It is possible , but in most cases even if the team starts winning other team can win if someone in the leading team leaves. (VERY ANNOYING)

    Tips about ranked games

I found one really good text about ranked matches hope it will help you
Kind of disappointed that it's come down to this, but with the server downtime I figured I'd make a thread to explain to a few people that it's not 'always' other peoples faults for being in the elo that you're currently in.

I know way too many people that blame other people for being in Bronze. Kind of frustrating that every player in Bronze, doesn't realize that they belong there. I was in Bronze 4 when this ranked system took over. I'm now Silver 5 after carrying myself out of it and managed to hit my Promotion Series in Bronze 1 six times. That being said, it is manageable to get out of the elo you're currently in.

So here's a few tips of why you're currently in Bronze.

    1) Take responsibility of why you're in the elo that you're placed in. You're not going to win every game, but as long as you're not the reason you're losing, you should be winning at least 50% of your games if you don't belong in your current elo.

    2) Don't play champions that require specific rune pages if you don't have the runes for those champions. Should be relatively easy to follow but you'd be surprised by the number of players.

    3) Don't try experimental things in ranked games for the first time, or you will become the problem for losing that particular game. Granted, this could go either way, but it's typically not how the game goes.

    4) Don't play ranked games if you don't have completed rune pages for multiple roles. Not only will this sink you further into elo hell, but it'll only feed your mentality that it was others faults for you losing.

    5) Don't play champions that you're unfamiliar with. Even if it requires you to dodge, do it. Don't play a champion for the first time in a ranked game.

    6) Be capable of playing every role in the game, and be willing to fill for your team. A cooperative player is the best player. Being that one player on your team that can ONLY play adc won't look good. What if you have a player that is just like you and only knows how to play adc as well? Easy to tell the direction this game is going already, isn't it? Not only this, but if you only know how to play one role, chances are you can't play that role all that well either.

    7) Keep track of timers. Time everything... Opponent's flash timers, teleport timers, objectives, buffs, wards, etc. This will only help to your benefit in the long run.

    8) Don't wander off into the Fog of War. Seems simple, but this is the most common mistake made by players of all elo. Simple concept yet hard to avoid.

    9) Don't give up free objectives. A dragon that isn't warded until the 25 minute mark is almost asking to lose the game for your team. Make sure that you have control of your objectives at all stages of the game.

    10) Don't be a toxic player. Harassing a teammate for making a mistake listed somewhere in this post, may only make them play worse. At this point, they may be too uncomfortable typing and defending themselves than actually being productive with memorizing key elements of the game such as timers, or even farming.

    11) Farm properly. Don't die trying to get cs. I can't tell you how many players see a gank coming there way but die anyway because they needed to get that last hit on a caster minion. Additionally, be sure to last hit cs and don't take too much harass in lane while going for cs.

    12) Don't rely on unreliable teammates. If you see a player on your team failing often on your team, don't let them bring you down by thinking you can win particular fights that you can't win. Example: Jungle ganking with less than 30% of their health and you having no mana.

    13) When lane phase is over, group up with your team and be sure to keep your lanes pushing. Don't lose the game by having no map awareness and/or getting caught. This is the stage in the game that people can't seem to grasp and it's what causes the most throws in the game.

    14) It's not ONLY Supports job to ward. As a team, the entire team should be assisting in this.

    15) Don't trade kills unless there's no other way out. Too many players in lower elo seem to think that the team with the most kills wins games. But when the score ends 60/72 does it really make a difference at this point? This simply tells better players that the game went on too long and nobody forced any objectives to be taken. It also states that people had the mentality of not realizing all the additional gold they're giving when both adc's get kills, but the enemy team got an assist as well. Assists count for gold, so the less assists/kills total you give them, the better.

    16) Learn from your mistakes from play to play and game to game. This will help you improve as a player throughout the duration of your games, if not in future games.

    17) Know your true damage. Especially for smite. This is the best way to secure objectives when obtaining the larger Dragon and Baron objectives.

Hope these help, because it's the largest problems in Silver/Bronze elos, yet everyone seems to blame others. Good luck!

Edit: If there's any players, preferably of a higher elo, reading this guide that has anything to add or an opinion of disagreement, feel free to post it. I'd be interested in adding things I may have missed and reading why something may be incorrect. It may actually end up helping me improve as a player myself.
