Royal Ogres

In the same token, please remember that it is important to keep your activity bar above 50% when you are a Royal especially if you are not a mod or in control of something. If you were very active and then just drop everything to post a little, your bar will drop considerably.

As said and done before, those who are removed from the Royals can get it back when becoming active again.

 

Once again, it is looking like the next batch of Royal Ogres will come from the Big Forum Event. The ones who put in the most effort especially.

 

Some current Royals may be losing this status soon if their bar falls below 50%. Hint hint lol.

 

Ok, hint not taken. Some will fall from the Royals and go into Veterans now.

 

Currently, Sle and Ax are the two frontrunners for being the next Royals due to their effort in the Big Forum Event.

In fact, they are having one of the best first and second place battles yet. If they keep up their current pace, they are both locks to be the next Royal Ogres.

If another wants to become a Royal Ogre, the best advice I can give is to steadily participate in the Event with a lot of effort. This not only helps things such as posts and your activity bar etc, but it also makes you more high profile since I add points for that Event everyday.

 

Ok, shooting for adding at least two more Royal Ogres in April. However, I do look at how members begin, stop, and start the Big Events. That is why we do not usually add until the Next Event gets underway.

May get one or two outside the Event even if they are very active and running something for the forum.

 

Ok, as promised, a new Royal Ogre has been named. Sle becomes the latest Royal Ogre after holding the Iron Ogre award for two months.

Ok, as promised, we have a new Royal Ogre.

Ax has been named the newest Royal for his activity in the big Forum Events and his recent work in the WoW forum.

The next one in line appears to be Losmik so far. If anybody else over 1000 posts gets active in the Forum Events on a regular basis, they will be considered as well.

 

Once again, activity bars should be kept above 50% if you want to stay a Royal Ogre. Anybody below that and especially the ones trending even lower, will lose it. Sometimes, I notify before doing it, but sometimes not.

On to better news, Losmik and Croco are currently the next candidates. Hopefully more will be added to this list as the new Event starts.

 

Ok, decided to make this easier and make CS:GO for Royal Ogres only for the time being. This should give anybody wanting this game an incentive to either become one or stay one. For past Royals (provided they don't have the game), it should give incentive to get your activity bar back over 50% and hopefully keep it there.

How can you help? Comment on articles and play games there. More feedback would really help.

 

May add a couple of copies of CS:GO in the Forum shop for active Royal Ogres. By active, I mean participating in the Big Event regularly or posting in good forums. Please note that forum games by themselves are not considered good activity. They can help some but quality posts in forums like MOBA, Free MMORPG, and Shooters etc go much further.

Already have copies of Chivalry as well.

 

Losmik is the newest Royal Ogre. He won the last Event and is continuing on with the current one.

Also, Ivek, Aki, and Arz all got the purple back.

 

Ok, we are now on a new forum so it is time to starting thinking about new Royal Ogres.

1. The activity bar is gone so participation in the Big Events is even more important to becoming a Royal Ogre for the first time.
2. Deciding to remove yourself completely from Big Events for whatever reason can cause you to lose Royal status.
3. Do as much as possible in the Events. Being strong in the top two is a very strong indicator of becoming a Royal Ogre.

Being active on this forum is the best way to get and stay a Royal Ogre. The reverse is also true: Being active on the old forum but not on the new forum will not help your case as a Royal Ogre. In fact, have removed a few for that very reason. Thus, we are moving forward with the new forum and now the main site also with a new store and directory (in progress). Those who help the most here going forwarded will be rewarded the most.

Lastly, a couple of candidates are close now.

 

Ok, removed quite a few this time for a couple of reasons.

1. Aaddron and Pure are now in a mod group.
2. Some have been not as active after the forum move and/or not participating in the Big Event at all etc. Past winners can dial it down a notch if they want, but leaving the Event entirely and then posting sporadically ever after is not going to keep anybody a Royal Ogre. Just earning 50 points a day would be something and would keep you a Royal.

However, we do have some candidates that are getting closer.

1. Croco - Has been very steady but needs a little more to get over the hump.
2. Sulzyee - In the top two of the Big Event, but doesn't have the 1000 posts yet.

Lastly, we may have a new Perk or two for Royals.

 

The next Royal Ogre could be named within the next week. Hint hint lol. Would be a good time to step up activity, especially for the top two candidates previously mentioned.

Next in line is Sulzyee and then coming on strong but still under 1000 posts so far is Septera.
