This is a game to play with your friends, and their friends, not so many you will feel lost and never so few it will make you fell alone. You can make a mark, but like life, it is not a contest, its about the thing you do with the friends you have and the friends you make, as you go against all that is old and evil.

Comment: Love is an indie MMOFPS, but does away with many common FPS and MMO staples. While most MMOs these days are MMORPGs where you grind and level up, and most FPSs focus on shooting enemies, Love is an MMOFPS that doesn't even have a main focus on shooting.

While shooting is a gameplay mechanic inside it, Love's main focus is on building. And you can build many things inside it, players can build their own structures by digging and raising rock from the ground, but they can also unlock many more things to build (for example, windmills to power things, energy shields, radio towers etc). The game also uses an innovative radio system that can be used in various ways too. Most of the buildings can be tied together, and indeed, some must be tied together to work (for example power generators to defence mechanisms) Here are one example of how things can be tied together:
There are mines in-game. You can put down a mine, then assign a radio frequency and a key word to it. This means when you radio that key word on that frequency, then you can blow up the mine. But, it gets better. You can then attach a proximity sensor that sends out a keyword on a certain radio frequency (you have to set them as well) when someone goes near it. In other words, a proximity mine! Players could think up even more ingenious ways of using this radio system too.

There are no quests inside it like other MMOs, but most players who play this will want to build structures, and AI enemies will come to attack, so they will want to defend their creation. While there is no real back-story or in-game story, players are meant to craft their own story by playing the game how they want to.

I've focused on the gameplay for much of this review, and for good reason. However, the graphics are themselves very stylistic, with an almost painterly look, and bright colours. It gives the game a unique style, and makes it stand out from the many HD models of most 3D games these days.

In conclusion, this is a very innovative MMO, the indie developer has done a great job on this, crafting a fun MMOFPS that breaks many, many laws of MMO and FPS creation. Again, this is a fun game, only you must pay to play it (there's only one person funding it, so he needs to fund the bandwidth).
