Royal Ogres

Yes, I will announce the next ones here that earn it.

 

Ok, looking for more Royal Ogres after returning from my trip.

 

Yea, most Royal Ogres may need to be tied to Events and Contests going forward. At least there needs to be some trying on them to maintain or attain Royal Status. The only exception would be something like a very active mod.

 

Got a few possibilities soon if they keep their current pace or even increase it.

 

Yes, the next Royal Ogre will be somebody who keeps participating in the big Forum Event.

Will probably be adding some new Royal Ogres in the next month or so while others may be heading into Ogre Veterans until they are active again.

 

Keep in mind that participation, especially in the big Forum Event, is one of the main ways to become a Royal Ogre. Actually, there are four active members in the current Event. Two are already Royals, but the other two will also be Royal Ogres if they keep it up.

 

The next Royal Ogres will be named next week.

 

OK, there may be one new Royal Ogre next week. Luckily we waited because one other prospect that was going to be named had a meltdown and has now been clubbed.

 

Tell you what, we may add two or more new Royal Ogres this week after all. We will be looking at the current Event and many other things.

Getting along with the rest of the community will definitely help.

 

Since it has been a long time since we had Royal Ogres, going to add three deserving ones at once this time. Yes, some of the names are shortened to spell easier, but they will get the Royal Purple just the same lol.

Paks has been great at the last Event and a couple of the Review contests. I said I would reward somebody with Royal Ogre status if he stayed steady and he fulfilled that.

Branko has been managing the LoL tournaments well and still posts quite a bit despite not entering tournaments.

Garagos was the second best a couple of Events ago and has been very steady overall. He has also tried to manage many trivias at once and has been steadier in the latest Event.

Congrats to all three of the New Royal Ogres.

Please take note that you can lose the Royal Ogre Status if your activity drops enough. If you see somebody who was a Royal Ogre and is now an Ogre Veteran or a Bloodthirsty Ogre, that is why. It is not a get there and stop type group. However, it is much easier to stay a Royal Ogre than it is to get it for the first time.

 

We may add some Royal Ogres soon.

On another note, wanted to let everybody know that overdoing the bugging (bugging repeatedly and sometimes with sarcasm) can you prevent or delay you becoming a Royal Ogre. Been doing this on an unofficial basis, but maybe saying it here will help for the future.

Anybody with over 1000 posts or a little under should definitely focus on that if they want a chance in the next crop of Royals. Also looking for continuity between Events as a big plus.
