    AMD processors are better for gaming (if you intend to use it in that purposes) because of its smaller heating during a longer period of work, also Amd processors have better overclock ability comparing to Intel, and of course AMD processors are better for photo end video rendering, photo end video editing, multitasking...and they are cheaper so...you have to hear other side of the story since everybody is into Intel :)

    If you have the money go for Intel. Intel is way much better than AMD. Remember that a product is expensive for a reason.
