Off hand

shields are your life, i hope so but ae's not into it now

 

Must be hard to be done than it seems. Lots of domino updates required to make it work seamlessly.
Well, If they can manage to do it, why not? Extra stat

When it becomes possible to have off hand then i am 100% supporting their addition because i really would like to equip a shield or dual wield swords or axes.

 

based on other games they have made I believe they are soon adding dual wielded weapons, but you can't choose which to dual wield. maybe they'll go and add an off-hand for cosmetics (stats would break the game) or let you customize your dual wield cosmetic. i have heard they're adding a weapon sheathe soon so we have that to look forward to.

 

They might, especially if the AQ3D team is going through all of the trouble of adding different default item wields for different classes during combat. Alpha Pirate would wield guns, rangers would wield bows, etc., so my best guess is that they might add off-hand weapons to specific classes (e.g. Guardian would wield a shield and a sword). Dage made a concept art of what wielding a shield could look like, but that's just concept art.

We will be seeing bows and dual wielding weapons. Maybe they will consider adding the shields

Look at the cape in the concept art. It looks a bit different than all the capes we have seen.

 

yeah they mentioned that in the recent notes. dual wielding is gonna happen! and i guess if that occurs, shields would be possible too

Well they probably will but from what i saw the models are build using only one dominant arm.. The other is pretty much a decoration moving alongside the body... I want some shields too!!
