But I expect doom weapons to have valuable content rather than repetitive content, especially if the weapons are going to be regarded as "legendary." The whole "grind the same quest over and over again" model doesn't make the weapon feel "legendary" in any way, just dull and grindy. I'd prefer a quest chain, similar to the BLoD quest chain, where you, to some extent repeat quests, but over the time progress to newer quests as you work your way up towards that legendary weapon. That's how I think all legendary weapons should be.

 

They deserve better treatment when it comes to the method to getting them. I agree that a quest chain would have been better for them and we really need quest chains like that more. Fallen Guardian worked nicely and AE should make more story driven quest lines which are worth it to do.

 

I'm just gonna go ahead and grind the whole thing. I have a feeling I'll need it in the future and if I don't it still has a nice animation.

 

I do it everyday like a daily quests lol twice a day, thrice if I am free :d
Less than a month and voila, I will have it w/o realizing it

 

Smart boi. I should try that sometime but I like grinding stuff right after the release.

 

I will grind right away till the end even pulling all nighter grinding if the content isnt solo-able like arena of souls because later on it will harder and harder to gather the team for it.
If the content is easy like new battle gem weapon or this doom staff, I will do it with my own pace, slow but sure

 

It's not too slow to get unless there are other players farming for it actively which can lead you to lose credit to progress in those crafting material quests.

 

well, for doom weapon the only slow factor is spirit crystal crafting time. 1 hours for 1 crystal. Yeah, I know I can just AFK doing other thing while waiting, but still I dont really have much time :d
Some rich boys tell me to use DC, 1 hour = 10 DC, kinda alluring but I dont really in hurry since AE that I know isnt really a fast team if we are talking about game release and update lol

 

I usually grind until I get something whether it's hard or not. But I never pull an all-nighter because I just love sleep too much.

 

I just do all nighter if I get a really good team when grinding it (hi-lvl, no afk-er)
If my team is so-so or worse, I will just ditch it when my time is up

 

Smart boi, sleep is absolutely amazing. It's not worth losing over a game. Unless it's a live event or something.

 

Now I can loot faster

 

It's amazing! Makes doing some dailies even faster.

 

The loot buttons is really convenient I like using it when I'm hunting rares

 

I haven't hunted rares after that update so I haven't really noticed much help. It is kind of nice to not have to walk to a bag and pick it up though.

 

If you run caves like cave of the cure or red betty for juan armor and hunters stake it comes in handy.i like the new rare king ransom you dont need to use the loot button to the item .the rare was a quest item

 

Yeah but the King's Ransom quest was pretty aids lol.

yes it is, now we wont have players keep shouting "dont stand there, I cant loot" or "keep your big skeleton somewhere else, I cant loot".

 

No more people standing on those loot bags is just amazing. Goodbye missed loot!
