I really wonder what kind of bosses we are going to face in Sandsea. A huge dung beetle in those pyramids would be really good, in my opinion.

We can only guess at this point or just look at AE's previous games for possibilities.

So let's do some brainstorming. So, Akriloth was mainly from DragonFable, and I heard he was on AQW too. As I know, Tengu never took place on DragonFable, but he is from AQW. On the other side, Braken is so similar to Kathool Atchoo in DragonFable.

Since I am not an AQW player, I don't know if Sandsea takes place in this game, but it is a very important place in DragonFable sagas. And there is a cruel ruler whose name is ”Sek-Duat”. If they are going to add Sek-Duat to the game as a multi-phase boss, that would be nice.

Not even going to mention monsters from the original Adventure Quest? There are monsters from there which could also see use in AQ3D in this new upcoming region.

It is one of the things that makes AQ3D so unique. They don't need to create new monsters; they already have tons of creative content on their other games, and they just re-create them in 3D. Gathering all of the content in one game is making me hyped.

Taking monsters from AE's other games and putting them to AQ3D isn't really unique. AQW has done that too. Remaking monsters from their other games is still a good opportunity to use monsters AE has made.

I mean, it makes AQ3D unique against other online games, not against other AE games.

AQ3D isn't the only game to do this. World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantasy XIV have pretty much done the same just to give some examples.

They are huge and enormously famous games when compared with AQ3D. The profit of taking some content from a game to add their other game is not a big deal for them, in my opinion. Think about World of Warcraft; I am sure they have the same number of just content creators and writers as how many people work on AE.

AE is a little company, and others are just in the Champions League.

They all still did that and it cannot be ignored. AQ3D isn't unique for having monsters from AE's other games, end of the story. To move another point, AQ3D has a multi-class system and when looking at dungeons and their design, they haven't really been made with Healer class in mind. When Healer class comes out, new dungeons should designed with it in mind unlike how dungeons been designed up to this point. Those new classes could possibly be released the time when Sandsea comes out and I am interested to see mechanics build around healing in mind.

Shadowskull Tower is suffering one for me since I have so many bad and boring memories that I gained while farming Soulborne Axe.

It easier to remember the bad memories compared to the good ones. At least you have it and don't have a memory of you giving up on farming it completely.

Hahaha, but I have that kind of memory for DreadFool Labyrinth. Still did not get Midas' Curse.

  16. You could always create a team of four players, and have each person individually do their own dungeon and find a Rare Chest. And when they find a Rare Chest, they can invite everyone in that team into the dungeon. It's a lot better when you can split up grinding, instead of doing it all by yourself.

But nowadays, that dungeon doesn't matter as much anymore, because over the years, the level cap has increased, which means that you can easily traverse through the dungeon. The dungeons that are boring these days are ones where you can't directly go to players and also have level scaling (or match the current level cap), and most of the boring ones are seasonal dungeons like the ones for Mogloween and Frostval.

It's unfortunate that AE's never been able to make seasonal dungeons as fun, especially since seasonal events are usually special events that players typically enjoy in many other games.

Shadowskull Tower (or Shatterskull Tower, which is it?) used to be my favorite. I proceeded to get Soulbourne Axe, Oroku set, Necrohen hat, etc. Now my favorite is Dreadfool's Labyrinth. While I got Midas' Curse, I still really love the teamwork involved in hunting chests. There are also a lot of new players there to try and help out. Usually the help involves leading DF to the entrance so they can group kill, informing people that summon codes aren't allowed there, and not wanting to kill chest stealers.
