    This game is truelly amazing.
At first I was rarther skeptical about this game, seeing it was a dungeon crawler.
Like the Diablo series, which warn't very intressting in my opinion.
But I figured I would give it a chance, seeing I love Marvel.
So I started a few weeks ago, and i'm still playing.
Enjoying each time a new hero that I unlock getting me random hero boxes.
Each time a new mystery who I would get and be playing.
It so much fun, I recently obtained Deadpool.
I was like hmm can't be fun, he doesnt really has super powers.
But he comments he makes in the game are so funny, sometimes I just can't stop laughing about them.

A lot of character are like this, and there are so many to choice from.
    Anyones playstyle is avaible.
If you want a tanky char or perhaps a hybrid one.
    It's all there.

The recent additions of the Raid function and the Omega System, sure gave a new spin towards the game.
With many things to try out again.

For any questions let me know :)

Considering I've somehow managed to put over 500 hours into this game, its fair to say that it's incredibly compelling. It manages to constantly make you feel powerful, unlike other action rpgs where the first several dozen hours can leave you feeling about as strong as a kitten. A kitten with the sniffles.

The developers are absolutely fantastic; they are constantly adding new content, listening to feedback and fine-tuning the game. It got off to a rough start, but the new 2015 edition has enough content to keep players engaged from now until ... whenever they stop making it? There are so many heroes to try out, and enough different types of gear to satisfy the min-maxer in all of us. The constant promotions are also a really nice touch, to entice people to keep on playing and reward them with all kinds of fun events.

Seriously, if you're a fan of games like Torchlight, Diablo or anything similar, you owe it to yourself to check Marvel Heroes out. It manages to feel a lot more casual and easier to get into, while still maintaining a surprising level of depth under the surface. 9/10 would don a cape and mask again.

Comment: Marvel Heroes definitely has something to offer to the ARPG genre. The heroes that are available for you to choose (and unlock either by farming eternity splinters or spending money) are varied and all of them bring something unique to the table. Some of them have unique mechanics or resources that no other hero has, and many old heroes are also getting reworked to be updated adding more skills and any mechanics that would fit.

Though there are some problems, such as the game is not really optimized which can lead to performance issues in some places (such as midtown madness or any place where there are many heroes at once). Also some bugs slip by on some patch releases, leading to some skills or effects working improperly. But the team seems to be aware and seem to actively be fixing things as they go along. Gazillion seems to be in touch with the fanbase and post on their forums frequently, so it seems that they are usually on top of things.

What can be said about Marvel Heroes 2015?

The recent patch after the first anniversary of the game has added some rather great content. The game is solid. Purely solid. The obvious diablo 2 influences are felt given the dev team, and the game really is a love letter to Marvel fans.

    Pros:
-Amazing amount of content to be played, at least a couple hours of new stuff everyday in the form of daily quests.
-Love letter to Marvel fans. The nods, quests, characters being added, etc. really are a love letter to people who have been comic fans.
-Game is totally playable without spending a single cent.
-Gazillion has been fantastic with community support.

    Cons
    -Horribly optimized engine.
    -Microtransactions are kinda pricey.

Comment: Marvel Heroes is a solid ARPG that offers a variety of heroes to play as and content for people to play. Although the game is free to play, all the content is available and the frequently acquired Eternity Splinters allow for acquiring new heroes and other items. At late game, players have a variety of ways to play, whether running through the story, terminals (boss levels), running around Midtown with other players, or surviving X-Defense. Raids are a new addition for more organized groups of players to experience

Gazillion is constant updating and improving the content of this game. As a whole, Marvel Heroes has come a long way from the first launch and is a fun game to play."

Marvel Heroes is probably the best loot-RPG I've played since Diablo 2. There have been a lot of games that have tried to capture that feeling, and some have come close, but this game is the best I've played so far.
I could be a bit biased though, I do like the Marvel Universe!

    Pros:
-Can play all the content in the game, with any character, for free
    -Good diversity of characters
    -Decent enough story
    -Good use of source material
    -Lots of community support

    Cons:
    -DLC is expensive

On the whole, a ton of value for essentially no cost to the player. Good stuff.

Edit: put this in the review directory too

I have to say, I tried Marvel Heroes about 6 months ago, I didn't enjoy it much at all.

The game was clunky, lots of frame rate issues despite running it on a solid gaming computer, the starter characters to choose from were poor in my opinion, and the shop was too expensive. And to be fair I was turned off of it quickly enough that maybe I didn't give it a fair chance,

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I heard there was massive improvements so I decided to give it a go once again.

My god they've improved this game, Eternity splinters are a thing now, so you can grind out a specific hero to buy, or you can just buy randoms at a cheaper price with in game currency.

Lots of events going on all the time, larger hero selection to start with, and larger roster in all now. They've fixed a LOT of bugs I took issue with all those months ago.

All together they've put together one of the best ARPG I've played since diablo, and I'm sticking with it now.

My only remaining issue is i still think the cash shop is high, but now that its not necessary it's not a huge issue at all

    9/10 from me :)

    Posted a review :wacky:

The game has improved significantly since it was first release, which I admittedly I just could not get into. But coming back last march I feel MH in its current state blows D3 ROS out of the water with mass amounts of content and constant events to keep everyone busy. Quite impressive that they can juggle/balance so many heroes as well as they have. I'm not too sure on Raids though, but as long as they balance them as accessible and keep them fun it could be good thing in the long run. Just hope they dont' abandoned the ARPG roots of the genre.

Have to say Cable would be my hero of choice. In game, he has the absolute most fun basic ability in Energy Pulse. While he does need a review to flesh out of the rest he's still the most enjoyable for me despite which is saying something. Besides, the war isn't over yet.

    Review: 7/10
    --Pros:
    -Good 'ol loot hunting
    -Several game modes
-Variety of heroes and villains to play
-Stuff explodes all over the place
    -Very forgiving before cosmic-difficulty terminals

    --Cons:
    -Buggy weekly patches
    -Inconsistent drop rates
-Lots of early released heroes in need of review
-Sometimes too much blows up and you can't see what's going on

Game isn't perfect, but it's a lot of fun and the F2P trappings aren't the usual atrocity games use these days.

Comment: The game has come a long way since launch.

    Lets start with the bad:
The story mode leaves a lot to be desired. It is slow exp, it is lacking in loot rewards, and the two big baddies (loki-Doom) feel extremely similar. While it isn't terrible to do one or two times it quickly becomes tedious as you start unlocking new heroes. While you don't necessarily have to complete Story mode, there are permanent stat increases gated behind story content, which means min-maxers are going to do them whether or not they enjoy it.

    The Good:
The rest of the game once you break story modes grip.

Midtown can be tons of fun as you blast through enormous packs of bad guys.

The terminal system as a whole allows you to actively target specific bosses for farming, and goes hand in hand with the legendary quest system.

X-defense can be quite a bit of fun if you go with a good group, or quite a challenge if you go it alone.

The roster is huge and constantly getting bigger.

It is possible to unlock as many heroes as you want without spending any money.

A raid system is rolling out and going through refinements for people who enjoy that sort of game play.

Lot's of special events and giveaways even outside of the current anniversary mega event.

    Final Verdict:
Overall if you like action MMOs I wold recommend this as a solid entry. I gave it an 8 and the only reason I did not give it a 9 was because of my personal dislike of the story mode. If they found a way to bring the story mode inline with the rest of the game rewardwise I would have no complaints.
