LCS Spring Split is over. I expected to see more from TSM, but they still need to bound as a dream team, not as talented solo players.

Playoffs start on 2nd April for both Europe and North America.

Two Worlds III announced, honestly I like Two Worlds 1&2... I would NOT recommend anyone buy them though. They are pretty bad... especially the first one. However! They have a sorta charm to them if you can look past the issues and the improvements from 1 to 2 were great. I'm glad they are continuing with the series and hope they can finally pull it off. Two Worlds 2 is also getting a engine update and new DLC (not sure if paid or free yet... likely paid). Announcement below:

Also worth noting you can pick up Two Worlds 2 for $2ish on Steam right now. Can get both 1&2 plus Pirates DLC for $3.99.

Played a bit of Dragon Age Inquisition, can't decide if I like it or not. On one hand it's a very good looking game, I like that it's a group of 4, I like the abilities. I like that my group members can be auto leveled, I find it more immersive as they can think for themselves so to speak. I'm liking the story telling... which was a big strong point of Dragon Age: Origins.

However the world while open does feel a bit funneled... it's not completely open world either. Quests feel kinda MMO ish aka simple but their are TONS, like I haven't seen this many quests since Skyrim. I have a feeling all the side stuff might drown out the main quest. The game does feel kinda repetitive and stale too, I'm not sure what it is... the exploration doesn't feel right. Maybe it's the funneling dunno.

Getting more and more excited for DC Universe Online's Xbox One launch... we still don't have a release date but I'm really itching to jump back in. Had a great time with it on PS3 couple years ago now. Also looking forward to Quantum Break releasing next week, not sure I'm gonna pick it up yet but leaning towards yes... it looks really cool and the game is tied in with an in game live action TV show. I'm hoping this is another step in the right direction for video game story telling.

Final Fantasy 15 released Sept. 30th 2016. It's looking pretty awesome. They are also doing a short anime, plus a full CG movie. The movie looked so real... I can wait for video graphics to catch up with that. :O The much rumored PC version has now been debunked for now, the new demo (Platinum Demo) is console only and the developer has been quoted on saying they couldn't develop both console and PC simultaneously so are focusing on consoles.

HOWEVER! They did say they will take a long hard look at bring it to PC after the console versions are done. That might sound bad but remember consoles are closer to PC hardware these days than ever, porting to PC might not actually be a big deal and if they decide to do it we may even see a PC release the very next year (not enough time left in the current year at console release date).

Further incentive of this is NX may be released this year or next. We don't know enough yet about the new Nintendo console but it's very possible FF15 could make it's way onto that as well (assuming it's even a console!). Especially if it's next year, it'd give Square good reason to keep a team around to port, get both platforms done in one swing. Of course this is all pure speculation and a lot of reaching but we can dream, right?

Played the Final Fantasy 15 Demo and it was pretty solid. Combat is a little weird but graphically the game is insanely good. Performance on my Xbox One was solid but not as quite as smooth as it should be. I can't say enough about the graphics though, I'm not really a "graphics person" but everything has great detail and the lighting is awesome... I'd put it up with Gran Turismo 5-6 which has quite possibly the best video game lighting ever.

THAT said, the lighting engine is not perfect and it gets unnecessarily dark during some phases in time change or just plain looks off until it works through to the next phase (especially problematic when it really starts restricting your ability to see) but given it has a full day-night cycle and was sped up quite a bit to showcase it that might be why. Weather was also in and again quite stunning.

Based on the trailers and what was showed in the demo it's pretty amazing that the visuals are legit, add in it's going to be a huge open world and I just don't know how they did it. Very impressive.

Today, I am going to Belgrade to my sisters birthday party. I hope I will survive, because I really don't like traveling and I usually get sick and disoriented lol. Can you suggest anything I could do while in the train?

Team Solomid has yesterday defeated Cloud9 in semi-finals of NA Spring Split Playoffs and is going to play versus Immortals in half-finals. They're going to need luck.
