Marvel Heroes Random Hero Box Key Giveaway

Having switched to Marvel Heroes from Diablo 3, I can assure you that MH is a game that is leaps and bounds ahead of its competition. With the plethora of heroes available for play, compared to D3's meagre 6 heroes, variety is not a problem in this game. Furthermore, there are many things you can do after you hit the level cap of 60, compared to D3, where all you do are bounties and rifts after hitting 70.

All in all, it is still a hack and slash game, and a grind is still necesssary in order to play the game.

 

Favorite Hero: Lady Deadpool

Why: Besides the obvious, that it's a female Deadpool and I am a female, it's the play style. I do not like to be forced into one style of play. Many MMO's are guilty of that. Lady can be played either at range, sporting twin 9 mills, or at melee range using two katanas. She shares a healing factor similar to Wolverine so her survivability is nice as well. Her skills are humorous. She tosses out little explosive teddy bears and small stuffed heroes that boost. The best feature though would be her mouth. She has similar smart mouthed remarks as her male counterpart. She knows she is in a game and is quick to remind you if you stay idle for too long. She seems to always have a witty comment for whoever is around her as well. She is a loud mouthed, long haired, dual pistol'ing, sword swinging assassin and a lot of fun to play.

Over the years, game companies have gotten a really bad reputation for throwing out half finished games and taking your money for them. The once touted "giants" of the marketplace, such as Blizzard, are now being looked at like they are thieves in the night. They have no interaction with players and make no attempt to include player opinion in the future of their games.

Gazillion does not fit that mold, in fact they "Hulk Smash" that mold. Gaz is ever present in the forums. Developers like Doomsaw and Rylonir can be seen in the forums daily asking about what players think about the direction of the game. In fact players requests are all around in Marvel Heroes.

Price drops, in game currency to buy heroes and team ups, new costumes, new heroes...all content requested by the players and implemeted by the company. Even the CEO of Gazillion Entertainment has a stream on Twitch. You can personally ask him questions while he and his wife enjoy playing the game. That in itself is something of a rarity in multiple ways. First of a CEO putting himself out there in his personal space. Next he is interacting with the public and doing Q and A personally, on his own time. But what jumps out to me the most is that he enjoys playing his own game.

Gazillion is what a gaming company should be. It shows in Marvel Heroes. Almost every week the team puts a new event in game. They keep it fresh and fun. They want you to want to log in and play. The most impressive part, they don't even ask you to pay anything.

Marvel Heroes is a diamond in the rough when it comes to ARPG's and games in general. There is so much more then run the story, change difficulty and run it again. The team is working non stop to ensure that content does not get stale. They have recently implemented the very first ARPG Raid.

If you are getting tird of the same old MMO grind, take a break and switch genres for a second. Maybe MH is what you have been looking for. But you will never know unless you try it out.

scarlet witch has gotta be my favorite right now. shes great at CCing trash, but it doesnt work too well with bosses. for them, chaotic hex works wonders! shes great in midtown too, using chaos warp to obliterate mobs and with her chaos shift, she can get anywhere fast! as far as comics goes, shes the anchor of the 616 reality. Im upset that she died in uncanny avengers, but im sure once the timestream is set right she will be back!

Why: It might seem like an obscure hero to list as favorite but I'm listing her because of what I think her in game playstyle appears to be. Favorite Hero: Wolverine

Why: I tend to play melee DPS characters in MMORPGs and that's continued into Marvel Heroes. Wolvie's wound attacks and his health regeneration fit into my play style well. His "Borrowed Ride" skill was a nice surprise and is my favorite travel skill.

Fave hero : Silver Surfer

Who doesn’t love the silverish bald hero who cruises around the galaxies on his silver surfboard! And with power cosmic to boot! The combo of death from below and subspace rift is just divine, totally obliterate trash crowd and bosses easily. And the way he cruise leisurely (hover) or soar (awesome pose during flight) with that cosmic tail trailing behind and damaging enemies in his path, it is just YUMILICIOUS! Thanks Gaz for this hero!

Rocket racoon.
He is a summoner who can summon groot, a tank if there ever is any together with his turrets he can draw agro to these turrets and groot so rocket can use great gund (the big flarking gun is amazing" if you use summon enhancing amulets like the one from sisnister and the latvaria regalia artifacts you can make your summons do almost all of the work for you. and he has some of the most funny speaches "You were thinking (in a high pitched voice) Oehw he is just a little raccoon (in his normal voice) And then BAM"that craks me up every time.

My favorite hero is Spider Man. Because when I was a little boy, I saw Spider Man Series on TV and was totally thrilled about him.
In my opinion he´s the best hero in the whole Marvel Universe. Thanks alot to Stan Lee, the godfather of Spider Man!!!

On Marvel Heroes it was my first char i bought with real money and he´s just a beast and I can totally recommend him.
He´s got an epic playstyle and really nice costumes. Never regretted his Purchase, 100% worth it!

My favorite hero has always been Gambit.

Beyond his cool abilities I loved his charm and charisma. His personality really sold the character overall. The fact that he landed Rogue made him that much cooler to me.
