I was actually thinking of that stacking issue, they should really do something with that. The armor appearing twice I don't think is really an issue. What I think they should do instead is just make each item be dropped by one certain monster. For instance the Chewed Warrior Armor should only be dropped by the Lycan Guards and no other mob in Darkovia.

  2. Having duplicate non-misc. items is generally redundant though. It's like gold farmers collecting multiple talon armors, when they only need one just to wear. There's this idea that having multiple items would be useful for trade/auction, but currently, there shouldn't be a reason to have multiple non-misc. items. And I agree that regular monsters shouldn't be dropping non-misc. items, and that those types of items should be reserved for bosses, but it's a nuisance seeing your loot list filled with 2-3 of the same armors as drops. There definitely could be some refining to do with how looting works.

It can be annoying if the drop rate is fairly common but if they make the drop rate less common I don't see a problem with it. It didn't seem like an issue before this new loot button.

in most common game when mobs dropping those junk equipment, we usually use it to enchant our equipment or break it down into material and sometimes sell it.

Or you just leave it on the ground because you have no need for it.

I dont think this should be a thing or it could lead to too many unnecessary inventory items. On the other hand it would be cool to give pets other features or stats.

    edit: typo

If it's going to be a feature, it would be a toggle most likely, but we got a loot button now so we probably aren't going to get it.

  11. It's all about implementation, especially if we have the choice to specify what 'category' of items we can auto-loot. For instance, maybe in the settings, you have a toggle for auto-loot, but then you have more specific options for auto-loot. These options would be, for example:

    [✓] Turn on auto-looting
    ....[x] Accept duplicate items
    ....[✓] Accept by quality
    ............[✓] Legendary
    ............[✓] Epic
    ............[x] Awesome
    ............[x] Uncommon
    ............[✓] Common
    ............[x] Junk
    ....[✓] Accept by item type
    ............[x] Armor
    ............[x] Weapon
    ............[x] Shoulders
    ............ ...
    ............[x] Forms
    ............[x] Pets
    ............[✓] Misc. items

So then you can control what items you actually want to auto-loot.

That really does simplify it a lot. Hoping to see something like this in the future !

The way looting works in AQ3D, something similar to this would for pretty well. This probably one of those things which get added to the idea list and be there for a long time.

  14. It's a much need feature for looting. Even AQWorlds faces the same issue, where players are prompted items that they don't want. Being able to narrow down the list of items would make it better for a lot of people. Sometimes players miss some drops, because they have to decide for a long time which items they want to pick up and manage their inventory while they do that.

AE never has made anything like it and it would be about time we had such a feature.

  16. What would really be useful in the meantime is if loot didn't disappear quickly. I think having an option to turn off the timer for when loot despawns would be useful, and then have players manually click X when looking through their loot from the loot button if they don't want a particular item. The only thing that would despawn, in that instance, would just be the bag in the overworld itself. It would be a temporary solution since having a list category may take a long time to see implemented.

AE could also just double the timer, but making loot not disappear when loot bags do can work too.

  18. I think eliminating the timer would be a better choice, so then people can decide at their own accord how they want to manage their drops. I know in AQWorlds, there's no timer for loots; you just have a 'Yes' and 'No' option for the item that drops, and you can click on it at anytime. The only problem is in AQWorlds, it's a mess, because the dialog box always blocks the screen and there's just no proper organization for loot, but it's a lot better than having to decide quickly on what to do. I know some people that have deleted important items (e.g. low % drop item, a difficult quest/craft item to farm for, DC items) because they had to quickly think of items to delete from their inventory for space.

If AE did that, it would just be AQW looting, but without the screen getting blocked and more clicking/tapping to actually loot everything.

  20. Not necessarily. It would be less clicking/tapping, if everything was implemented correctly. First off, you wouldn't have to click on the loot button everytime you want to loot items... you can click the loot button once you're finished farming, and then just loot everything from there. Also in AQWorlds, clicking on 'Yes' has a side-effect of accepting every duplicate item, so if AQ3D had something like that for misc. items, that would save a lot of time. Thirdly, it wouldn't be an exact feature like AQWorlds... the way I envision it would have options to narrow item types and qualities, and some way to 'Accept All' and 'Clear All' in the loot menu. It would flow a lot better than the current implementation.
