it's a good way to fight link spam sure, but theres still those japanese spam threads which are completely annoying.
There has been a lot less spam since we added Captcha, installed a new plug-in, and added a few great mods.

new mems need restrictions on quite a few things. Period! SO WE LIMIT SPAM! I understand we have some people getting beta keys only, but I suggested this before I believe there is an add-on that allows a moderator to moderate your first few posts so nobody else has to see the post.
5 posts then I can post links.. so this means I can now post a link? I am going to start a blog about MMO reviews pretty soon. So can I post the link of my site later once I started doing my reviews of the different MMOs I've played? And also, although this is not link related, I got a contact from the publisher of Aika Global and they asked me if I can post their press releases here. I already posted one in the game news but it was redirected to the free mmorpg thread. Can't I not post it in the game news section since it's more appropriate there?
Ogreman please note and be careful in the forum games section. I recently noticed that newly joined member(some) are creating advertising threads...... I would suggest that you make this rule - 1 account per IP because I saw some members advertising about the same thing so they most probably have created accounts from same IP too
Please stop putting a link in every post you make. If you become a part of the community here, you can have a link in your sig.
