Hello, my favourite Hero is Deadpool, always Deadpool!
He is very funny, has nice Costumes and his Playstyle just works out for me. Teleport, strong Rangeattacks, Tankpet, Heal. All what you need vs. an angry Boss.
Just his Ultimate Power could need a Boost / Change.

I've played path of exiles and Diablo 3 and right now Marvel Heroes is holding my attention better, Scarlet witch is my personal favorite since she was my first, and you always remember your first.
Especially when it's blowing up entire screens into a fine red mist of goons.

    My favourite hero is Spider-Man.

Despite the current lack of quality in his comic storylines, Spider-Man's story is one of the few stories of the Marvel universe that has evolved over the years. Starting as a teenager, thrust into a world of costumes, characters and crooks, Spider-Man always attempted to live up to the motto of his Dead Uncle Ben.

Nowadays, comics Spider-Man has grown into a solid, dependable hero with no qualms of placing himself in harm's way to help the populace of New York City. His early teen years, full of awkward transitions in both family and heroic life, have settled into a pattern, and Spider-Man is now a capable adult, with hard-won experience under his belt. He now stands as a model for teen heroes to aspire too, as his courage, dedication and intelligence has allowed him to triumph over adversity time and time again.

Possessing the proportional strength, speed and agility of a spider, armed with the ability to stick to walls, as well as an uncanny sense that avoids danger, and with his trusty web-shooters on his wrist, Spider-Man is a true hero.

My favorite hero is Thor. Unfortunately Thor is in desperate need of a review, which won't happen for at least a few months.

In the meantime I'm playing Silver Surfer. Fortunately SS is an absolute blast to play. He can open up wormholes to deep space, fly around the planet and attack the bad guys through the earth, and create small black holes sucking in enemies, and other awesome stuff.

1-25 he is fun, 25-40 he slows down and is a bit clunky, but once you get over the hump and have access to Supernova, he turns into a beast. Highly recommended.

I chose Luke Cage as my MH starter hero and he's still #1 in my heart.

Okay, first of all, let's just put it out there that Luke Cage is cool as hell, much cooler than the average superhero. He's a normal guy with pretty much a normal past and normal problems who also happens to be a superhero. He doesn't bother with a bunch of stupid secret identity/costume stuff (anymore). He's willing to tell Stark and Richards &c when they are being idiots (which is most of the time). Just, y'know, generally a rad dude, and if there's any game to play a character simply because you like them it's Marvel Heroes.

But, of course, this would be no good if he wasn't a good time to play, and he is. Leveling is a breeze, as you cruise around with Cold Shoulder and make the world explode with Cage Was Here, an ability that literally stamps his name on the ground. Once enemies start to get tougher, your combo finishers turn you into a boss-killer par excellance. Meanwhile, you summon and chuck cars at fools on a whim, filling your combo meter with no fuss.

A few bonus little things that make it nice to be Cage: his voice acting is solid and none of his lines are particularly grating (ymmv of course); your summons are well-equipped to get your back against mooks, so stepping AFK for a sec is no sweat; bashing ninjas and robots and elfs with a crowbar is inherently hilarious, especially while they're dropping sweet sweet cake.

    My favourite hero

My favourite hero right now is Ghost Rider. Everything about him kicks ass. A flaming skeleton biker who whirls his chains and stares people to death? Heck yeah!

He's also remarkably easy to level and able to solo cosmic dungeons like nobody's business.

    You can build him two different ways;

-Physical, you will smash enemies to death with your chain while getting healed by the same hellfire you burn and debuff your enemies with.
-Mental, you pretty much just fire your bike at people from every which angle - from the sky, from the ground, while raining down hellfire and deathly stares. Awesome.

Get ghost rider, he's a blast!

This game is awesome. If Diablo 3 left you feeling cold, or Path of Exile didn't quite hit the right buttons for you, then there's a good chance that Marvel Heroes will be the game for you. Better yet, you can enjoy the entire thing without spending a dime. The only thing that you can't earn in-game is stash space and certain fortune cards (which are borderline useless anyways, basically scratch-off lottery tickets where 95% of the rewards are terrible).

It's also a very 'no-pressure' type game. The way the content is set up, you can leave for months at a time and not feel left out. In fact, if you do leave for months, you will come back to a game that is noticeably better than before. This game updates at a breakneck speed. I've never seen a game shoot out so much content so fast. There's maybe like 0.5% of the entire population that can possibly keep up with it all.

Love the idea of these thread contests asking for people to really think about what they are saying.

