Attacks

I just attack people on the richest list that have about 200-300 troops, or people about 600-700 (only if I spy on them first). It's strange, cos I just spied on two people with 600-700 troops, and they both had absolutely appalling attack and defence (around 500 apiece), and I attacked them both several times and didn't lose any troops at all. I'd expect people with that many troops to have a far bigger attack and defence, at least over 10000 apiece.

 

I assume that if they have no armor or training, their defense rating should be around their troop strength.

Yea drako just took me out by what almost 100 troops, yet i seem to have more armour and defense than most of you 600-700 man armies, i felt bad farming yas but after taking that blow, your all going down soon

 

I am already down to 60 troops. I hate being a big farm target.

 

Just attacked Scarecrow, and it was a success, but I only had 800 troops, and he had 2000, so I lost 200 troops. I think the number of troops the enemy has affects how many that you lose... Well, that's the last time I'm attacking him. I'll just have to spend ages building my troops again

And if any of you think I am crazy to attack the 4th time after losing 3 times, it is because I play a Conquest System variant, ForumCiv and I was testing out a theory about a numerically superior force attacking a stronger defense.

I've been coming here and playing because ForumCiv has undergone a reset and there is a 48 hour freeze on attacking there.

I hope I haven't spoiled the game for Joker with my "irrational" attacks. (If I was rational, I'd concentrate on targets with much less defense, so I wouldn't lose as many units.)

I attacked tianhui, which was a bad idea, because I lsot 200 troops, and then he got annoyed and attacked me 5 times, and I've lost like 800 troops from those attacks.

 

Nothing personal i do that to everyone within attack range who attack me.

Ogreman just wiped out ALL my spies in one spy mission! -.-"

How did this happen when you had 440 troops to my 50, doesnt that break the 50% rule already in effect? I thought at first you were mistaken on my attack towards you, but I just cant figure it out, how did you hit me?

 

Even the timeline just makes no sense:
Ogreman - Attack Raid - September 05, 03:48 PM (My attack on Ogreman.)
vyeh - Attack Raid - September 05, 04:05 PM (My attack on Vyeh with exactly 50 troops to his 400.)
vyeh - Attack Raid - September 05, 07:54 PM (Vyeh's attack on me, which means I had around 60-65 troops at that time, and yet the whole time and still even now he has 400+ troops.)

 

From the How to Play Guide:

If you attack someone, they have a period of time to attack you back. The default for Conquest Systems is 48 hours. In the past when I have attacked you, I have been careful to put away as much gold as I could into promotions and upgrades. So you didn't miss an opportunity other than to delay the point at which I started growing by 48 hours.

Although I guessed after the first time you weren't aware of this window, I have had to play as if you would learn about this window at any time. I used the same window to reduce eXoZmM to 50 troops (as you have learned there is not much point in reducing someone further unless you are interested in gold) once he attacked me.

As far as the new nation of Wompers go, if you have 5 active players, you probably have more active players than any of the existing nations.

 

Hmm, to be honest yes this is the first time I read that properly, Ok thats fine, when the window closes your really gonna die then.

Although my favourite part is that he logs in 4-6 times a day to check I haven't destroyed him yet, I don't even care to attack him anymore, it's just funny watching him squirm 15 attacks all to keep me at 50 troops, very good going Vyeh, you are an amazing skillful player.....wait no your not, you just farm -200 troop armies with the strength of an 800 troop army, amazing!!
