Do you prefer walk throughs or play throughs?

Yes walkthroughs really create the stableness of the game. Everyone that is new to a game, needs some type of tutorial just in case if the game is too complex. Therefore, using just a playthrough will help players go by quickly just by performing it yourself.

Yeah i guess thats true.. I said playthroughs but it really depends on what u want.. If u are in a hurry or currently playing the game and got stuck at some point u gonna go with walkthrough otherwise if u are bored and wanna have some fun (depends on the maker of the video and his humor) u gonna sit and watch him play...

 

I prefer play throughs, just so the player can experience what occur in the game with first hand experience.

Play it first w/o guide. If it's interesting and replay-able, I will do the second round with walkthrough to achieve the perfect result

 

Some people want to experience the game on their own first and then go for optimal route. It really depends on what you are playing any way. If it's story driven then it's better to go blind.

 

mostly I played again if there is multiple endings involved like suikoden 2.
My first playthrough was disaster, I missed side-quest, I failed to gather all heroes, I let the childhood friend of my main hero died, I was unable to save my rival. And later I played again with walkthrough and got best-ending but still the first playthrough is what I always remember...

 

The first playthrough really is something that you won't forget.

 

Walktroughs because I dont want the game spoiled. I only search up things I can't figure out by myself or things like tips and tricks.

 

I have a habit of looking at videos whenever I'm stuck on something. Like for example I recently finished Uncharted 4 my favorite part of the game was the parkour but sometimes I wouldn't know where to climb lol. Like I'd just be staring into Sam Drake's eyes and I'd be like, dude you're so useless all you do is follow me lead the way for once LOL!

 

Yeah, I can see why you feel that way. Experiencing something by yourself makes it special.

 

On the other hand, there are some games I do prefer watching instead of playing myself. That's typically the type of game that I'm kind of into but I don't love like "Until Dawn". Also its less scaries to watch someone play it than actually playing it yourself so that's another reason to why I would watch playthroughs lol.
