    Mod is short for Moderator. If you are a Mod and you represent yourself to everyone else as a Mod then you should act like one. That means go to the forum section where you are Mod and make it alive by either making new interesting treads, reviving some old ones or even better bringing new people that are interested in that game you are Mod-ing.
    Every time i walk in your part of the forum it is dead. You as a Mod have a job to make it come alive, it is simple as that :)
    It is up to you how you will do it but don't expect anything to happen on its own cause it won't :)

    Good post, Narubian:). Yes, mods need to act like a guide of sorts and add content, news, trivia questions etc. We don't need a mod just to tell us that a forum is not active enough lol. You have to at least try to stick with it and help the forum become more active. Unfortunately, very few mods have been able to do that. The ones who can are almost guaranteed to become Royal Ogres and stay that way:).

    As far as next time goes, will see again next month around this time to see if somebody really deserves it by then:).

    Ok, going to state officially that a low activity bar can get you removed from this group. Have mentioned it before in PMs etc, but it is now official. Anything under 50% will require a closer look and possibly cause a removal until the bar is back around 65% or more. Of course, the ones who post on a regular or even semi-regular basis will not have any problem staying above this:).

    A high activity bar will also be needed to be added to the group.

    Ok, going to reopen this thread and would like to keep it more informational than for discussions or complaining about not being chosen yet:).

    It looks like the next Royal Ogre will be somebody that steps up and becomes more active. Good candidates for this would be former Royal Ogres who are currently Ogre Regulars:).

    Yes. Everyone can become a Royal Ogre if they just keep being active in GameOgre and if they are helpful to the community. If you keep that up, you will probably become a royal ogre sometime

    The only thing you have to do to fill your bar is simply post a lot. If you keep posting a lot, it fills almost instantly

    Green bar doesn't look at your amount of luck but activity and that's a fact.
    I`m clear example of that:
    Due to final exams for collage i was not able to come for few days in a row and my activity bar dropped. Today i came online, made few posts, did round of checking on Hawx's and my part of the forum where we are mods, and i got from 84% to 89%.
    Had nothing to do with luck but activity/inactivity.

    I already explained very clearly how to become Royal and few others did as well. I suggest you work your way up on activity bar, start making constructive posts in general, be helpful on the way that you dont always wait for others to ask but when you see on some general parts of the forum that somebody needs help then jump in and help him.
    Do those things and i assure you that ogreman will seriously think about changing your name from green to purple ;)
