flying battles. the economy as some people have said is fun, because if you find a good item then you can sell if for millions of Penya (the money of the game) This game can be a little confusing as is is translated from Korean, and it had no tutorials. My only other complaint is the time it takes to level up at higher levels. Lvling is done on % basis, when you get the % bar filled you level, but there are no EXP points so to say, But i am level 53 and i kill things 10 levels higher then me, and only get .23% exp per kill, and it takes about a 30 seconds to a minute to kill things. And my leve 70 friend gets .02% exp per kill. so as you can see it takes a long time. But getting to 60 is rewarding. I highly recomend this game to anyone who wants a game that is fun, but not so easy that you can become so strong that nothing can kill you.

Comment: Here's my review. best free MMORPG ever in my opinion, with a country nearly(if not larger) the size of the land of the Elder Scrolls Morrowind 3 (if you've ever played)

flying is awesome at first, while it becomes less exciting in the beginning, youll highly appreciate it for its usefulness, and as of now, really cool flight combat systems are being made.--- The macros and hotkeys on this game make the game really fun, and different from other mmorpgs. if you've played a mmorpg before, youll understand and appreciate this.----and...help users have troble with Game Guard---try running the patch server and clicking start, and repeating over and over, if gameguard has been giving you some errors....it somehow cancels the gameguard, and runs the game..thats how i've done it since day one..((DOWNSIDES)): I guess the only real downside of this game is the leveling time, but thats in every online rpg. the worst part of flyff is getting to 15...but once you hit level 15, the whole aspect of the game changes, and even more so at level 20 when you can fly. ((UPSIDES)): i think one of my favorite parts of the game is the economy...quest items, upgraded/empowered weapons, food, energy potions; all are necessary to the flyff traveller, and whats cool, you may set up a shop, where ever you are, where you can put up items for sale, and name their price...many people may get rich off this by knowing where to sell, and knowing the prices. those i know who do not like leveling, become great buisness people who make a large income. I guess that about does it, try it and have fun =) (((oh..and if you ever try it, and find powerdice...dont give away powerdice or sell it for squabbles if you happen to find any, like a noob...its worth about 100k XD)))

Comment: FlyFF is the best free MMORPG developped so far. Like it was said in previous posts, it gets more and more fun (and addictive) after level 15. People who say that they didn't like it probably haven't played the game long enough to see how well it's made and fun it is. The community is much more friendly and interresting than those of other MMORPG (like Runescape). I admit though, some aspects of the game might be confusing at first because there are no complete tutorials. I personnally think that's part of its fun. I guess it wouldn't please to a player who likes to buy a walkthrough for a game and follow it step by step like he'd do to cook a Lipton soup. Anyway, I'm level 42 and I know I'll play until I reach 100 minimum because i'm like many others, addicted to this game. As for lag and connectivity issues, this should be resolved very soon because they're changing for better servers (in june) and have optimised the code.

Comment: my last review was made by my cousin and this is my review the amount of time i spent a day and then out of the blue some one deletes my acount can u belive that the nerve this game is good i mean look at those graphics its internet game and u get that cool a now i must say there was a time when out of the blue it said in bold boss monster aproaching what does that mean if u no post a review. this game is cool the lv system is hard and the quest are a bore there are 3 types A)fight and collect items B)talk to people to get items and C)find items (that is hard) and deliver them byt besides that the classes are cool and creative the 2cnd job is beta and yeah but sort the bugs out please but keep the good work up

Altho it needs a little more work on it, other then that it is really cool! A must for any mmorpg gamer! A solid 10!
