Finally got to play ACC with my wheel. It was amazing, ACC is really in a league of it's own when it comes to GT racing. The wheel feels so good an everything works great. I wish the game optimization was a lot better but that'd really be my only real issue with the game. Well an the lack of content but it's following a real racing series so it makes sense at least.

2k has set the next gen versions of NBA 2k21 at $69.99. The current gen version will remain $59.99 an obviously they won’t be free upgrades. Take Two, parent of 2k, really doesn’t get enough credit for how anti consumer they are. Always hear about EA an Activision but Take Two is right with them if not worse. I understand the price may have to go up at some point but NBA 2k is so full of MTX an ads nonsense it’s just plain greedy... an we all know that MTX won’t lighten up with this increase.

Watched Somali and the Forest Spirit, what a wholesome story. An it has pretty good art an animation too. Really enjoyed it.

Xbox Games Showcase has been scheduled for July 23rd @ 9am PT. Hopefully this time we’ll get actual gameplay. Rumors are Fable will be announced. It’s also possible we could get a price and or release date on Xbox Series X, in a normal year we probably would’ve got it last month. We should get a good look at Halo Infinite... I also expect “Forza Motorsports 8” to be officially announced along with gameplay to showcase Xbox Series X.

So ready for this heatwave to be over. Even with AC (not the greatest AC) it's roasting most of the day... gaming is a no go most of the day, just makes it even hotter. Hopefully cooler days are ahead.

I’m still baking... goodness, heatwave go away please. Last two weeks have felt so slow in terms of progress, exhausting to do anything. My brain doesn’t want to function. Looks like next week will have a couple days of sorta relief... still hot tho.

My AC island is finally 5 stars. It took a long while to get enough items that I want to place around the island. Can’t say I’m real impressed with the selection in that regard unless I’m just unlucky. The more indoor focused items are pretty good though.

Tomorrow at noon eastern (11am for pre-show) Microsoft will be streaming an Xbox Games Showcase. All first party Xbox games will also release on PC and third party titles will be showed too. So should be stuff for everyone regardless of your platforms of choice.

Xbox Games Showcase was pretty underwhelming. Halo was about the only real gameplay we got, the rest of just snippets or cinematic’s... heck one of the games had like a 2-3 minute trailer an we still have no clue what the actual game is. That said, Xbox did announce some potentially cool stuff. Of note for me is Avowed and Fable!

Curious to me Forza Motorsports got announced, which was no surprise but then they didn’t call it Forza 8 an stated it’s in early development. Crazy since this was widely expected to be a Series X launch title but now it’s looking like next year.

Halo looked alright but the graphics were very underwhelming for next gen. It’s really weird as this was supposed to be the showcase title an it looks worse than some games we have now. An without Forza, nor any other true next gen looking title. Xbox Series X is about to have nothing to really show it off.
