    Apple is premium even here in the US, it's what Apple focuses on and they refuse to move off that track. It's served them decent in the early years but history is kinda starting to repeating itself. Android has taken over the top spot of the market in devices sold because devices come in every shape, form and price.

    OEMs are doing it for profit but it's nice they have been able to bring smartphones to everyone, making phones that anyone can afford.

    4 months later I gotta say I still love Android more. I actually wasn't very big on it for the longest time despite loving Linux but the more I use it, the more I like it. Android Lollipop is looking fantastic and I can't wait to see where Android goes next. It's really matured over time and has become a really well done mobile OS.

    iOS and Android got his pro and cons ....
    For example Androids Emulator are not so good as iOS but iOS emulators are cheaper then Androids ...
    iOS are easier to develop and the quality is higher than Android...

    I dont know ... i would say its a draw ... :)
    I would not "run" away from iOS ... neither from Android :)

    I have a really hard time believing this. Android is ridiculously open. Assuming you talking about OS emulation for app development it'd be easy for them to take ASOP and create legit custom emulators where as iOS it'd be all hack work... not to mention probably illegal because of Apple.

    I don't understand cheaper either. Android SDK which includes an emulator is free:

    Even if we are talking platform emulators, it's exactly the same deal. iOS doesn't allow them and they are hack jobs requiring Jailbreak. Emulators are literally in the PlayStore on Android and run ridiculously well.
