That's what it was about really. We did have more interesting gearing options which made the game interesting but now we don't have that unfortunately. Our old stat system was also fun to mess around with and if you wanted to do solo bosses you actually needed to have good gear. We had a boss fight that needed a group to fight which was General Gathmor and gear you keep from him was worthwhile to get too (for non-alpha knights definitely). We weren't too strong back which was great! I don't feel upset about pre-beta and I really feel bad about us loosing our varied gearing options and the level of difficulty we had in general.
maybe because first and second kickstarters havent fulfilled their promises to the backers, mostly custom weapons queue, worse part it's almost 3 years or more?
Well with the backers the item designers do have to wait until the backers send them the sketches. They are still waiting on a few of the backers right now.
I don't expect designs from the Moglin Kickstarter to take as long as designs for the AQ3D Kickstarter, especially since the Moglin designs are for AQWorlds. Since AQWorlds runs on Flash, it wouldn't be hard for AE to create 2D stuff. I'd imagine the Moglin Kickstarter would be faster than the AQ3D Kickstarter, in fact. For AQ3D, the developers have to consider 3D models and also painting in 3D.
I dont like how kickstarters have their own personal items .trade could be possible with kickstarters but i dont see how .really looking forward on aq3d trade system of it's going to be for guardians only kickstarters or everyone .zo many items that we wont be able to trade . Armors cost money (guardian chrono 17 chrono 18 and 19 guardian+ also give u armors if u buy it . )those items can be spawned at any time and deleted. My question is can kickstarter items be traded when trade comes
So you don't exclusivity of kickstarter rewards? I doubt that they will be tradeable because you can just unlimited amount of them if you got access to them.
Doubt it. Kickstarter items, and other premium items (Guardian and DC), would likely be locked. I think if AE implemented trading, they would highly want to encourage players to trade craft materials, rather than trade actual items. But if they allow items, it would likely be items that all free players can obtain. It just doesn't make sense why people should be able to trade items that they paid for, because then that could open doors to real world trading.
