Backer Custom Weapon Quests

i remember a backer saying they wouldn't have the public variant upfront

 

the quest would be same as getting staff ofthe abyss but 1000x harder

 

Actually, it might not be easy for weapon backers to create their own quests. I think the developers ultimately decide on how the quests should be, but the backers can still ask to have the quests difficult; they just can't design quests in a specific way, I believe. I actually spoke to DIA who wanted her variant to be difficult to obtain to keep the weapon sort of special.

I don't think so, AE gave people a possibility to get a custom weapon and a way to give this weapon to other players if desired so the Backers have more power on the matter. Most of backers haven't even told about their weapons and if they are obtainable by other players and also even right now we don't really know all about them and of course how could we if the Backers won't tell us?

 

I don't think AE already had plans in mind like animating weapons, making quests for them, and giving backers codes to give to their friends, but the backers just spoke up and AE agreed to it, and they didn't want to disappoint their backers.

 

Well, they should have at least expected such demands because weapon backers should have that right to decide what to do with their custom weapon, i mean they backed for them. These kinds of demands will of course increase the time to get the rest of custom weapons out in the way the backers wanted. AE has delivered many of these already, but i don't think they all are ready yet and that's just me assuming how things are right now. AQ3D team has already many things on their plate with a higher priority so those custom weapons will be eventually be done in the way in a such a way backers wanted when there is time for them.

 

Yeah I think they should make ways to be able to grind certain custom weps. Ofc only if the backers want that to happen.

 

another problem I find is.. I rarely meet most of custom weapon backers, are they retired already?

 

Not all, they just are not the most active. I've seen quite a few.

 

What a waste, since all of them already invest quite a sum on the game :x
Maybe they are waiting when AQ3D has more content or finishing beta phase

 

Yeah probably, or they are just super rich and don't mind.

 

Doubt it. I have a feeling a lot of backers are busy with life or other things while maybe a few have quit the game. They appear in-game once in a blue moon. And I know maybe a few backers who are frustrated at things like model reuse and other sketchy things, especially since AE never asked them if it's alright to use the model or parts of the model from their custom weapon.

 

I've only seen one or two of the models being used. But yeah I would be a bit upset if they did that to me.

of course they are upset, their custom weapon change from unique customized weapon into unique recolored weapon

 

Still I've only seen that happen like once or twice.
