It would be nice to have a way to store pets in a way that it doesn't take inventory nor bank space. I would have more pets if that was a thing.

  4. Bank already does that. I just don't think we need more ways to store stuff, because then it'll be confusing for some players to find certain items. For instance, in AQWorlds, that game has bank space, but also has house bank space which just seems unnecessary. Bank space should all be in one place. The real improvement needed for bank are tabs for each item category.

    I was referring to this:
AQ3D Game plan travel form and pet collections.PNG
A way to store travel forms and Pets without having to use bank nor inventory space.

  6. Still think that's unnecessary. I'm not sure what they even mean by "collection" though, like being able to buy them from a collection shop, or be able to track every pet and form we collect, or something else? I would, however, like to see items bought with DCs have free bank storage though, especially the 4,500 DC forms. Anything purchased with DCs should have some incentive.

A collection that tracks your travel forms and pets is what I see it being and such a thing is surprisingly handy to have. DC items being free to store makes sense, they work like that in AQW so why not make them work that way in AQ3D?

  8. I don't know how reasonable that would be. They could, however, add collections where there are forms and pets only, but I think most people enjoy seasonal collections where there are variety of items like armors, helms, weapons, and loads of other item types. AE could already create collections for pets and forms, if they really wanted to.

But what I think would be revolutionary is if you could claim a pet from a craft shop once, and be able to access that pet again without having to recraft (in other words, you'll be able to delete your crafted pet and be able to purchase it again, but without having to use up Pet Feeds that you used the first time around).

So in other words, instead of "crafting" just like any ordinary crafting, maybe treat the Pet system more like "training a pet"... train once and be able to access whenever. The current system isn't bad, but I do think there's always room for improvements.

And if there was that sort of improvement, the Special Unicorn pet probably wouldn't be an obtainedonce item. Once you delete that pet, you can never obtain it again. The reason for this is because you can only obtain the Mature Egg (a craft requirement) once since the Nature vs Nurture quest can only be completed once. It's unfortunate for the people who've accidentally deleted the Mature Egg or Special Unicorn, so maybe something could be done about that.

A pet collection that you can use to obtain back pets that you crafted is amazing idea considering the amount of dailies you have to do to get the most of them. Special Unicorn is definitely a special case because you can only obtain it once and having an ability to get it back after getting rid off it. It's a shame that Mature Egg is obtainable only once and deleting it by accident leaves you with no way to get it back. Travel form collection would more apply to travel forms which you can get as drops, those that require crafting and those that require dailies to get.

  10. There aren't really a lot of forms you can get as craft rewards or drops. Drops tend to be seasonal forms (like the pumpkin, reindeer dragon, and some other forms) exclusive to Guardians only, and craft rewards tend to be stuff like Bush Root and the Parrot form you get from Lolosia. A huge majority of forms are from collection shops.

I think pets would make the most sense. Maybe instead of referring to it as a "pet collection", it should be referred to as a "pet shelter", and you are able to put your pet (from your inventory) into the shelter, and claim back that pet at any time. It makes more sense than deleting/selling a pet.

Pet collection would definitely make sense right now, but making a "collection" for travel forms is reasonable to do so it doesn't have to be made later.

Aren't you already doing that? I think you meant that you want to attack WITH your dricken. I would really like to do that too.

I play a little game called Wintersun for Android devices. Having a battle pet is a big part of my game.
Would having a pet in battle with you be considered another player? If you equipped the pet, would the dungeon enemies be strengthened? How would that work?

  19. If you think about it, Necromancer is the closest thing we have to a "pet class". You summon your own skeleton to attack monsters for you. A pet class would probably be similar to that; and maybe Necromancer can already be considered a "pet class". I think a more appropriate term would be "helper class".

On Necro, you summon a skeleton to help you. Kind of like Moglomancer summons moglins. A pet class would be similar except the pet would hang around and agro instead of the whole summoning/disappearing thing. You are right. I guess we kind of already have a pet class.
