    Pistons advance to 3-0 with one of the best games they've had in a LONG time. I'm still recovering lol, what a nailbiter. Super happy for the Pistons star, everyone saying he's done and washed up. Had two great games and then set a new career high in points. The guy is unstoppable. I hope he stays healthy, we could go far or if not... it's still gonna be really entertaining. They got a lot of work to do to be a great team though.

    In AQ3D, there was a challenge to see who gets maximum damage. Me and my friends planned to go for highest possible damage. We were able to get 2650.

    Red Dead Redemption 2 confirmed 2 discs. It's also reviewing crazy well and Digital Foundry's tech analyst shows the game is a real technical achievement. The game looks fantastic. Between it and the demo for Cyberpunk, I'm really excited for the future of open world games. Elder Scrolls 6 is gonna be insane.

    Black Desert open beta on Xbox Nov. 8th.

    Trion Worlds acquired by Gamigo. Trion best known for Rift. Not sure what to think, they instantly had layoffs so that sucks but it's possible the company wouldn't have survived without being acquired either so dunno. Trion management made a lot of bad choices, I know it's easier said than done but no one liked the models' Rift and ArcheAge had. ArcheAge was literally sunk before it even got going... just really pay to win. MMO market is just really tough these days.

    Stardew Valley is now out on iOS. Android coming at a yet to be announced date.

    Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire is 50% off until Nov. 4th. It doesn't go on sale often so it's a good buy if interested. It's a solid expansion on its own but at the $15 sale price, would be worth it just to get access to mounts.

    In some Xenoblade news, Xenoblade Chronicles X is looking less likely for Switch. Here is the quote:

    I think X would do well on Switch but it's understandable they may want to focus resources on the future rather than taking a chance on the past.

    IBM is purchasing Red Hat for 33 billion. Red Hat is very enterprise and server-focused but they are also the largest open source company in the world and at or near the top of Linux kernel development every year for ages. It's kinda sad to see them get gobbled up by a big tech company, especially after all these years of building to become a force themselves. They said this will change nothing but everyone says that... only time will tell. Still, it's a big success for open source software, as long as ultimately it doesn't lose it's best ally.

    Pistons in a tough stretch now, funny how fast things can change. One really bad loss and then two close games that just didn't go their way. It's frustrating because of all the losing this past decade but it's at least a fun team to watch. Hoping in time they'll figure it out, they got a ways to go though.
