I really like the concept of Pokemon, but I played Platinum, and now I can't be asked to play another one. Legend of Zelda is one of the most greatest game series ever, even though they are generally quite easy games imo. Wind Waker was the greatest one imo (I'm saying imo a lot aren't I? ).
You guys are all wrong. The order of games goes- 1) Madden (series) 2) Zelda (series) 3) other games That's just how it works.
No way, Madden is the best! Not only is it the best-selling sports game of all-time, its also been around longer than many game series (SNES). Plus, sports games in general have always been popular. And @LazyCloud, if you can 10 games better than Madden I'd consider that an achievement. I'm not saying that all sports games are the best (example- NBA Live is terrible) but games like Madden, NCAA Football, MLB: The Show, are classics. I don't see how you can just push them aside like that. I even know some people that don't even watch football and still play Madden. It's a fast-paced, entertaining game that is constantly updated with the best player's statistics, what's not to love?
I guess I just don't care much for sports games, I'm more into 'traditional' games like RPGs, action games, shooters etc
So your saying any game except sports games are traditional? Baseball, Tecmo Bowl, Double Dribble, those aren't traditional? :/

Actually, psufootball... you're right. I guess that I mean the core video game genre that are seen as the 'main' games by most people. Like action, shooter, RPG games.
Oh yes, I love being right! However, I have to disagree with part of the next statement, Madden has people waiting overnight for their reserved copies. It certainly has lots of people very dedicated to it. For example, one of the main reasons I'm buying a 360 is Madden (well, Madden and Halo anyway). And LazyCloud, for the 2nd time, I encourage you to try to come up with 10 better game series than Madden. You say you have thousands of better series, so why not name 10? It's much harder than you think, as much as you may not want to believe it, Madden is a very good game. And as said before, you don't have to be a huge football fan to enjoy it (although in my case... that always helps :grin: )
Idk if I'd put Madden as the top video game of all time but it's defiantly one of the top series of all time. I just hope EA doesn't wreak the whole game with there stupid micro-transaction ideas.
I never thought I'd ever find another place to use this! But yes, I do agree with you, many of the new features are not needed and take away from the fun. My personal favorite was Madden '08, I felt that was the height of the series. I've probably logged over 200 hours on that game, and I still play it, going back and getting all the achievements, etc.
