Spreading false rumors types of trolls are not good because you get peoples hopes up for nothing. But trolling people ingame as in having fun is fine as long as it's not harassment.

Lighthearted trolling? Isn't that just joking around?

I like harmless trolling. PvP or just spamming snowballs at yulgarsinn:D:D:D.

  4. I enjoy typing out philosophical and trivial stuff in chat to confuse players. It really gets people thinking, and sometimes even chatting for a good while.

And the fun part about trolling is responding with clever answers to serious questions. Examples:
    • Where is the boss? In AQ3D.
    • Where'd you get that item? From an NPC.
    • What's your code [referring to summon code]? My code is DNA. It's the building block of all life.
    • Where's Artix [referring to the staff]? He's in Shadowskull Tower [referring to the NPC].

Do you have some kind of list that you pick those philosophical and trival stuff from? If you do, I can imagine it being quite long.

  6. Mostly just improv or a reuse of old jokes. Only time I have a list is for quotes that I won't remember easily, like Biblical quotes. It's usually fun starting a conversation out of random topics.

It's kinda funny to think that you would just bust out a bible, pick up a quote, type it in chat and see what happens. What kinds of reactions have you received with those quotes, jokes and trivia stuff you have typed in chat? Any reaction that stands out?

  8. Some people just play along with it, some get mad, and some look for some counterarguments. If I said something like "Thou shalt not murder." where people are doing PvP, there's usually some weird reactions. If I say something like the "Earth is flat", some people play along with it accepting the Earth is flat or some say it's a cylinder/doughnut/dinosaur/etc., and if people refute the idea then I just play along and tell them Area 51 is hiding information about flat Earth and other conspiracy theories. There's a lot of mixed reaction, but it's usually fun chatting with random topics.

Coming up with a random topic can turn into civil small talk or spicy arguments.

  10. Just depends on the random topic. Sometimes there are moments when there's nothing to do but to troll around or do random stuff, like when waiting for a boss to spawn or hanging out in an AFK area. Places like Point Less Isle (long Clawg spawn) and Yulgar's Inn (the AFK room) tend to be where sparking a conversation can be fun.

AFK areas are great to begin conversations in because that's what they are mostly for.