Marvel Heroes is a fun, easy-to-learn ARPG that has kept my attention and taken my money for over a year now. Simple controls with a great variety of mechanics and styles can work with any level of player, whether they are looking for something simple and easy or something complex and challenging. All one needs do is select a different hero to sample all the ways one can play. More and more heroes are added all the time, and getting them is easy, even without money, although I recommend buying stuff anyway just to support the company and to get some nice extras like interesting costumes and boosts to help your play along.

Play modes range from story missions to repeatable levels (with semi-random layouts) to endless patrols to defenses against increasingly difficult waves of enemies and more, with pvp and raids starting to pop up, too. One is sure to find something to do no matter what their style of play is.

Many heroes (as well as some anti-heroes and occasional villains) are available, drawn from decades of Marvel Comics history and stories, and more are being added all the time, including one upcoming hero who is my personal favorite: Nova.

Nova, the Richard Rider version of him, that is, has been around Marvel Comics since the late 70s, but has not always been popular. I personally fell in love with him in the early 80's when I stumbled upon an issue of What If that had featured a story about him, and I ended up tracking down what I could of his original series, where I found a good story about a teenager not entirely unlike Peter Parker or DC's Ronnie Raymond, whom I enjoyed similarly. He had his own life problems, but fate managed to complicate matters by turning him into a superhero. Suddenly, Rich found something inside himself that he never knew he had, courage and heroism. He learned to be a man, to care for others, and to use his powers responsibly over time, as he went from fighting crime on Earth, to fighting for the defense of the planet from which his powers came.

He loved the hero gig. It had defined him in a way he had never imagined, and even so young, he knew then that this was the best and greatest thing he could be, and it was what he wanted most. That's why it was sad when he gave it up in order to return home. He sacrificed the thing that most defined his own self-identity because it belonged to another place that needed it more than he did.

That wasn't the end of his story, though. He popped up again when Marvel launched the original New Warriors in the 90's, when somebody figured out that there was still a spark of the Nova force in Rich, and managed to reignite it. Needless to say, this was a huge turning point in Rich Rider's life. Since then, he has grown immensely, battling supervillains on Earth, sometimes facing cosmic threats, and eventually participating in bringing back the Nova Corps, which had been all but destroyed, and restoring Xandar. He continued to grow further when once again, the Nova Corps and Xandar were virtually destroyed again, only this time, he had to contain the entire Nova Force as well as the Xandarian Worldmind. This was when most people really learned how great a hero Rich really is. I had already known what kind of man he was years ago, but it was here, at one of the most dire times in the Marvel universe, that he shone brightest, defeating Annihilus, saving countless people, restoring the Nova Corps (again) and the Worldmind and proving his skills and his leadership along the way. He later sacrificed himself in the Cancerverse in order to stop Thanos, the mad titan, but word is that he's coming back soon, and that has me more excited than anything. I can't wait to play him in this awesome game.

I'm going to talk to you all about Cable.

Cable, at first, was not my fave, but he's become a hilarious guy to play as since then and has risen to be my favourite. He is a ranged hero, mainly standing back and shooting, but once you get Quick Bodyslide, his movement ability, he becomes a slippery devil, dropping down AoE DoTs and dodging away from anything if you're quick enough.

Once I learned that ability, I was able to get to places much faster than any other hero, and skip over sections of any level. This makes finishing legendary quests a breeze and looking for specific groups in midtown a piece of cake.

If you get Cable from this, stick with him until you get Quick Bodyslide, then the fun begins.

My favourite hero is Ms. Marvel (Captain Marvel), due to her hybrid energy/melee playstyle being really fun and also due to it fitting Carol Danvers' personality as a pilot/flier and brawler.

Crashdown Strike and Binary Overdrive are some of my favourite effects in the game as well, and shotgunning people with Photonic wave is always fun.

A mechanically competent ARPG using the massive backstory and lore of the Marvel Universe, Marvel Heroes goes well with a subscription to Marvel Unlimited where you learn everything you want to about the character you are playing as, which for me personally makes me enjoy the game even more.

There are many systems that add depth to the game at all levels, meaning no matter what character you play, or what level they are, you are always progressing your account in rewarding ways that transfer over to all other characters in your roster. This makes the replay value extremely high.

The downside is that the game has some serious downfalls with the engine it uses. Only software cursor is supported, meaning if your fps drops so does your ability to move your mouse. The performance is also inconsistent on even the highest end PCs.

Fortunately the game itself is fantastic, and worth ignoring these flaws if you can.

My favorite hero is Wolverine at the moment because of his speed, which keeps the game action packed.
