Introducing the Pit

Anybody else what? If I see somebody who is not a veteran gone long enough, they are going in the Pit.

 

I addressed him in that thread.

Also wanted to note that just logging may not save you from the Pit if you have not posted in weeks. The only exception is for Ogre Veterans.

 

May not use the Pit as much as before. Mainly for complete vanishing acts on occasion. Infractions and reputation will be used more for day to day type stuff.

 

The pit may see a comeback for those who stop being active and want to "cash out". The problem with this is it takes away from the members who are still active. Seen a lot of this from ones who get impatient or who seem positive they will not be a Royal. The problem is if they believe this enough that they stop being active, it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy lol. However, we have named Royal Ogres recently and more will be added

 

Yea, some will be joining the Pit this week if they stop posting and just seem to be waiting to cash in on a card or something. The only group that is exempt is the Ogre Veterans.

 

If you find yourself in the Pit you will have no points until you get out. You will also not be able to chat anymore. This what happens when you stop all activity or vanish.

To get out, you have to be active again. By active, I do not mean not posting and just PM me saying that you want to return lol. Also, not going to answer any questions from people in the Pit. You need to post some for a few days and then contact me if you have not been reinstated yet.

Anybody who gets too froggy in the Pit will be clubbed and then the matter really will be decided. Keep in mind tyhat the Pit is the closest you can be without getting the actual Big Club.

 

Some do not think it is cool lol. However, it does have it's uses.

 

Used it once almost twice this weekend for basically not listening to what I have told them via PM and even in threads.

If you (talking in general) are not active and do not plan to be again for whatever reason, that is not when you try to buy something from the Shop and then bug me about it. Guess what? If you have time to bug me, you have time to post.

The whole point of the shop etc is to reward people for being Active and to continue that. If what I tell you is ignored and you keep doing it, the Pit will be the next step. If that starts a greater problem, will just end that matter with a Club. Hopefully, it does not come to that because like Brankon said above, the Pit can be used as a second chance. He is right, because people have returned from the Pit, but I can't recall anybody returning from the Club.

 

If your name is black and you can not see your activity or forum points, it is because you are in the Pit. Funny how that happens after a couple of months of no posting huh lol?

There were a few members who would take off a year and return in December because the system does reward those who are here longer. However, we made the Pit to take that away from the inactive members since they were not helping out the forum at all. Thus, only active members should benefit from time.
