Comment: I loved the gameplay epecially playing online made the game agrat one. With pretty good graphics but an awsome online system its an ownage game. Playing oline was the best part for me with huge amounts of maps to choose froms like DOTA Allstars which of course was my favorite to even some like Middle Earth which is based upon the story of Middle Earth from Lord of the Rings. Like most RTS games this one had Campaigns which each start off as a tutorial then grow into the action and enjoyment. If you wish to not complete the campaign it is possible to start your own custom game eve nusing the same maps you can use online. The only thing is if your worried about that it will be to hard ause its a startegy gae well no waorry ist not at all and with advantage of making custom games you can choose the diffuculty even on campaigns. If you're into startegy type games this isnt the best since it doesn't require much thinking but when playing online it may require some good tactics that are needed to play well. All in a pretty well done game to play.

Comment: Anyone who said that this is about strategy is a retard.Anyone who compared this to StarCraft is an idiot. WC3(especially frozen throne) is ALL about the online multiplayer. Their are maps on everything you can imagine; chess, "real" strategy games,games with only heroes, game without heroes, Lord of the Rings, Star wars, even Star Craft. Any idea you have can be made into a game on WC3-and probably already has. The map editor is completely uncomparable to Starcrafts(its that much better): custom skins, abilities, units, soundsets, tiles, attacks, EVERYTHING. Joining a clan is not required, but can make it a lot more fun. You'd probably be best to join clans that are specific game oriented: for Battleships, Clan 13se is the bestl Clan FP is a Rabbits vs Sheep clan(neither of these games are played the way they sound; battleships is nothing like the ancient game you're probably thinking of, and Rabbits vs Sheep involves a lot of killing). All in all, an amazing game; you should never get bored since you can always just go play something else.

Comment: The game is good for a while but I think the game emphasize tactics over the quantity and production of units like starcraft. Starcrat emphasizes what kind of units you use and how much of them you have. Warcraft emphasizes a little more on how powerful you're heros are and how well you use it. To make an effecient army you need to care about the quality of the units than how much of them you produce. Warcraft, to me, is more tactical than starcraft but it's still a good game. I just didn't find it as fun as starcraft but I'll give it a good rating.

Comment: war3 is a good game, maybe even a great game, but its way overhyped and its really not one of the best.
The graphics are good, there is no questioning that but the unit movements are slow and the game isnt as fast pased. often times I find myself having nothing to do but watch my units which is a BAD SIGN. units are hard to control and attempting to micro usually ends up in you losing your unit. I also think the hero concept sort of kills the game. so if they made the units a bit faster, took out mbs and trashed the hero thing i think it would be a better game

i play it a lot. the graphics are really good.
battle is great. action is perfect, its just a really really good game, i recommend this game.
p.s. get it at a game stop, ea games, fun co land, or some place like that and get the expansion, the game, 2 manuals and a story line for $30!

Comment: *cough* starcraft *cough*. I think its redic that you have an RTS with an RPG style of play. The only reason you build an army is to get your stupid hero"s to the max. Then your hero runs in and destroys everything. Wheres the fun in that?

Comment: OK, i borowed this game from a friend at school and what do i ahve to say... This game is pretty good. The campain is awsome and has a good storie line and awsome graphics ( please note that all the pictures that gameogre puts onto this website get downgraded and they look alot better in the real game than the pictures shown, that goes for all game pics on this web ) and the online play is awsome.

Comment: I've had this for 2 years (well actually i had warcraftIII the frozen throne)great gameplay You'll love night elves that on screen is jaina the level 2 sorceress with 1 more skill point and summon water elemental 1 heal and mana potion.anyway online you'll love huge varieties of tower defence hero line wars line tower wars mazes(there deadly not only mazes like if you step off of the path you die and lose a life) and pass the bomb worm war village builder footman frenzy get this game (and frozen throne the expansion)you'll be addicted in no time and if you do get it add Pur3Mast3r (thats me :D) to your friends list.im a pro at td (Tower Defence)
