Right handed but my brother is left handed

Usually imma left handed person and it apply to all my works like writing, holding spoon, and doing anything that required my hand xD

 

I'm right handed too and this totally applies xD

 

Right mainly.

However, I use my left whenever I feel the need to try something new.

 

Or maybe make things that you already know how to do more challenging?

 

One thing I've noticed, particularly in dining, is that people will pin their food with their left hand and use a knife to cut the food with their right hand. Then when they're about to eat, they switch the fork to their right hand.

I don't know if people are just bad at using knives with their left hand, but I think that's just a lot of work just to enjoy eating food. I always use my right hand for spoons and forks and my left hand for knives.

 

Some people claim that chirality is genetic, but I disagree; I believe chirality is behavioral. I think an overwhelmingly amount of people are right-handed, because objects presented to them in everyday life were meant to be used with the right hand. When you write things down, you typically write from left to right. When you twist a screw, you twist it clockwise to tighten. When you cut a sheet of paper, scissors work for the right hand, but not for the left hand. Even computer mouse are designed for the right hand.

For kindergartners learning to write for the first time, I honestly believe I can write better with my left hand then they can with their "dominant" hand. How scientists can even make a bold claim to say that the hand you choose is genetic, I have no clue, because it just sounds like some false positive that they went along with. I think having case studies would make more sense, like comparing other civilizations (that aren't necessarily exposed to objects associated with the right hand) to modern civilization (with heavy exposure to objects associated with the right hand), because that would easily show that chirality is behavioral.

 

I am right handed, they do say never trust a lefty. Haha
