Back from almost a week of death... ugh, still not 100% but least things have improved. Hopefully it stays that way. Gaming goals for this month, probably more RuneScape, really need to get back to Xenoblade 2 and maybe look into a new game or two. Kinda interested in Sea of Thieves, they have another test coming up so will probably jump into that... not been completely sold but have had some fun times.

Picked up Elite Dangerous on sale and it's all the space I've ever wanted. I should've picked it up sooner. It's not a very user-friendly game though and the grind looks to be rather insane... definitely not a game for everyone. It reminds me a lot of them old space games back in the day. I've never played Star Citizen but it's kinda what I hoped that game will be, or at least the foundation of it... Elite Dangerous has a lot of stuff but it's still kinda bare-boned.

Pistons are pretty much done for this year, they are quite the mess at this point... kinda disappointing given the start they had. Hopefully the rest of the season they can do something, that way it's fun at least. The bigger problem is their future, they are maxed out on cap space, have no draft picks and the young players aren't looking special. How they improve is anyone's guess.

Nintendo just had it's latest Direct. Couple new things announced, lots of release dates too. The two big things here were Splatoon 2 expansion and Smash. Not really excited about the Splatoon 2 expansion, I didn't really like the singleplayer anyways so I'll probably just skip it. I'm not really into fighting games either but will very likely pick up Smash anyways, it's just a fun all around game. It's been announced it's coming sometime this year.

The most disappointing thing was still no Animal Crossing and I'm not sure what the announcement of Smash means for AC's release especially if Pokemon Switch does make 2018. That'd be a lot of eggs in 2018's basket.

Played a bit of Skyrim the last few days an I'm still pretty amazed by the game. Even for its age, it's still a pretty nice looking game, it has a lot of rough edges sure but it does have some nice visuals and detail. Been playing on Switch which makes it even more impressive, it's crazy having a game like this on a handheld.

The music though, it has brilliant background music that just draws you in and never gets in the way. It can be a really peaceful game to just wander around listening to the music and watching all the random animals, bugs etc. Looking at the landscapes etc... I mean you'll be constantly pestered by wolves and destroyed by bears but otherwise, it's a pretty relaxing time.

The night sky too, the game has some really great night skies and it cycles through them so it's not always the same visuals, from Aurora to full moons and super colorful skies... it's a really nice effect.
