    I've always found it a gentlemanly intellectual game, there's something very regal and royal about it. That being said, I've never gotten into it that much. I remember getting destroyed by a 10 yr old kid that enjoys it, his mum told me he's very skilled so I took it lightly and found out the kid could take on grown men :D
