Do you think that gamers who reach max level are hackers?

It depends on the game and when the date their account was created. If they're account is 1 week old and they're already max level that could raise some curiosity.

 

People that do hacks usually try to not call attention so they may not even be max level.

 

I don't want to assume things so i'll just stay neutral.

 

Depends on the game and its not just lvls there can be a kill,win,headshot etc leaderboard... But yes there are some cases of hackers being on the top of the lists..

 

I feel like it's usually the case for very grindy games or very competitive games, but not so much for casual games. Yes, it does greatly depend on the game since it's probably not worth it for players to take advantage of more casual games. Also popularity of a game can play a huge role, especially with players wanting to be in the spotlight of things.

 

Rraching max level is not hacking lol. Either you are good at it or very grindy.

Defiantly not. Hackers doesnt usually go for max level, why, cause its not challenging they dont do it anyway. If they will hack theyll do something that normal players can't. i.e. invincible, duplicates of rare items. The ones that flaunt their "Max" are the people that grind for it for weeks on end.

 

Nice point Rue. And hackers dont usually care if they get banned so they wont put much effort in actually playing it tho hacking levels is also possible.

 

If you'e a seasoned gamer, and a complete nerd like me, it becomes obvious who hacks. I've never hacked to level up in games, because imo that's ultimate stupidity. But when someone does, you can see they normally have all the best items etc, and in some games where you can see the date of character creation, it becomes obvious who hacked their way to the top. It depends though, gotta say. I've seen such freakish gamers that only have all the best stuff because they genuinely play on a level that could hospitalize them. They exist and I've seen it.

 

I see more people use hacks in game... but its so stupid to use hacks for reach lvl max :/

Basically No. They were called Addicted to the game .. spending alot of hours 24/7 hrs maybe a day

 

If they actually hacked their level to max level then yes but otherwise no.

 

The majority aren't hackers and have just played way more than you which then shouldn't amaze you as to how they reached max rank. As an example, if you're playing 2-4 hours on an average day, those that have reached max rank play 8-10 hours and even more.

 

Most hackers will retire halfway, mostly because they will get bored with their cheat and then play another game

 

There's even some that will bot to eventually sell their accounts. And a lot of them get away with it which makes then want to try it a second, third time.

There will always be a few though, but for the most part, I think imposed level caps do a good job in not encouraging people to abuse the game to gain an absurd level. It also depends on the game, and many other factors.

But usually in games without any level caps (e.g. every next level is logarithmic), it's easy to tell who's cheating, because they'll usually be at the highest point in the leaderboard (if there even is a leaderboard). And I think a leaderboard system for levels actually encourages cheating even more, because people will desperately want to be at the top no matter what.

But since levels do have a certain cap in the majority of MMORPGs, it's pretty difficult to tell whether someone is a cheater or not.
