Lots of fall tv shows starting, Luke Cage is hitting Netflix soon too. I don't understand why they do this, was literally nothing over the summer so instead of sprinkling a few in we'll just release them all at once in the fall when their is tons of competition. They expire too lol, not sure how to keep up with it all.

I'm always amazed how hot computer parts can get, my GPU while gaming hits 71c (designed this way) which is almost 160f... which is crazy hot. My CPU too... even a little hotter at peak. That's a lot of heat. Amazing what modern PC parts can do.

Still no official Nintendo NX news, I'm really hoping it's not heading for a delay but I'm kinda not seeing how it wont be. They are running out of time... I guess I kinda hope they aren't going traditional here an going with a short announce to release window. I'm not sure how it'll work because it hasn't been done in a long time. I suppose phones do it all the time so it could work but it'll still need more than a couple weeks.

Who knows I guess but really Nintendo is a marketing genius, they announced the console what 2 years ago now? Have basically said nothing since an NX is still a super popular topic. That's pretty impressive.

Beat Forza Horizon 3... well in terms of the main goal, overall only 25% done o_o. Massive game but so well done, one of the best racing games in some time, my favorite open world racing game since Burnout Paradise.

Oct. 4th Google will be announcing it's new Pixel phones an whatever else they have cooked up. Keep an eye out for that on Tuesday if you have any interest. Nvidia is rumored to have a 750 Ti replacement coming this month as well, looks to be priced reasonably an pretty powerful. Suppose to be a 75w card too which hopefully the various vendors wont screw up. Until then 750 ti and Rx 460 remain the top budget options if you require a 75w an under card.

Skyrim Remastered is coming this month, it will be free on Steam for those who own Skyrim Legendary Edition an I think those who own Skyrim + all 3 DLC. On consoles it'll be $59.99 (because it's never been on Xbox One or PS4)... which honestly is pretty stupid. I think it should be $39.99 tops. Graphics overhaul an mods doesn't justify full price again in my opinion. It what it is, still one of the best RPGs ever.

Pixel Phones announced today an man, what a disaster. They offer nothing special, honestly nothing worth the premium price they want. They slapped together what imo is sorta ugly HTC build an put an iPhone level price tag on it. It comes in two sizes, the smaller one only has a 1080p screen, it was largely believed because of this it'd be a more affordable option... it's not, it's right in line with the bigger one.

Is a bigger problem here though, updates. Google is only promising updates for 2 years... this was OK on a Nexus device, most Nexus devices sold were in the $200 to $400 range. The Pixel base model is $649... it only goes up from that lol. Who is gonna pay that kind of money for a phone that will stop getting updates in 2 years?!?!

This leaves Android users in a tough spot. If you want guaranteed updates you gotta pay out the nose for a Pixel or roll the dice with the other manufacturers... which can be very hit an miss. This is just nuts, the update problem was suppose to get better... now it's looking worse. The thought was with a premium price tag Google would at least support the phone longer but nope. An if Google themselves can't be bother to support it's premium device for more than 2 year why should anyone else in the Android space?

My next phone might just be an iPhone. At least on that side of the fence you get updates for quite some time an with no carrier non-sense.

Google also announced Google Home, it's answer to Amazon Echo. Basically a device you place in your house and can activate by voice "Ok Google" an then ask it whatever you want an it will answer you. Pricing is $129 which is kinda in line with Echo but Echo can be found cheaper at this point. It also comes with 6 months of Youtube Red.

Google Wifi, a router by Google. Pricing is $129. Can buy a pack of 3 for $299. Apparently each one can seamlessly work together to create a strong network across the whole home. The idea is probably one on each floor for multi level homes/an to cover bigger houses better.
